Chapter 57: Holy Lightning

Rai opened his eyes slowly. He looked around and realized he was in a different place.

"So this is how the pool of consciousness works" Rai murmured then stood up and began to trace the place.

He groped everything around him slowly. He also wiped and cleaned some of the statues that were there while hoping to find something.

Until where Rai found an object that looks like a nameplate covered with dust. He slowly cleaned it up until he found a letter that was the name of the place.

"Lightning Altar?"

Right after Rai read the writing, the signboard before him suddenly shone and dazzled his gaze.

As the signboard grew brighter, Rai's two hands shook on their own and suddenly sent sky lightning and gold lightning into the signboard.

Shortly after, the signboard shattered into pieces due to the pressure from the sky lightning and golden lightning. But right after the nameplate was destroyed, there appeared a thunderstorm with 3 colors from under Rai's feet.

Those three streaks of lightning were the sky lightning, the golden lightning and the black lightning. The three streaks of lightning then spread throughout the room and made the four statues in the corner of the room come alive.

The four statues, which were previously covered in stone and dust, have now turned into giants of different colors. The colors of the four giants, also became a symbol of their strength.

The purple coloured giant, had the power of sky lightning. The golden coloured giant, had the power of golden lightning. The giant was black in color, possessing the power of black lightning. And the red coloured giant, had the power of red lightning.

"Who are you, young man?" ask the gold giant.

"Where are you from?" ask the black giant.

"How did you get in here?" ask the red giant.

"And how do you have 3 divine lightning powers at once?" ask the purple giant.

Finding himself in the crowd with a myriad of questions, Rai could only sigh.

"My name is Rai Tanaka. I come from Human World. I can be here thanks to the pool of consciousness. And about me having 3 divine lightning powers at once that's because I got help from the 3 Heaven Beasts" Rai explained.

"Hm, 3 Heaven Beasts? What the hell is that?" ask the purple giant.

"Lightning Dragon, Golden Dragon and Black Magical Cat," Rai replied.

The four giants were aghast at Rai's reply. They looked at Rai with a look of disbelief.

"What are you saying that's true, young man?" asked the purple giant who was replied with a nod by Rai.

"How could a human from the Human World possess 3 Heaven Beasts capable of delivering holy lightning?" ask the red giant.

"There is only one way to prove it" said the purple giant as he looked at his comrades with a certain intent.

"Young man, we'll give you a test!" said the purple giant.

"What do you mean by that?" ask Rai.

"We will test you with our strength!" the golden giant.

"You can use whatever you have against him!" connect the black giant.

"And if you can face our test, maybe you can get our strength! But if you fail, your soul will be wiped out!" red giant lid.

"All right! I accept that!" answer Rai.

Upon hearing Rai's reply, the four giants created four beings that represented the power of the holy lightning.

The dragon representing the sky lightning, Kirin representing the golden lightning, Tiger representing the black lightning and Eagle representing the red lightning.

"The rule is you have to fight them! If you can defeat them, their power will be yours! But if you lose, your soul will be their meal!" clearly a purple giant.

"All right!" rai said then took out his katana sword.

'I will try to measure their strength with golden lightning, ' Rai inner.

Bzzz... Bzzz...

Rai used his golden lightning element to fight against those creatures. He flowed his golden lightning into the blade of the katana sword he was holding.

Then, Rai lunged forward towards the golden Kirin with the God Eye technique he had activated. And with a sword slash, he began his fight with the creatures.

The golden Kirin that had come under attack from Rai, instantly shot a giant ball of lightning towards Rai. But unfortunately, Rai's rapid movement made him able to avoid the attack.

"A Golden Lightning Circle!"

Rai extended his sword forward while continuing to flow golden lightning into his katana sword which began to bring out golden lightning tendrils.

Seeing that the golden Kirin was motionless, Rai instantly turned his target to the black Tiger and changed his power into the black lightning element he obtained from Theron's power.

As a result, Rai bounced towards the Red Eagle who was ready to greet him with an attack.

Seeing his desperate condition, Rai created 2 shadows of himself that would help him to fight the black Tiger and the Red Eagle.

Without much ado, Rai's 2 shadows instantly moved against the black Tiger and the Red Eagle. While the real Rai, moves against the golden Kirin.

"Golden Lightning Launch!"

The katana sword that Rai wielded emitted a tinge of golden light that made Kirin's gaze golden glare. Do not want to waste the opportunity Rai directly hit Kirin gold with a style that is ready to be used.

Rai took out the Sky Lightning Sword from the storage ring and dragged it as he walked towards the purple Dragon. Slowly the sky lightning flowed from Rai's hand towards the Sky Lightning Sword.

Rai leaped up high and instantly flashed a diagonal slash towards the purple Dragon's face. The slash hit the purple Dragon's face fiercely and managed to anger him.

"GRAYRR!!!!"

The furious purple dragon, attacked Rai with giant balls of lightning energy. But the attack can still be avoided Rai well.
