Only darkness is visible.
'Where am I?'
Sofia blinked her eyes repeatedly but only darkness was visible. His hands fumbled but found nothing but a cold floor.
He fainted after being harassed by Janetta. He should have been brought home to the mansion by Jordan. Sofia clearly remembered him running towards her.
Sofia cries and then faints. But when he opened his eyes there was only darkness, silence and desolation.
'Am I dreaming again?'
Sofia is almost lost for not having that nightmare after being rescued from Soltera. But if this is a dream there should be something she sees or she experiences. The situation right now is quite strange.
Goosebumps creep on Sofia's spine. The fear spread. Where and what happened no one knows. Sofia tries to toughen up from the anxiety that hit.
"Sofia, why aren't you awake?"
A voice suddenly surprised him. A very familiar low voice.
"Jordan. That's Jordan, isn't it? Jordan can hear me?"
Silent. It was dark and there was no answer. It seemed that at this moment his spirit was somehow trapped where and his body was yet unconscious.
"Is Sofia currently dreaming? Comeup. Don't close your eyes like this I'm afraid."
Sofia could not estimate his condition. How many days had he been unconscious. How to get out of this darkness. He kept hearing Jordan's voice. It seems Jordan was trying to get him to talk. But he didn't know how to convey his answer in order for Jordan to hear.
Eventually Sofia became accustomed to the darkness. His only hope was the voice Jordan had heard.
"Wives. My wife's. Sofia Hexalios's. How's it going? Why not wake up? Everyone is waiting for you. Don't you miss me?"
This time a sound was heard. The sound was muffled and vibrating. Sofia's heart fell. As long as he was born to be raised in the Barell mansion no one was worried about him. Hearing Jordan worry about him made his heart overcrowded. She cried. Her tears are spilling.
"Honey. Sofia. The sky is very clear today. Don't you like reading books in the park? Quickly awake. The flowers in the garden are blooming."
Soft tone sounded. Sofia's heart twisted. How can there be a guy like Jordan. Soft, attentive and affectionate. She's just a wife on paper but why does it look like she loves him. Sofia's confused.
"Sophia. Today is exactly a week you are unconscious. When are you gonna wake up? Don't worry me, hmm?"
Ah it's been a week apparently. From here Sofia can count her days.
"I have to go to Sofia's palace. Even though I am angry at the people who treated you badly there, I have to keep working, right? If you wake up will you prevent me from coming there? Immediately awake. I'm worried."
Sofia silence. Listen to Jordan's words. Because that's the only reason he's survived. He was always waiting for Jordan's voice to periodically come. But it didn't last long. Suddenly Jordan's voice never came again.
"Am I dead? No. gabe. No. gabe. Jordan, please say something. Jordan! There are still many things I haven't told you. Jordan help! Please don't give up. Jordan!" Sofia's voice roared.
The reason he was sure he was still alive was to hear Jordan's voice. If he doesn't hear Jordan's voice anymore does that mean he's dead? No. gabe. He has not wanted to part with Jordan. He has not expressed his feelings to her. Strong feelings for him.
"Jordan please. Please save you!" Sofia's sobs broke. His body shook violently. His small body collapsed to the floor. Sofia was overcome with a great fear.
Suddenly.
"Sophy." The voice was slow but clearly heard in Sofia's ears.
"Jordan!" Sofia lifted her body then shouted. "Where have you been? Why did it just come!" Further. In vain actually he shouted because only silence he could.
"I'm afraid Sofia. Why are you like this? Is this a new way to torture me? You slept longer than last time, didn't you? It's been a month. Why aren't you awake? I'm afraid you won't wake up again." The sound of sobs is heard.
Sofia gasps. Body stiffens. Jordan crying. Did ya? Like it's not real. His head became dizzy in the face of reality.
"Can you hear me? If you can please wake up. I'm afraid Sofia. Where are you now? What are you dreaming about? Why so long? Please take me. Don't leave me like this Sofia. I can't. I can't stand it. I ruined Sofia." The sound of crying grew louder and louder.
"Sofia. My soul. Heart heart. Sofia. Sofia I can't live without you. Sofia. Sofia I love you. Loves you so much. Hope you know that. I'm nothing without you. If you don't open your eyes again forever, I'll come with you. Why else would I live if I couldn't see you. Sofia I love you. Wake up! I beg Sofia!" The voice was getting drowned in sobs. A heartbreaking voice.
Tears unwittingly seeped from the corner of Sofia's eyes. Is that a confession? Jordan loved her? Jordan Hexalios's? Really? Since when?
Sofia's head is dizzy. His body collapsed instantly. The sobs he held for a while broke again. This time it was harder. She was crying out loud. Lamenting fate.
Jordan loves him. Jordan loved him. She loves him too, Sofia just realized that. He too late captures Jordan's love openly he shows in the form of action.
He blind. Her inner eyes were tightly closed to the fear of the future in her dreams so that she could not catch the subtle feelings of those closest to her.
In stupid. Completely stupid.
"Jordan is too. I love you too." The voice sounded weak as it muffled sobs.
For the first time Sofia cried like she had never cried before. Although living in the Barell mansion was difficult, Sofia did not cry. The life she went through in the Elderbar Palace was just as difficult, Sofia did not cry either.
But just by hearing someone's feelings for her and she was unable to answer them, Sofia cried. He wanted to wake up immediately and express his feelings directly to Jordan. He wants to live. I want to meet Jordan again.
"Mother?" Sounds heard from a distance.
"Will it be mom?"
Sofia lifted her heavy body then wiped her tears. Still trying to adjust his position while looking for the source of the sound.
Standing not far away from him was a young man he knew very well.
"Felix?"
"It's me mother."
The sound of running feet came closer. The little body of the boy fell into his lap. A small hand immediately grabbed her neck. He buried his face into Sofia's embrace.
"I heard mother's cries. That's why I came to save mom."
Sofia did not answer. Rigid body.
"Why can you be here?" The boy kept asking. Urgent voice to answer.
Sofia raised her hand then stroked the little boy's back.
"Felix?"
"Yes this mother is Felix."
Sofia's tears are back.
"I don't know why I'm here." Sofia answered with trembling lips.
"It's not time for you to come here yet." Felix's voice calms Sofia.
"I don't know how to get back."
"I'll help you get back." Felix let go of his embrace then looked up. He meets Sofia.
"But please take me also to the mother world. I want to be with my mom again this time."
Sofia blinked her eyes at Felix's sudden request.
"I'll wait here, no matter how long. Please take me to my mother's world. I love my mother." At the end of his voice shakes. The two small hands hugged Sofia's neck possessively.
"How, how?" Sofia opened her lips hesitantly.
"Only mother knows how. I'll help you get back but I have to promise you one thing."
Felix's possessive hug came off.
"What's that?"
"Mom should take me to mother's world when she comes again."
Felix's smile was very bright.
"Mom promised, huh?"
Felix looks like someone. The very person Sofia knew. His insistent and stubborn nature resembled Jordan.
"Well if that's what you want." Not understanding what she said herself Sofia chose to nod in order to calm Felix down.
Like Jordan who seems to have to get what he wants.
"Thank you mom." A kiss landed on Sofia's cheek.
"Now close your eyes."
Not given time to respond, Felix's hand covered Sofia's eyes. Sofia closed her eyes. The arrival of the little hand spread. Fragrant fragrance piercing Sofia's nose.
"When you meet again mother."
As Sofia opened her eyes again, the scene she saw was different. Not the darkness nor the light and Felix. The room with a little light.
The taste is fragrant and not foreign. Sofia spread her gaze. There's no one.
'Did I come back?'
