Chapter 15: The Final

The final is held tomorrow after the semifinals. In this case, it will bring Rai against Rin. Although this round is looking for winners who will get the 1st and 2nd championship titles, but they have officially become disciples of the Lightning Dragon sect since qualifying for the semifinals yesterday.

Now they only live this final round as a mere formality. However, they were still preparing to face their respective opponents. They want to anticipate the attacks launched by the opponent.

Even so, Rai continued to make preparations with a little relaxed. He was just making preparations as usual and slightly sharpening his katana sword.

After all the preparations were done, Rai decided to rest on her bed while waiting for Rin who had not finished. However, just a few minutes he was resting, the sound of the door knocking was heard.

Rai stood up and opened the door lazily. There was a young woman who was about 17 years old standing in front of the door of Rai's room. The woman is none other than Rin, the opponent Rai will face in the final later.

"You ready?" tanya Rai who was only replied by a nod by Rin.

The two of them finally descended and went straight to the Lightning Dragon sect to carry out the match.

Arriving there, there was a crowd of people trying to stand or seat the audience with a very noisy voice. The sight made Rai lazy and walked a little shaky.

"Well... The atmosphere makes me so lazy!" gerutu Rai's.

Rin who was beside him could only smile and laugh giggling after seeing Rai's behavior like that.

They then entered the sect and waited in their respective waiting rooms. While waiting for his match, Rai decides to check every information Raiden gets as well as his shadow which he is assigned to investigate about the Kiyomizu clan.

"Hey, you! What else are you finding right now?" rai asked his shadow through telepathy.

"Consolidate a little, bro! Wait a minute! I'm researching something!" reply Rai shadow.

"Well... All right, hurry up a little, okay?" Rai.

"All right, I get it!" said Rai shadow then disconnected the telepathic connection.

"Raiden, are you sleeping?" ask Rai to Raiden.

"No, I'm thinking of something!" answer Rai.

"Thinking something? What'sthat?" ask Rai.

"The transparent barrier wall that is inside Rin's body. The barrier wall was made of an evil energy. But, not too strong," replied Raiden.

"What kind of evil energy of the race is that?" ask Rai again.

"People of the demon race. Because the energy of the demon race was very opposite to the energy of the dragon race and the god race!" answer Raiden.

"Do you know what kind of demon has that energy?" ask Rai.

"It looks like one of the Seven Deadly Sins demons!" answer Raiden.

"What?! Seven Deadly Sins?!" asked Rai with a surprised look.

"Really! That energy was like coming from a Seven Deadly Sins demon! But, that energy was slightly weaker than usual! Maybe the demon spirit is injured!" answer Raiden.

Rai was about to ask further. But, the voice from elder Adraksh made him undo his intentions.

"Alright, Raiden! We'll continue later after my shadow gets the information!" said Rai who was replied with a nod by Raiden.

Over the arena, though,

"Welcome, everyone! Come back with me, Adraksh! This time, I will be the referee in the final match that will bring together the two strongest participants! They defeated his opponents as easily as flipping a palm! Let's welcome them, Rai Tanaka and Rin!" said elder Adraksh.

Rai and Rin immediately walked towards the arena as soon as they heard their names being called. They looked at each other for a moment before entering the arena.

"Alright, since both participants have already entered the arena, then let's start the match! Get ready, mu—" elder Adraksh's speech came to a halt when Rai asked him.

"Chairman, sorry I interrupted! But, I want to ask you something!" rai said cutting out Adraksh's elder, "Are we allowed to use elements other than the lightning element?"

Elder Adraksh was a little surprised when he heard the question from Rai, "Emm... Looks like ti—"

The words of the elder Adraksh came to a standstill when a male voice entered his ear. Elder Adraksh let out a long sigh then answered Rai's question.

"Well... Can do!" replied Elder Adraksh resigned.

"All right, then..." Rai then took out four flags and installed them on the four corners of the arena.

