Chapter 31: The Demon King's Inheritance

Rai descends from the top of the fortress to approach the leader of the vampire race troops that he brackets after the battleground there, clean of living creatures.

Rai only smiled faintly and then held back the tip of the sword of the vampire race leader using his right hand that was already coated with sky lightning.

"Patience a little!" rai said then threw the body of the vampire, "What's your name?" rai asked as he pulled the Sky Lightning Sword from behind his back.

"My name is Rez!" the vampire replied after refurbishing his fighting position.

"Alright, Rez! Prepare yourself, because I will not hold back from killing you!" said Rai by displaying a smile often.

"Currently, only a Mortal General stage Master wants to go against me who is a Senior stage Immortal General?" ledek Rez with a contemptuous smile.

"Oh, is that it?" ask Rai.

He then took out his entire aura up to the level of a Legend-stage Mortal King. The outflow of the aura made Rez and Ramiel who happened to be there, depressed to make them prostrate on the ground.

Elsewhere, Abelard who suddenly felt the aura of a Legendary Mortal King, was immediately bowed down from the pressure.

"What kind of aura is this?" abelard murmured in the heart.

"Yes, right! That's me!" reply Rai while nodding his head.

"Ja-so you're one of the people from the Tanaka family! But... W-why do you still get away with the massacre? I'm sure that no one from the Tanaka family survived!" rez said he didn't believe it.

"Haha... Looks like you weren't informed by the royal party, huh? Ck... Ck... Ck... How ironic! Then I'll introduce myself! My name is Rai Tanaka and I am your god of death!" said Rai then darted towards Rez.

"AARRGHGHHHH!!! MY HAND!!!" rez cried out in pain after his left hand was cut off by the blade of the sword Rai was carrying.

"Audi! What are you doing here?!" asked Rai in an angry tone.

"I-I want to fight! But, dad forbid me to come! So-so, I'm here secretly!" answer Audi who is now in the grip of Rez.

"So, you mean you're here to fight, right?" tanya Rai who replied nod by Audi.

"Well... Basic load!" gumam Rai.

"What's up, Rai? Why are you quiet?" tanya Rez is now strangling Audi's neck.

"Are you afraid this beautiful woman will get hurt?" ask Rez again which this time followed by the action of sticking his tongue towards Audi.

"Tie! Please help me!" pinta Audi trying to get away from Rez's tongue.

Rai silently stared. His body shook from the spot and his head lowered to look at the sword he was carrying.

For a moment Audi thought that Rai would not help him after a small case that occurred at the governor's dimension, "Rai..."

But, that thought he immediately threw away after seeing Rai's body that started moving.

"All right, I'll help you! But, please stay away from me after this is all over!" said Rai.

"Yes, I'll stay away from you this time!" reply Audi.

'Golden Dragon, can I try the power of golden lightning?' rai asked the golden dragon who was inside his Soul Room.

'Tryin' it? Nah! Defeat that vampire first and I will lend you my power later!' reply Golden Dragon.

'All right, thank you!'

"Faul... All right, I'll end this!" rai shouted after breathing leisurely for a moment to calm his mind.

He then raised his sword high while uttering a stance, "Dragon Lightning's slash! Level 2: Lightning Sky Dragon Slash!"
