Jessy's body fell to the ground when she saw the flat object in her hand. There are two red lines. Jessy's hands were shaking. He gripped that thing tightly.
A memory suddenly turned back. Memories of his conversation with Kent at the cafe last month.
"You may get pregnant."
Like being hit by a reality she didn't want to believe, Jessy's body shuddered. Everything is moving in an unexpected direction.
Jessy refused to believe it. There was another life in his body. She pregnant. She's pregnant with Kent's son.
Since the monthly guests who come are not routine, Jessy is indifferent. He never thought about when his fertile days would be. Upon realizing that she is pregnant, Jessy regrets her stupidity.
Kent's accusation, which he says is not fundamental, cannot now be ignored. Kent's right, Jessy's pregnant. So what should he do.
Fill the head Jessy blank.
"Jessy you're inside? Did something happen?" The sound of knocking on the door sounded. The person outside was Juna.
"Yes, um." Answer Jessy slowly.
"How long inside? You why?" Juna's voice grew anxious.
The bathroom door is open. Jessy came out with her head down.
"Jess says Yolanda you're sick. You're not papa?" Juna's question immediately ambushed Jessy.
"Jessy..." Juna grabbed Jessy's cheek and then lifted her up. Her eyes widened as she looked at the tears that had broken from Jessy's eyes.
"Mas I'm pregnant." There was bitterness left at the tip of Jessy's tongue.
Juna was silent. It took her a few seconds to process Jessy's words. As soon as she heard Jessy's broken cry, Juna pulled Jessy's trembling body into her arms.
"Father Jess, what can you do?" Juna stroked Jessy's back.
Jessy shook her head quickly in Juna's arms. He himself was confused as to what he should do.
"I hate that guy, why he keeps hurting me. What's wrong with Jessy. Though Jessy was away, but she kept coming." Jessy said. Water drenched his entire cheek. He wept over the fate that befell him.
After a long cry Jessy finally fell asleep in Juna's arms. His breathing sounds heavy.
Juna wiped Jessy's wet face with tissue. Heart's sinking. Especially now. It's not the fact Jessy was pregnant that teased her, but how Jessy's fate after this. The child in Jessy's stomach must have a father.
Juna's head throbbed pain. He untied his tight tie then threw it on the floor.
There was one name that flashed quickly in his mind, Kent Sadewa. The one who seems to be responsible for all this mess.
But Juna did not want to act rashly. All decisions are in Jessy's hands. Juna will follow what Jessy will do. Because Jessy's gonna live it not her. Its Jessy life not him.
Juna remained by Jessy's side until morning. She slept on Jessy's couch. Worried about something that could happen. Luckily Jessy slept quietly. But the morning when he opened his eyes everything was not okay.
Jessy wasn't in her bed. Juna searched all the rooms not there. She calls Jessy but there is no answer. Juna also contacted Jessy's phone but it rang not far from her.
Jessy left her phone. The flat thing was on his bed. Panicked too. Jessy can't be found anywhere. He immediately snatched the phone and then contacted anyone on Jessy's contact list.
Juna's shoulders slumped. She was afraid Jessy was acting recklessly.
The person being sought is somewhere. He walked gontai entering a lobby that was no stranger to him. It was early morning and there was no significant activity.
"Is there anything we can help you with?" A receptionist approached Jessy who stood dumbstruck in the lobby of Royal Corp Jakarta.
"Have you made a promise before?"
Jessy nodded quickly.
"Sir Kent doesn't seem to be here yet Mother, please sit down first we'll confirm first."
"Say Jessica Jayanegara is looking for her."
The officer nodded then left Jessy alone.
Jessy looked around. Last night he thought a lot. Crying without stopping. He finally came to a conclusion. He's got to meet Kent.
After a while of waiting, Jessy was escorted by the officer to Kent's room. He was welcome to enter even though there was no one inside.
Jessy took a seat on the comfortable sofa. Looks very comfortable. When occupied, the sofa drowned Jessy's body. Back relax.
Jessy closed her eyes and opened them again. His headache did not go away. He did not care about his current appearance. He was wearing a white t-shirt and a mere foot-loose skirt. He even left without his cell phone.
'Definitely horrible.' Jessy muttered in her heart.
He breathed a rough breath. Jessy leaned her head against the sofa. His eyes stared straight at the ceiling above him. As his mind flew everywhere, there was the sound of the door opening.
"Jessy..." A soft voice sounded. Jessy looked up and then got up.
Kent stood not far from her, wearing casual clothes instead of a neat shirt or suit.
"Why come without contacting? Did something happen?" Kent asked walking over.
Jessy was silently pecking. Seeing Kent's face somehow alleviated his headache. The warm feeling immediately spread throughout his body. Tears can no longer be contained. Jessy's crying broke.
"What happened Jess? What's up?" Kent panic. He immediately approached and brought Jessy into his arms.
"You must have intentionally done this? You hate me so much that you do this. Wicked! Wicked!" Jessy hit Kent's chest with all her strength. His voice was shaking from sobs.
"Yes I'm evil. You can hit as you please Jess but don't cry. Tell me what's going on? You didn't return any of my messages and came without telling." Kent pulled Jessy's body closer. Kissing the top of his head then stroking his back.
"I'm pregnant." Jessy's voice was stamped. His head was set in Kent's chest.
'I'm pregnant.' Kent doubted his own ears. Jessy's body trembled in her arms. He didn't hear wrong. That's what Jessy said.
"Pregnant? You pregnant?" Kent made sure of his low voice.
Jessy nodded. She's still crying.
Like watering ice in the middle of summer. Like finding an oasis in the desert. When it came to a dead end and there was no other way, a miracle suddenly came.
Kent's heart is full. A feeling of relief infiltrated his entire body. Her hand gritted Jessy's body into her arms.
Kent smiled meaningfully. His heart soared.
"We sit down first." Kent raised Jessy's body as light as a feather.
She sits on the sofa nearby with Jessy's body still in her arms.
"Jess don't cry anymore. You can vent your heart to the fullest. Hit me if it can ease your heart." Kent's voice softened. He was like persuading a sulking little boy.
