Chapter 2: Fighting the Black Fire Monkey

After sitting cross-legged, Rai directly took out the Dragon Crystal before him then began absorption.

A huge natural energy instantly shot out from that crystal. However, this natural energy was not just any natural energy. Because the natural energy emitted by the Dragon Crystal was healing energy. This energy can treat all kinds of diseases. Not only that, this energy was also capable of refining chaotic meridians. Therefore, this healing energy was also extremely rare and hard to find.

While Rai is absorbing, Raiden is also channeling his natural energy to aid in absorption.

The absorption done by Rai was finally completed after one week. He opened his eyes and tried to move the injured part of his body.

"Thank you," said Rai then put all of it into his storage ring, except for the sword with the white blade.

After exiting the cave, Rai then searched the lair of the Hell Beast. After finding it, he immediately moved towards the nest in question.

When it was almost nested by the Hell Beast, Rai decided to scout first to find out the opponent's abilities.

For 15 minutes he lurked, the result of the Hell Beast living in the nest was the Black Fire Monkey or Black Fire Monkey.

Now there is only one Black Fire Monkey left who is none other than the leader of the monkey herd.

Rai just smiled then disappeared from where he stood. The black fireball that the Black Fire Monkey had previously thrown landed right where Rai was standing before. The black fireball did not cause a huge explosion, but the black fireball inflicted severe damage.

The place that was hit by the black fireball became hollow. But, the darkness element contained in the fireball made the hole in the ground even bigger and deeper. Because of that, Rai is grateful for being able to more swiftly avoid attacks.

"Damn it, he is on par with a Senior stage Immortal Warrior level cultivator. It will be a little troublesome" Rai murmured.

He then moved quickly towards the monkey. Then followed by quick slashes done Rai. However, all those slashes seemed insignificant to the leader of the Black Fire Monkey, as he had the protection of his fur made from black flames.

"Not working with ordinary slashes, huh? All right, now feel this style that I created myself," said Rai then began to take the horses of the attack.

"Eightteen Lightning God Slashes!" said Rai mentioned a style.

After that, Rai slashed his sword eighteen times. Then, those eighteen slashes shot towards the Black Fire Monkey.

Duarr... Duarr... Baammite...

"Groooaaahhh.." cried the Black Fire Monkey in pain.

Not stopping at one move, Rai then muttered another move, "The next step. Ice Field, activate!"

Suddenly, the ground they were treading on turned into ice. Rai then ran towards the Black Fire Monkey that had fallen after slipping through the Ice Field.

"It's time to end this. Lightning Slash Lifesaving!" said it.

The sword that Rai was carrying, suddenly released an enormous lightning energy. Simultaneously, Rai swung his sword very quickly towards the Black Fire Monkey.

The slash was so fast that it could not be followed by the eyes. However, that slash was also extremely dangerous, as the body of the Black Fire Monkey split into two after being hit by that slash.

"Finally it's done as well" said Rai then put his sword back into the barrel behind his back.

"It's time to take the treasure," he said then took all of the Soul Crystals belonging to the Black Fire Monkey.
