(Arc 2: New Adventure, Begins!) Chapter 33: Kiyomizu Clan Residence

Rai jumped from branch to branch nimblely. He was now on his way to Lightning Stone village to retrace the residence of the Kiyomizu clan.

Using his celestial lightning element, Rai moved swiftly towards the residence of the Kiyomizu clan which he thought held many mysteries.

Starting from the demon agreement that was once reported by Rai's shadow body, then the mystery of the Kiyomizu clan massacre, to the alleged mother Rin who is the forty-ninth pure descendant of the Ice Dragon.

"Rai, what exactly are you looking for in that Kiyomizu clan residence?" asked Raiden from inside the Soul Room after seeing the look of a serious face that Rai put on throughout the journey.

"I'll just investigate! But, I sense that there are some precious treasures that are suitable for me and that Dark Tiger! In addition, I also seemed to have a sign that there was someone in the collapsed residence, even though the condition was not in good condition!" answer Rai at length.

"Hm... You right! I had also sensed the presence of two Ice Dragon auras from that place! But now there was only one aura left! Meanwhile, one other aura had disappeared somewhere!" said Raiden who had felt the aura of the Ice Dragon.

A white-haired woman with red eyes and wearing a red hooded robe, was pattering the interior of the collapsed Kiyomizu clan residence.

The woman continued walking while occasionally touching or pressing against the walls and floor of the Kiyomizu clan residence. After a few minutes of searching, the woman finally found a door with an intricate formation key.

The woman, then, pulled out a plaque that read 'Kiyomizu' from under her hood and placed it on the door.

Wuungdo... Wuungdo...

The door suddenly shook and let out a hum after the woman placed the plaque she was carrying.

Kriek's...

Soon, the door opened while making a special sound of a worn out door. The woman immediately went in to descend the stairs leading to a basement.

It takes a few minutes to get to the basement, because of the many stairs that need to be passed.

A heart-shaped onyx floated within a small protective formation. With a quick move, the woman made an elaborate hand seal and ended up with a tread attack containing evil energy or commonly called demonic energy.

Demonic energy was an energy possessed by all demon races without exception. This energy came from darkness energy with death energy mixed into one and produced this demonic energy.

Demonic energy has destructive properties that damage and is able to corrode all objects if it comes into contact with it. Let alone touch, exposed to the shockwave alone, capable of making all living or dead beings destroyed within a radius of sixteen miles.

The small protective formation was shattered instantly after being exposed to the demonic energy that the woman emitted. Without further ado, the woman directly picked up the heart-shaped onyx stone in one fell swoop.

"Haha... I finally got one of the 'Demon King Inheritance'! The Demon Heart Artifact!" said the woman excitedly and then kept the Demon Heart artifact under her hood.

"Now look at the old woman!" the woman muttered then walked into a hallway connecting the room with the rest of the room.

It didn't take long for the woman to get to the other room. Because the length of the hallway is short and with the speed of the woman who is above average, making it able to move the room in just seconds.

When the woman arrived in the other room, a lunge came from a woman with wrinkled skin and chained hands.

He strangled the white-haired woman with all his might. But, the strangulation that the old woman had done, was just like nothing to the white-haired woman.

"Let go of my son! You lowly demon!" shouted the old woman.

"Curtain, get your wrinkled hands off my body!" reply the white-haired woman then rebuked the old woman until she fell down.

Bruck...

"Basan of lowly demons! How dare you control my son!" the old woman shouted before attacking the white-haired woman again.

"Energy of Demons!"

Swush...

The old woman suddenly cried out in pain after her body was exposed to the demonic energy released by the white-haired woman.

"Weak!" said the white-haired woman and pulled out a rapier sword from under her hood, "You better die!"

The white-haired woman took a swing to stab the old woman. However, his movements suddenly stopped when the voice of a middle-aged man sounded in his ears.

"Stop! Don't kill that woman! We don't have much time! We'd better get out of here before that guy finds us!" the voice of the old man suddenly sounded in the white haired woman's ears.

"Huh, you survived this time, old lady!" said the white-haired woman before disappearing from her place.

"You fucking cunt! Aarrgghhh!!! Mi-miyuki's... T-please help me!" pinta the old woman stammered with pain.

Swosh's... Krataks... Krataks...

Suddenly, an extremely cold aura emerged from within the old woman. The colder it was, the old woman slowly froze to the point of being covered in hard ice.

Krataks... Pyaarr...

After a few minutes, the ice covering the old woman's body broke into pieces and revealed a woman with a age of thirty-six years.

"Well... It was fortunate that I had managed to absorb the remaining pieces of Miyuki's soul before it was contaminated by the evil soul of that demon!" muttered the woman.

"Oh, yes! Miyuki, has that man arrived here?" ask the woman.

"So soon she'll be there!" miyuki said that was none other than Ice Dragon.

"All right! Then, we should welcome him!" the woman said and walked out of the basement.

Outside the Kiyomizu clan residence,

Rai stopped right in front of the residence of the Kiyomizu clan that collapsed after traveling for approximately an hour.

As soon as he arrived, Rai immediately pulled out his katana sword just in case and prepared to enter the residence. Yet...

Two women suddenly appeared from inside the residence. The two people were none other than Miyuki, the Ice Dragon who had currently changed into a blue-haired beautiful human and the woman who had transformed into younger than before.

"Who are you?" asked Rai while pointing the tip of his sword blade at the two women.

"I'm Miyuki! The human form of the Ice Dragon!" answer Miyuki.

"So, you're the Ice Dragon?" rai asked Miyuki who was immediately replied with a nod by him.

"Then, you...?"

"I am Yuki Kiyomizu, the mother of Rin Kiyomizu!" yuki said while slightly bowing her body.

"Oh, so you're Rin's mother?" asked Rai while sheathing back her sword.

"Right, I'm Rin's mother! Do you know him?" yuki asked after returning to stand up straight.

"Yes, I know him!" answer Rai casually.

"Looking at your and Miyuki's behavior, it seems like you already know about my purpose here!" said Rai.

"True, we already know about the purpose of your arrival here!" answer Miyuki.

"So, we better get to the point, huh? Please tell me the history of the demon pact by the Kiyomizu clan ancestor, then the treasures as well as the artifacts related to it!" rai said seriously.
