Chapter 40: Loss of Half of Rin's Memory

"Ugh..." Rin woke up from her stupor holding her aching head. At that time, the day had changed by morning. The atmosphere in the room was quiet and silent, as everyone went to carry out their respective activities.

"Why does my head hurt so much? And what am I doing here?" ask Rin in a daze. He could not remember what happened to him and what chaos he caused.

After the headache began to gradually disappear, Rin immediately came down from the bed and went straight from Behrooz's house to the river that was not far from the house.

Rin walks leisurely on her way to the river. He chose to enjoy the chirping of birds and the refreshing breeze.

Upon arriving at the river, Rin immediately sat on a large rock while enjoying the fresh air that hit his face. He forgot for a moment all the problems in his mind.

"A quiet and peaceful atmosphere! When was the last time I felt this, huh?" Rin gumam.

Soon Rai took out a set of noble-style clothes in black as well as a robe in purple.

Yuki advanced towards Rin, while Rai stepped aside towards the dining table. Then, Yuki touched her daughter's face with a glare. Rin, who was confused, could only look into the eyes of the foreign woman in front of him.

When Rin looks into the eyes of the woman in front of him, Rin suddenly feels a memory entering his mind.

Starting from the cry of a baby, a fight between two people, the death of a person, an ice dragon, bad people, a residence with a plate that reads "KIYOMIZU", family slaughter, and, the collapse of the residence and the escape of a small child from the massacre of his family.

"What did you say? You don't see Rin's situation? He just woke up and now he's passed out again! Not to mention the potential memory loss he could have received!" yelling Miyuki back makes Rai and Raiden stop eating.

"Well... Miyuki, can you shut up? You're interrupting our meal time!" raiden replied with annoyance.

"Raiden, I know your nature doesn't care about anyone else! But, can't you lose that trait for a moment?" Miyuki.

"And Rai! I seem to have put too high of a hope on you! I can't believe you were so relaxed when I found out Rin was unconscious!" miyuki snapped to Rai.

"Miyuki, enough! Can't you just shut up for now? You're interrupting our meal time! Can't you just relax a little?" reply Raiden in a high voice.

"You can talk like this at a time like this! Can't—"

"ENOUGH!!!" rai snapped while giving off his aura of intimidation.

Miyuki immediately stared at Rai. He gave off an aura of his intimidation that was able to suppress Rai's aura.

"Rai, if you dare to do anything, then you'll—" Miyuki's not done talking, a sharp object is already in front of her neck.

Simultaneously, Rai suddenly appeared behind Miyuki with a sinister look on his face.

"Miyuki, if you can't stay still, then this sword will cut your neck!" whispered Rai with a creepy voice.

"M-want what are you? I'm the Ice Dragon!" reply Miyuki with a frightened look.

"Even if you're an Ice Dragon, I won't hesitate to kill you as long as I can! These memories usually include family, close friends or dark events that have happened to him!" obviously Rai after sipping his tea.

"This condition is usually only suffered by people who have amnesia, Alzheimer's and Dementia! However, there are some cases where the sufferer does not experience one of the three diseases!" continued.

"This "Lost of Past Memories condition, can last forever in people suffering from Alzheimer's disease and Dementia! However, some survive for only a few years in some people with amnesia and Dementia!" tukas Rai's.
