Chapters 37. The Inconformant Appearance

Prince Albert looked at Laura before replying to Alexander.

"Thank you, I feel that way too."

I must have believed the saying that if I didn't know her true nature, Laura was staring at Prince Albert.

"So when are you getting married ?" alexander looked at the two of them in turn.

"It has not been determined the exact date of the palace." Answer Prince Albert.

"That means your marriage isn't sure yet." Alexander said he came to his own conclusions.

Prince Albert smiled mockingly at Alexander's words.

"Our marriage must have happened sooner or later because it was decided by the late King."

"You mean ?" Alexander's forehead shriveled, not understanding the meaning of Prince Albert's words.

"That means you really didn't hear the news of my wedding plans."

"Didn't I say it ?"

"Before Grandpa died, he had made a will that contained my matchmaking with Laura the granddaughter of his best friend." Prince Albert is.

"It seems like there's nothing else I should say to you so me and my fiancee excuse me first, we should greet Lord Prince Eric's party." Prince Albert said Laura's hearing sounded a little harsh.

"It's nice to meet you Laura, hopefully at the next meeting we can talk for longer." Alexander smiled softly at Laura, not replying to Prince Albert.

"Iy -"

"There won't be a next meeting, Alexander." Prince Albert firmly cut Laura's words, putting on a look of displeasure.

I must have thought she was jealous of Alexander had I not known in her zero sense, Laura snorted harshly inwardly at Prince Albert's attitude.

"Don't be too possessive of your partner Albert, not all women like such an attitude there are actually some women feel constrained by the nature of his partner like that." Alexander reminded.

"Isn't that Laura ?" Alexander asked Laura.

"Why should you ask Laura's opinion ?" Prince Albert asked back, not hiding his dislike of the direction of their conversation added Alexander who did not let the conversation between them finish.

Laura glanced at the look on Prince Albert's face which was starting to look angry.

I'd better interrupt the conversation between the two of them before the three of us become the center of attention of everyone in this room because of the debate that might be going on between the two of them.

"Your Majesty, didn't you say you wanted to say hello to Prince Eric ?" laura asked interrupted the two men's conversation.

Prince Albert looked at Laura. "Ehem yes, we should go there now." Prince Albert tried to neutralize the tone of his voice that had slightly risen.

Laura then looked at Alexander. "Mr Alexander, we'll excuse you." Pamit Laura is polite.

Alexander could only nod with a forced listen to Laura who said excuse me.

The two of them stepped closer to the crowd of people surrounding Prince Eric.

Without looking conspicuous so as not to attract people's attention, Prince Albert whispered in Laura's ear.

"From the beginning I saw you tonight, I wanted to tell you this. Why did you untangle your long hair, didn't I tell you to never break your long hair in front of anyone other than me ?" Prince Albert's whisper was full of emphasis in his every word.

Laura gulped first before answering Prince Albert's question.

"I also had to do His Majesty." Answer Laura.

"I don't want a lot of excuses from you Ara." Prince Albert did not want to hear Laura's explanation.

"There is a passageway leading to the door of the woman's bathroom on the side before the left in the corner of this room. You go there now, neatly roll up your long hair, after which you instantly catch up with me gathered with Prince Eric." Added Prince Albert.

"Miss Laura."

Edward's voice called out from behind, Laura stopped her footsteps and turned to look at Edward who was approaching her.

It looks like Edward is holding two glasses of mocktail requested by Laura earlier.

"Sorry Edward, you must be busy looking for me." Laura said in an unpleasant tone.

"Where do you want Miss Laura to go ?" edward asked as he stood right in front of Laura.

"I have to go to the bathroom to make my appearance."

Edward's forehead shriveled at Laura's words, his gaze staring at Laura's appearance which he thought was very charming.

"Your appearance is fine, still looks posing."

Laura smiled wryly."Maybe for you like that but for Prince Albert not."

"Have you met Prince Albert ?"

"Yes when you go get a drink." Laura replied as she stared at the drink Edward was holding.

"Sorry Edward, I have to go to the bathroom now. Prince Albert is waiting for me." Laura was not feeling well.

"It's okay Miss Laura, you don't have to feel guilty like that. I'll wait for you outside the room." Edward smiled calmly.

"Thank you Edward, I'll find you when I get home." Lauratersyum.

"You don't have to look for me, I'll come for you." Edward corrected Laura's words.

"Well, I have to go to the bathroom now."

"Yes." Yeah."

Edward remained standing in his place, after Laura entered and disappeared behind the bathroom door only to turn away.

Inside the bathroom, Laura stood in front of the wastapel mirror.

"Believe yourself Laura, there are many women in there who dress more open than the dress you wear now. No one will notice your presence there." Laura muttered as she began to roll up her hair.

Laura noticed her appearance more clearly than the reflection of the mirror. "It's time to get out."

But it turns out that reality is very different from what Laura expected, she returned to the limelight once she entered the banquet.

Relax Laura, you must get used to the situation as from now on because once you marry a member of the royal family you will inevitably become the center of attention of people.

Stepping gracefully while calming down to the place where Prince Albert and Prince Eric were seriously conversing.

Prince Eric is aware of Laura's presence.

"Who is the beautiful woman who is stepping closer to us ?" prince Eric asked Prince Albert.

Prince Albert followed the direction of Prince Eric's gaze, he was again fascinated for the second time when he saw the appearance of Laura who was walking closer to them.

Welcoming Laura and possessively putting her palm on Laura's open back, reflexively raising her forehead next to put on a question mark-filled face look on Laura.

"You told me to get my hair straightened." Laura said, answering the implied question from Prince Albert's facial expression.

"It looks like you guys are very close." Prince Eric made a sound before Prince Albert replied to Laura, drawing the conclusion of the interaction between the two.

Prince Albert looked at Prince Eric. "Of course we're close to Eric, I'd like to introduce you to my fiance Laura Clarissa George."
