Chapter 20: Return to the Bloody Mist Forest

Rai again appeared in front of the sect gate. His appearance shocked the gatekeepers of the sect until some of them pointed their weapons at Rai.

"W-who are you?" ask one of the guards with slightly trembling hands.

"Tie! There's no way you've forgotten that name!" said Rai.

"Oh... I'm sorry, Mr Rai! I was only a little shocked when I saw the master appear all of a sudden!" said the guard while scratching the back of his head that was not itchy.

"Well... Accept this! Share it with your friends and continue with your vigil!" said Rai while throwing a bag full of Golden Pearls.

The guard caught the pouch Rai threw and opened it. How surprised he was when he saw the contents of the pouch filled with Golden Pearls.

"T-lord Rai... It's too much." said the guard.

"It's okay. I still have a lot!" reply Rai.

"Thank you, sir!" the guard then returned to his post.

Rai then continued his journey. However, there was a man who suddenly grabbed onto his shoulder and made Rai stop his steps.

"Who?" ask Rai.

"It's me! The first son of the governor Abelard and the older brother of Adrian and Audi!" the one who said it was none other than Aaron.

"Oh, Aaron! What's up?" ask Rai again.

"Hey, why don't you call me brother? Didn't you call Ramiel 'sister'?" ask Aaron.

"Oh, so you're just here to ask questions like that? Well, thank you for wasting my precious time!" said Rai then waltzed away.

"Eh, Rai! Waitaminute! Where are you going?" aaron asked half-shouting.

"The Bloody Fog Forest!" rai replied then took out a pair of dragon wings to fly towards the Bloody Mist Forest.

"Hey, Rai! Wait!" aaron's yell instantly flew over Rai by converting the natural energy into a pair of green-colored wings.

"Otherwise? Are you also going to the Bloody Mist Forest?" asked Rai indifferently.

"Yes! I want to look for the Eternal Heaven Lightning Lotus flower!" answer Aaron.

Rai was slightly surprised when Aaron said he wanted to look for the Eternal Sky Lightning Lotus flower, "You want to look for that flower?" tanya Rai who was replied with a nod by Aaron.

"Oh, looks like we have to compete!" Rai.

"So, you're looking for that flower too? All right, we're gonna compete! Whoever finds the flower and defeats his guard, then he has the right to have it!" said Aaron.

"Okay, challenge I accept! The first round, who would be the fastest to arrive at the Bloody Mist Forest, would have one point to obtain the Eternal Heaven Lightning Lotus flower!" Rai.

However, not finished Aaron counting, Rai has darted first and left Aaron alone who was pensive to see Rai fly away.

Rai arrived at the meadow, close to the border of the Bloody Mist Forest covered by a thick fog. He then took out a sword and walked closer to the border of fog.

Shortly after, the figure of Aaron suddenly appeared behind Rai with a landing that did not run smoothly. Aaron rolled around on the ground and stopped when his body was held by Rai using his legs.

"Rai, you're cheating!" said Aaron.

"It's only until you've been like this? Better just go home!" Rai.

"No! I'm not going home! I'M NOT GOING HOME!!!" shouted Aaron.

"Well... It's up to you! Hurry in and follow me if you still want to get that lotus flower!" rai then disappeared from in front of Aaron.

"Haishis... That kid!" aaron then went into the woods.

"Raiden, are those lotus flowers really around here?" ask Rai.

"Really! The flowers are around here! It's just, there's a barrier covering it so I don't feel the aura too much!" answer Raiden.

Rai just nodded slowly while continuing to walk carefully. His black eyes stared intently at the surrounding trees which continued to give off an aura of death.

Although Rai could not use natural energy for a while, but he still mastered an extremely powerful sword technique. In fact, in the city where he lived first, Rai was nicknamed as the 'King of the Sword', because of his skill in playing the sword.

In addition, Rai is also dubbed as the 'Eye of Gods', because he can see whatever is around him. Even if it is in an illusion.

Rai then ran towards one of the Amphipteres with his hand ready to shake his sword, "Hiyaa..."

"GROOOOOOOOO!!!"

One wing of the Amphiptere was neatly cut off and made him shout furiously. Not stopping there, Rai again shook his sword at Amphiptere until his tail and remaining wings were cut back.

Slashwas... Buk...

Rai ended his attack with a quick slash that neatly cut off the head of the Amphiptere to make him die instantly.

"Well, who's next?" said Rai with a horrible tone and grin.

"GROOOOOOOOO!!!"

"GROOOOOOOOO!!!"

"GROOOOOOOOO!!!"

As he understood Rai's words, all the remaining Amphiptere immediately replied to him with angry shouts and were joined by their respective attacks.

Getting an attack with a large scale, making Rai even more excited. He raised his sword right in front of him intending to protect his body while saying a sentence.

"Swade Technique: Reversal Attack, Absorb!" rai shouted loudly.

Swush... Swush...

Swosh's... Swosh's...

Shuuts...

The Amphiptere attacked Rai simultaneously. However, all the attacks suddenly disappeared, because it was absorbed by Rai's katana sword until the blade emitted a bright blue light that was quite blinding to the eyes.

"Swade Technique: Reverse Attack, Release!" rai said with a grin on his face.
