Chapter 5: The Poison Serpent of Hell

After traveling for twenty minutes, Rai finally arrived in front of the cave which was the lair of the Hell Poison Serpent. Just like before, Rai chose to lurk first in order to know the opponent's strength.

However, during the fifteen minutes of lurking, Rai found nothing but the snoring of the Hellish Poison Snake itself.

'That's sleeping? But, how is it possible? When I got there, I could still feel his aura. What don't-don't?' batin Rai's.

Rai smiled for a moment before taking out the Holy Ice Sword from his storage ring and taking out another ordinary sword from the storage ring of the bandits.

Then, very quickly Rai entered the cave. Because of the rapid movement, no one will know that Rai has been on the head of the Hell's Poison Serpent and is preparing to sink his sword.

"Blowout Ice Freezer!" said Rai.

After Rai said that stance, an intense ice aura instantly felt. That aura also made the blade of the Holy Ice Sword get bigger and bigger. Not only that, the aura coming out of the Holy Ice Sword was also extremely cold. If anyone else was there, it was certain that his body would freeze.

Rai was preparing to sink his sword after the ice aura coming out of the Holy Ice Sword was already enormous. Now he was preparing to throw his sword.

The Holy Ice Sword that Rai had glided around almost hit the head of the Hell Poison Snake. Once close enough, an extremely powerful ice aura burst occurred and caused a puff of smoke to soar high.

Rai landed again near the cave wall. But his face was still very serious. A moment later the puff of smoke had slowly faded away and the Holy Ice Sword returned into Rai's grasp.

He then flowed his natural element of the ordinary sword he was carrying. The sword was instantly engulfed by purple lightning and gave off an extremely powerful aura.

Without further ado, Rai darted towards the Hell's Poison Serpent again while saying a move, "Series of Lightning Explosions!"

Immediately, Rai swung his lightning sword parallel to the body of the Hell Poison Serpent. The slash was accompanied by a barrage of explosions hitting the body of the Hell Poison Serpent.

"Now is the time!" shout Rai.

Suddenly from within the puff of smoke the result of the explosion earlier, appeared a person grasping the Sky Lightning Sword while muttering a stance.

"Little Dragon Fierc! Level 1: Purple Dragon Slash!" say that figure.

The Sky Lightning Sword shone brightly for a moment before it appeared a purple-coloured lightning dragon wrapped around its blade. The figure swung the Sky Lightning Sword towards the Hell Poison Snake.

The lightning dragon that wrapped around the Sky Lightning Sword, instantly took off its twists and charged forward towards the Hell Poison Snake while shouting loudly.

GROOOAAAH...

BOOOOMM...

The explosion occurred when the lightning dragon smashed into the body of the Hell Poison Serpent. Smoke covered the view. However, after the puff of smoke disappeared, it still appeared to be the figure of the Hell Poison Serpent suffering from injuries all over its body.

"Heh, I've guessed. The poison within him was still stronger than the attack earlier. Looks like I should use the second level of the Lightning Dragon Slash," Rai muttered.

"Back!" continued.

Then, the figure that was carrying the Sky Lightning Sword earlier, had suddenly appeared beside Rai. He then reinserted the ordinary sword taken from the storage ring of the bandits and retrieved the Sky Lightning Sword from the figure.

Rai flicked his finger and the instant the figure had disappeared, "The first plan, is done! Time to go for the second plan!" rai Gumam.

The Hell Poison Snake sizzled. He turned his head towards Rai and started spitting out the poison. Rai managed to dodge right before the poison hit him.

"It deserves to be called the Poison Serpent of Hell. Because the poison is so hot and boiling. Lucky I was able to avoid it," Rai muttered after seeing the place was standing and began to eat poison.

Rai darted rapidly towards the Hell Poison Serpent. He then slashed the Sky Lightning Sword onto the head of the Hell Poison Snake. Yet...

Tringg...

Sounds like iron clangs. The sound came from the clash between the Sky Lightning Sword and the violent head of the Hell Poison Snake.

"As I thought. The scales on his head are harder than the scales on his body" Rai murmured.

He was about to jump to perform a follow-up attack. Until suddenly the Hell Poison Serpent shook its head and almost hit the cave wall. Rai had lost his balance and almost fell down when the Hell Poison Snake shook its head.

But, Rai managed to remain standing after freezing his feet above the head of the Hell Poison Snake.

"I must look for an opportunity to be able to perform level 2 of the Lightning Dragon Slash!" rai Gumam.

Rai then removed his feet from the ice and jumped high up and landed on the roof of the cave. He sheathed the Sky Lightning Sword and grasped the Holy Ice Sword with two hands.

"I have to do it even if it's not perfect!" rai Gumam.

Rai then threw the Holy Ice Sword right beside the body of the Hell Poison Snake. Suddenly, a room was created, the walls of which were made of ice and encased the body of the Hell's Poison Serpent. Instantly, the movements made by the Hell Poison Serpent came to a halt. His body did not move as it froze.

Rai then landed and jumped right beside the Holy Ice Sword, 'I wouldn't be able to use the Thousand Lightning Sword skill if it hadn't reached Immortal King level!' batin Rai's.

"alright. Feel this! Killer Lightning Rays!" said Rai.

He then swung the Sky Lightning Sword towards the ice wall. From that slash, a sword light flashed through the lightning and entered the ice wall. After that, Rai stuck out his left hand while saying a gesture.

"Muro de Hielo! Reflejar!" said it. The ice wall shone brightly for a moment before dimming back.

Meanwhile inside the ice wall, the Hell Poison Serpent was trying to destroy the ice wall that locked him up with his hellish poison. However, not until the ice wall was destroyed did a purple-colored lightning light enter the ice wall and begin to attack the Hell Poison Snake.

The Hell Poison Snake had thought that if he avoided it, then the attack would instantly be annihilated just like a regular attack.

But, unfortunately, that didn't happen. Because the lightning light was constantly bouncing on the cave walls and attacking the Hell Poison Snake to make it difficult to avoid the attack. Till...

The Hell Poison Snake cried out in pain after its tail was broken from being hit by the lightning light. Now he hoped that the attack would completely stop. But, it didn't happen. Because the lightning light just now continued to scrape his scales and slowly cut through his flesh.

After being content to torture the Hell Poison Serpent for thirty minutes, Rai finally stopped and smashed the ice wall before him.

After the ice wall disappeared, it appeared that the Hell Poison Snake was drooping limp. His body was full of blood. In fact, his body continued to bleed from the back of his body after his tail broke off.

"Now it's time to end! Lightning Dragon Slash! Level 2: Lightning Sky Dragon Slash!" said Rai.

Then, the Sky Lightning Sword shone brightly as it continued to emit sky lightning. That sky lightning continued to give off a powerful aura and made the entire cave tremble.

After the Sky Lightning Sword stopped emitting sky lightning, Rai instantly slashed his sword towards the head of the Hell Poison Snake. The slash created a purple lightning glow that formed a dragon and continued to charge towards the Hellish Poison Serpent.

BOOOOMM...

Big explosions happen. Although the attack was at first glance similar to a level 1 stance, but the attack had a stronger destructive power. Because the attack came from the sky lightning which incidentally was stronger than ordinary lightning.

Even so, level 2 attacks consume more natural energy. Especially if combined with the Illusion of Ice, the natural energy that must be expended is also more.

After finishing taking the Soul Crystal and some parts of the body of the Hell Poison Snake, Rai returned to the cave where Raiden lived.

"I used the Ice Illusion skill and the second level of the Lightning Dragon Slash," Rai continued.
