Chapter 49: Mysterious Dimension 3

In the cave of the lair of King White Gorilla,

"Phew... Finally finished. Let me see, what level is my cultivation at?" muttered Rai after coming out of the Soul Room.

Swosh's... Clangs... Clangs...

A sound like the mechanism of a moving machine, emerged from within Rai's body. Followed by the appearance of a purple-colored inscription with a lightning image inside.

Rai looked at the silhouette of the inscription for a moment carefully. He then turned his lips when he knew his cultivation had increased to the Legend-stage Semi-God level.

"Yosh, just a little more! It's not too dark yet! I have to gather some more resources to help me break through!" said Rai optimistically along with the disappearance of the inscription silhouette.

"You've healed yourself, Zhao Jiang?" rai asked for a moment after glancing at Zhao Jiang who was sitting relaxing.

"It's over!" zhao Jiang replied kindly, "Rai, you once said that I should help you! What kind of help do you mean?"

"Oh, that! Do you like Zhao Yan?" asked Rai who instantly made Zhao Jiang's face redden.

"I-it's... Yeah, I like it!" zhao Jiang replied as he turned his face away.

"Then, will you keep her away from me? I'm sick of being followed by him all the time!" rai explained.

Zhao Jiang was surprised. He did not expect that there was someone who did not like to be followed by a beautiful angel like Zhao Yan.

"Keep her away from you?"

"Yes! You'll be in our group! Once out of this dimension, you do whatever you want! If you truly love her, then express your love! If not, you can hold on to your love for her!" tukas Rai at length.

"Yes-yes! Then, when do we leave?"

"We can go now! Raiden will follow!"

Rai then got up from his seat and immediately grabbed Zhao Jiang's hand. With a stream of sky lightning, Rai darted through the shady trees that were there.

After a short journey, Rai and Zhao Jiang finally arrived in front of the White Ice Yeti nest cave currently occupied by Rin, Miyuki and Zhao Yan.

As soon as he landed, Rai instantly sensed an unstable monstrous aura. He also felt Miyuki's aura begin to weaken.

"Great!"

Gaining a hunch that this was not a good thing, Rai just ran over anxiously and left the confused Zhao Jiang looking for Rai.

Shortly after Rai entered the cave, Raiden appeared with a stale look due to being left alone by Rai and Zhao Jiang. However, his sense of resentment instantly disappeared as he sensed a dangerous aura from within the cave.

With quick steps, Raiden dashed into the cave and left Zhao Jiang. Confused by the actions of his two rescuers, Zhao Jiang decided to enter the cave.

Once inside the cave, Zhao Jiang was immediately presented with an aerial fight between Rai and Rin. While below, Raiden is trying to save Miyuki from the battle area.

Shifting to the upper part of the plain, Zhao Jiang again made a surprise instead of playing. How not? The person he loved most lay helpless up there.

"Zhao Yan!" Zhao Jiang immediately approached Zhao Yan with an anxious look on his face.

"Zhao Yan, hang on! I'll cure you!" zhao Jiang said as he performed first aid.

The first aid Zhao Jiang had made Zhao Yan's state a little better than before.

"Phew... Fortunately, Zhao Yan was simply exhausted!" murmured Zhao Jiang relieved.

Raiden landed next to Zhao Jiang with Miyuki's body worse than Zhao Yan's.

"Raiden... What the hell is going on?" asked Zhao Jiang.

"Better you don't know! Because this is not the business of strangers like you!" answer Raiden coldly.

Zhao Jiang was a little unhappy about Raiden's reply. But he realized that he was indeed a stranger who accidentally met them.

"Zhao Jiang, please take care of Miyuki! I'll help Rai!" pinta Raiden before leaving to help Rai without hearing the reply from Zhao Jiang.

"Rin, awake! I don't want to hurt you!" said Rai in a pleading tone.

"RAHHHHH!!!"

Rin shouted furiously like a monstrous monster. Attacking Rai with a fist after fist that made Rai forced to defend. Until finally Rai bounced up to hit the cave wall and made him vomit a mouthful of fresh blood.

"Uhukis... Uhuk... Damn, Rin is too wild! Ordinary means would not be able to defeat him!" rai muttered as he wiped the blood on the corner of his lips.

"Tie! Do you need any help?" ask Raiden who just came.

Raiden nodded and Seger prepared the long-range attack he had. While Rai flew over Rin's body with the level 2 God's Eye technique he activated.

"Gerrr... GRAAAHHH!!!"

