Chapter 58: Holy Lightning 2

Rai fell down after coughing blood due to the hard impact he experienced. He felt his body crumpled inside. His bones hurt. And his body feels numb. Meanwhile, his two shadows had vanished as he smashed into the cave wall. His two swords were stuck in the ground not far from him.

'Shit! Am I going to fail here? Will I lose and my soul be destroyed? Will I lose my power? Did i... Failed to avenge... My family?' Rai asked himself. But he couldn't find the answer.

Rai's gaze slowly blurred. He saw 4 statues of holy lightning in the corners of the cave, laughing at his condition. While the 3 giant beasts were attacking him, slowly approached.

When his vision was completely dark, he saw the shadow of his family's memories. Memories of his father, mother, sister, uncle, aunt, grandmother, and grandfather as a child. At that time, the world was still running normally.

Green and beautiful meadow, used as a place to practice by two brothers and two others. The other four were preparing breakfast in another part of the pasture.

"If it damages the wooden doll, then it must take it and reassemble it" Rai replied.

"You know what you're supposed to do?"

"Know, Cake. Sorry," said Rai bowed.

"Then, take it immediately. After breakfast, we go to the carnival" said the grandfather.

"Alright, Cake!" rai said with a happy smile.

With a quick step, Rai took the wooden puppet's head. But just as he was about to turn around, suddenly a heat was felt by him. Curious, Rai turned around and looked towards the heat.

How shocked he was to see his house burning. All of his family members died in terrible conditions.

"W-what happened?"

Rai muttered. He has now turned into a 17-year-old boy. And the events he saw at this moment, were the lowest point of his life.

"R-Ray! Quickly go d-from here!" the father's orders are still trying to survive.

"But dad!..."

"Quick! Argh.." those were the last words from Rai's father before a spear pierced his body.

Heavily, Rai ran away from his family accompanied by teardrops that followed in his footsteps.

"Is the child still alive?" ask the red giant.

"Yes, he just fainted," replied the purple giant.

"Sad. I thought his ability was more than this, it was nothing more than a loser" said the black giant.

"What does this mean for him to lose?" ask the gold giant.

"Well, maybe," replied the purple giant.

"Then the animals can eat his soul" said the golden giant, giving a cue to devour Rai's soul.

With a hungry look, the remaining animals began to approach Rai's body which was still drooping helplessly. But just as they were about to open their mouths, Rai suddenly moved.

Rise slowly with a sharp look. Then pulled out his Sky Lightning Sword and katana. With a swipe, Rai jumped up and maneuvered down and swooped while aiming for the head of the Lion.

A stab of two swords becomes the end of the Lion. He fell to the ground with a hollow head. Blood poured out of the hole and flooded where Rai was standing.

"It's not over yet!" said Rai firmly.

"The Body of the Lightning God!"

Bzzz... BLAZZZ...

A burst of lightning emerged from Rai's body and caused the two remaining animals, to bounce banging against the cave wall. This also made the four giants standing in the corners of the cave shocked.

"This child, can't be underestimated," muttered the purple giant who then displayed a smile of his profusion, "It seems like I'll see rare talent again."

Rai who had changed form, just went ahead to attack the red Eagle who was trying to avoid his attack. But because the size of the cave is not too broad, making the red Eagle can not move freely. So that it can be ambushed easily by Rai.

"No need to run away, just give up!" rai's orders while swinging both his swords.

The longer, the swings of the two swords became even faster. The red eagle lost one of its wings and fell to the ground.

In a helpless state, the red Eagle looks resigned to Rai who will slash his body.

The body of the Red Eagle was slashed easily by Rai until it was split in two. Rai's gaze now turned to the purple Dragon who was also staring at him from the other side of the cave.

With a quick step, Rai ran towards the Dragon followed by a crackle of lightning that appeared all over his body.

"Eightteen Lightning God Slashes!"

Rai leaped towards the purple Dragon and performed 18 slashes using both of his swords which had been strengthened by the lightning element. A very fast and also brutal movement was displayed by Rai. The Dragon's blood spurted in all directions followed by cries of pain from the Dragon.

Sing... Sing... Sing... Sing... Sing...

"GROOOOOOOOO!!!"

Bruck... Boom...

The body of the purple Dragon, fell violently onto the ground. The blood that poured from his scar began to inundate his place of death.

"Look! Who wins now?" rai asked in a quipped tone, "Don't decide anything in a hurry before you see the results,"

"Alright, Rai! Since you have won this fight, you have the right to absorb the Soul Pearls of the four creatures. Within each Soul Pearl, there is fifty percent of our strength! Absorb and use it as best you can!" said the purple giant.

"All right, I get it! Thank you for the gift you gave me!"

Feeling that the task was done, the four giants turned themselves into stone statues.

Meanwhile, Rai was gathering four Soul Pearls scattered everywhere. Then, he placed the four Soul Pearls before him while starting the absorption stage.

Rai had successfully absorbed the power of the four Soul Pearls and made his cultivation rise to God stage Master.

Feeling that the absorption process had been completed, Rai immediately opened his eyes. A crackling of 4 colors of holy lightning, appeared at the end of his eyes.

"Finally, I succeeded. My goal will be achieved soon. Prepare, Lucifer! Your destroyer has arrived!"
