Chapter 56: Spirit Night Dragon

After finishing cultivating, Rai immediately walked out of his cultivation room. Outside the room, there were 2 men waiting for Rai.

"How do you two cultivate? Any upgrades?" ask Rai.

"I've been at the Senior stage God level," Raiden replied.

"I'm only up to Holy Emperor Beginner stage," Alvarez replied.

"Follow me!" Raiden walks towards somewhere followed by Rai and Alvarez.

Arriving at the destination, Raiden stopped. Look two pieces of a magic pond that is large enough with clear water. In the center of each pond was a giant lotus flower that could be occupied by one person.

"What is this place?" alvarez asked with a dumbstruck look.

"This is a pool of consciousness. This pool will show your true strength by testing your soul" Raiden explained.

Rai and Alvarez nodded in understanding. Now they looked at the two ponds with different eyes.

"Well, maybe it's the right time for you to start rather than just looking at him" Raiden said, drawing Rai and Alvarez from each other's worlds.

With a single leap, Rai and Alvarez sat on top of a giant lotus in each of the ponds. They take a cross-legged sitting position and begin to concentrate their concentration.

The black dragon roared very loudly. His eyeballs looked at Alvarez sharply. The black dragon then descended slowly towards Alvarez.

"Who are you, young man?" ask the black dragon.

"I am Alvarez. A Demon Hunter," replied Alvarez.

"A Demon Hunter?" the black dragon looked at Alvarez's body from head to toe and then laughed, "A geeky kid like you became a Demon Hunter? Very funny, hahahaha....."

"Don't you underestimate me. I respect you because you are a dragon race. But don't think I'm weak" Alvarez said.

"Oh, that? Then, let's fight," said the black dragon and turned his body into a human.

"If you can hurt me, you'll I'll think of as a Demon Hunter and will get a reward from me" continued the black dragon.

"All right, I'm ready!" alvarez said as he pulled out his greatsword from the storage ring.

Alvarez took the first initiative to attack. He swung his sword diagonally, but it could still be held back by the black dragon.

He got up slowly and put on an angry face. Before long, the aura around him began to change.

A heavier and stronger aura, suddenly emerged from Alvarez's body. His eyeballs glowed emitting a dazzling white color. His body floated up followed by the elongation of his hair which also turned black.

"Baunt King Mode!" alvarez said with his voice turning heavier.

The black dragon who saw Alvarez change began to be attracted by his new power, "Ho, a fashion, huh? It's starting to pull."

Alvarez charged forward towards the black dragon with clenched hands. A punch he launched into the chest of the black dragon with great force. But it can still be countered by a black dragon.

Knowing his attack had failed, Alvarez again launched several attacks. Not only punch, he also launched several kicks that managed to make the black dragon bounce.

"Thank you" replied Alvarez.

The black dragon then touched Alvarez's forehead using 2 fingers, then drained his energy into Alvarez's forehead. Alvarez's view became blurry. But when he almost blinked his eyes, he saw a black dragon and suddenly remembered a name.

"Night Dragon."
