Chapter 43: The Battle of the Subordinates

A voice of applause suddenly sounded amidst the silence. Making Rai slightly turn her gaze towards the source of the voice.

A black man with two small horns protruding forward stood upright next to Zhao Chen's decomposing body.

Rai was not too surprised at the figure that appeared in front of him. Because he had guessed that the figure of the demon race, would definitely appear when his host had died.

"Haha... I didn't expect that you'd make me get out of that trashy young man's body and catch one of my bodyguards! I didn't expect this from the first time we met! However, you surprised me when you managed to find me just before that short duel! You succeeded in impressing me!" said the demon who is none other than Leviathan, one of the Seven Deadly Sins that represents the sin of envy.

"I don't need compliments and rants from a lowly creature like you! It'll just stain my hearing!" reply Rai cold.

"Now, I don't want to linger here! Quickly send out all your bodyguards so that I can defeat you!" continued Rai.

"Hoo... You're too excited, young man! Also confident! But, you still need another 1,000 years to defeat us!" leviathan said with a cynical smile.

"Haha... 1,000 years? It seems you're dreaming, old man!" reply Rai cynical.

"Old grandfather? You called me old grandpa?! You self-destructive child! All right, everybody out now!" shouted Leviathan giving the order.

Several black silhouettes suddenly appeared from various directions. Waged several attacks that hit the invisible defense wall made by Rai.

"Honor my Lord!" said a burly man with two large horns on his forehead while performing a half-kneeling salute followed by a black-haired lion beside him.

"Let me take care of Rafael!" said Violet who suddenly appeared beside Rai while taking Rafael from Rai's clutches.

Rai ignored Violet and chose to focus her gaze towards the man who was about to attack her. His eyeballs were constantly staring at the man, as if making him focus only in one direction.

But the truth is not. Rai did not just focus his gaze on the man. He also focused his gaze on the black-haired lion moving silently.

'Hm... The main attack from the front and the surprise attack from the back! But equally targeting vital points!' inner Rai after seeing the two-way attack launched by the spear-headed man and the black-haired lion.

Indeed, Rai had activated his God Eye since the first duel began. This was what allowed him to know the whereabouts of Leviathan within Zhao Chen's body as well as the whereabouts of his bodyguards attacking him from both directions.

Raiden and Theron appeared suddenly and directly attacked the black-haired lion and the two-horned man. Raiden and Theron throw them out of the arena.

"Oh, Lightning Dragon! Long time no see!" said the two-horned man.

"Hell Dragon! You lowly dragon!" said Raiden growled while attacking Hell Dragon.

"What did you say? Low-down? You grand-ass dragon! Die here!" hell Dragon said while replying to Raiden's attack.

"The Heaven Lightning Strike!"

"The Hell Fire Flames!"

DUARR... BOOOOMM...

The huge explosion occurred when the two moves collided with each other and created shock waves that blew the debris of the arena around them. The explosion also pushed Raiden and Hell Dragon back several meters before striking each other again.

On the other side of the arena,

There have been many exchanges of attacks that they have made. However, there were no signs the fight was over. On the contrary, the fight is even more fierce with increasingly intense attacks launched by two camps.

"Great fight, Black Tiger! I can't believe you're stronger than you used to be!" ransley praised Theron.

It sounded like an iron clink as Theron's claws came into contact with Ransley's claws. His body was pushed back a few meters.

'Hm... Something was wrong with Ransley's expression just now! Also the warning he sent me! What exactly is he trying to warn me?' inner Theron tried to think of the meaning behind the expression and warning that Ransley had said earlier. He watched the entire arena full of fights for clues.

Leviathan showed her evil grin while raising her right hand up, "Albert! Come outside!"

Suddenly there was a huge amount of black smoke coming from Leviathan's palm. The black smoke continued to come out until it covered the entire arena before condensing into a dragon.

"GROOOOOOOOO!!!"

"Albert, salute Mr. Leviathan!" said the dragon named Albert when he saluted Leviathan.

"How's Rai? Are you still sure you can beat Albert?" leviathan asked with high confidence.

"Oh, what a coincidence! I have something like that!" Rai raised his right hand upwards following the movement Leviathan had made earlier.

"Jinlong, out!"

Wuush...

A golden light suddenly emerged from Rai's palm and instantly fused into a golden scaly dragon.

"What's wrong? Why did you—" Jinlong stopped his words when his gaze turned to Albert.

"No way!"

"It... No way! You are..."

"Underworld Dragons!"

"Golden Dragon!"
