Chapter 9: Leaving the Bloody Mist Forest

Rai was still flying over the Bloody Mist Forest. He followed the directions of Raiden to reach a town far from the Bloody Mist Forest.

"Raiden, this forest is vast. Do you really know where the city is?" ask Rai to Raiden.

"Do you doubt me?" ask Raiden back.

"Yes, a little bit" Rai replied.

"Look, I can tell where the city is because I can feel the pieces of power I left there hundreds of years ago" Raiden said.

"Princess strength?"

"Yes. I once left a blue sword somewhere near the city. The blue sword was actually a replica of the Sky Lightning Sword. The sword is also at the Heaven level" said Raiden.

Rai directly checked his storage ring. And sure enough, he found a mask among the piles of treasures. He took out the mask from the storage ring and started wearing it.

The mask only covered half of his face, his eyes and nose. Even so, but the mask was enough to hide Rai's true identity.

"You should also wear the robe of the Lightning Dragon War Set. The robe can cover your aura and cultivation level," Raiden suggested.

Out of curiosity, Rai finally walked up to the sect gatekeeper and asked them.

"You don't seem to be from here, do you? All right, I'll explain. This was the Lightning Dragon sect. The sect always held a test to select the best warrior candidates who would later join them," replied one of the guards.

"All right, I'll come!" said Rai then entered into the sect to do registration.

It didn't take long for Rai to find that registration spot. However, the long queue made Rai have to wait longer.

After waiting for three hours, it is now Rai's turn to register. With a slight careless step, Rai walked towards that registration post.

"Welcome, sir! Do you want to sign up?" ask the registry guard who is a woman.

"Yes!" answer Rai.

"All right! What's your name, sir? How old are you? And what level are you at now?" ask the woman.

"My name is Rai Tanaka. I'm about 18 years old. And I was on the level... Mortal General stage Master!" answer Rai.

"Good, master!" the woman then wrote down all the information Rai spoke and gave Rai a piece of paper, "Here, sir! You have to take him for the exam which will be held in two days. You understand, sir?"

"I want to book a room for one person" Rai replied.

"alright, sir. It costs 35 Bronze Pearls. And here's your key" the officer said, handing Rai a key.

Rai took out a number of Bronze Pearls and gave them to the attendant. After that, Rai took the key and went upstairs which was the place to stay. He then meditated in order to train with Raiden in his soul room.

"Raiden, can that blue robe I'm wearing change my cultivation level to my liking?" asked Rai once he had entered the Soul Room.

"could. But, you must awaken the dragon blood that is within you first" replied Raiden.

"Ck, is there no other way?" tanya Rai was disappointed.