Rin who was feeling uneasy, immediately took the initiative to attack. Using the energy sword he created, Rin attacked Rai who was within his attack range.

Slashwas...

A slash of energy swiftly shot towards the neck of Rai. However, the attack was successfully avoided by Rai with a relaxed movement.

Zrach...

Rai who was still looking calm, suddenly surprised by the blood that appeared on his neck due to the wind gusts of Rin's attack earlier.

"Pretty good, Rin! But, I'm quite surprised! Why are you suddenly so strong when you're out of control?" Rai said in a satirical tone that managed to get Rin hooked on his emotions.

"Grah... Accept this, fucking man!" Rin, who was already emotional, prepared to attack Rai using his energy sword.

Suddenly, Rin's body freezes. His entire body could not be moved, except for his eyeballs. And when Rin tries to move her head, her body suddenly feels a lightning sting that produces excruciating pain.

"W-what happened?" ask Rin in a stammer.

Without answering Rin's question, Rai approached Rin's stiff body in the air. A smile was clearly on his face.

"It's time you regained consciousness, Rin!" rai said as he touched Rin's chin.

Rai then touched Rin's forehead using her index and middle fingers while muttering something, "The Illusion of Fog Memories!"

After Rai said those words, all of a sudden Rin's eyes went blank and her irises turned gray.

Rai tapped on Rin's forehead once more and appeared a screen containing numbers. He then set the number to 1000 before eliminating it.

"Done," Rai murmured softly.

"What did you do to him, Rai?" ask Raiden who is flying closer.

"I trapped him in an illusion! This illusion was related to the memory that appeared in his head earlier!" answer Rai.

"So, you forced her to look at her past memories so she could control herself, did you?" ask Raiden to make sure.

"Yup! Damn right! I also set the time to 1000 days! Where it's equal to 1 day here!" it was clearly Rai who made Raiden frown.

"Isn't that too long for him and for us?" asked Raiden in a protest.

"We can hunt or search for other resources while we wait! After all, there are Miyuki and the others here!" said Rai relaxed as he moved away from where he stood.

"Where are you going now?" ask Raiden a few times.

"I want to find resources and cultivate! I'll be back in 7 days!" rai replied before leaving the cave.

7 Days later, though,

Raiden, Miyuki, Rin, Zhao Yan and Zhao Jiang had completed their training. Rin successfully increased his cultivation to Mortal King stage Master. So did Zhao Yan and Zhao Jiang who had managed to break through to the next level.

While Miyuki, she could only increase her cultivation from Holy Emperor stage Grand Master to Semi-God stage Junior. Similarly, Raiden managed to increase his cultivation to Junior Semi-God stage.

Now they are preparing to come out of the mysterious dimension. Just waiting for Rai who reportedly will come soon.

"Rin and the others, you can move first! I'll wait for Rai here!" said Raiden who was replied with a nod by everyone.

Shortly after, Rin and the others left the cave. Just a few minutes later, Rai appeared beside Raiden in a blue robe.

"What's wrong?" ask Raiden who already knows what Rai's goal is.

"Raiden, I need you to accompany me to Dragonland!" said Rai who made Raiden's face more serious.

"The portal to Dragonland will reopen in a few days! Whereas, your cultivation is still a Legend-stage Semi-God!" Raiden turned his face towards Rai. The look in his eyes showed that he was in serious fashion.

"Are you sure, Raiden?" rai asked with a smile engraved on his face.

Raiden raised one of his eyebrows, confused by Rai's words. Looking at the puzzled Raiden, Rai then showed his entire cultivation that had reached the Senior stage God level.

Seeing Rai's cultivation achievements, Raiden was surprised instead of playing. Because, just a week ago Rai cultivation had only reached the Semi-God Legend stage. However, now Rai appeared before him with a rapidly increasing cultivation.

"It-it's... How did you do it, Rai?" asked Raiden with wide eyes.

"I just absorbed the resources as usual! Merely, the first time it hunted, the duration of the Natural Ginseng Generation was still there! So, I made use of it by absorbing various Soul Crystals from the powerful Hell Beast!" clearly Rai is at length.

After that brief conversation, Rai and Raiden immediately came out of the mysterious dimension and headed straight for the location of the Dragonland portal. Not forgetting Rai sent a message to Rin to bring Yuki and Miyuki back to the Lightning Dragon sect and stay there for a while until she returned.

As for Jinlong and Theron, Rai tells them to immediately complete the task he gave in order to keep Rin and the others until he returns.