After which, Rai uttered a stance, "Protective Form! Energy Wall!"

The four flags installed in each corner of the arena instantly emitted natural energy. That natural energy formed walls that protected the entire arena.

"Let's start the game! Prepare, begin!" said elder Adraksh.

Rai and Rin immediately shot forward while grasping their respective weapons. Rai with a katana shrouded in purple lightning and Rin with a rapier sword enveloped by blue lightning.

Trangs...

The sound of the iron clink was created after the two swords from Rai and Rin collided with each other. They then continued the match with a very fast gunfight that could not be seen by the human eye.

Purple and blue colored lightning lights decorated the arena. Everyone was stunned at once stunned as they watched that quick fight. No one expected, that there were participants who possessed such skills.

However, everyone's shock was a joy to Abrecan. The leader of the Lightning Dragon sect was delighted to learn that the chosen young man was within his sect.

"I finally found it! Blue Lightning Sword, does that young man have a sword that contains your spirit and ultimate power?" abrecan asked his blue sword.

"Really! Let them fight first, then you make them your students! After that I will join the spirit! But, it depends on him alone, will it or not!" it was clearly the spirit inside his sword.

'Hehehe... Please join him! Because I will kill the boy and snatch his sword!' abrecan's inner self while smiling wickedly.

Realizing Abrecan's thoughts, the spirit inside the Blue Lightning Sword tried to remind Abrecan by scaring him.

"Hey, are you thinking of killing that young man?" ask the spirit.

"N-no!" abrecan answered with sweat that began to drench his face.

"Good, then. Because if you do that, you'll die in one snap. No, you're gonna die just from looking into his eyes!" said the spirit that instantly made Abrecan even more frightened.

The battle between Rai and Rin is not over yet. In fact, the match was as if it had no end. Because the two of them displayed their extremely powerful original strength. Although Rai had yet to unleash his Senior-stage Mortal King level power.

"Rai, get all your power out! I know you're hiding your true strength!" rin said in the middle of the match.

"Are you willing?" ask Rai.

"I'll try!" said Rin.

Rai only let out a long sigh then jumped backwards. He inserted his katana and stuck his right hand towards the right. Suddenly, a white sword appeared in Rai's right hand.

The sword gave off an extremely powerful aura. However, that aura did not seep out due to the barrier attached. Rai then gave off his entire Senior-stage Mortal King aura.

Rin who felt the aura from Rai, slightly trembled and sweated. He tried to protect himself by flowing natural energy throughout his body.

Meanwhile, outside the arena the aura of Senior Mortal King belonged to Rai slightly seeped out and made all the spectators tremble. In fact, there were few spectators who fainted due to the heavy pressure.

Elder Adraksh who saw that, immediately warned Rai to hold back his aura, "Participant Rai, hold your aura! You're making all the spectators tremble!"

Rai immediately pulled his aura back once he got the warning from elder Adraksh. Instantly things become normal. The pressure that had previously weighed on the spectators, now slowly disappeared.

"I've shown you everything! Now it's your turn!" said Rai.

"All right! But, I sense there's one thing you're hiding! Aren't you going to get him out?" said Rin.

"Heh, looks like you can see everything I've been hiding, huh?" said Rai.

"All right! But, we're getting it out together!" continued.

Rin nodded and kept his rapier sword. He then took out something from within his storage ring, as well as Rai.

Suddenly, the atmosphere became cold. Almost everyone there shivered in the cold, except Rai and Rin.

Why that? Because the cold aura was coming from the two of them who were grasping the blue-colored sword in each other's hands.

"I suspected! You must have brought a fragment of his power!" said Rin.

"Is that so? Do you want to put it together?" ask Rai.

"Of course, if you want to hand it over!" said Rin.

"All right! I'll hand it over! But, on condition that you defeat me! How's it?" Rai.

"Agreed!" answer Rin.

"Then, be prepared! Because I won't hold back!" said Rai while displaying his frequent.
