"Can you walk?"
Seokyung nodded.
"Thank you." Said slowly. He's sitting. Waiting for Hwan to leave her. Seokyung pressed all the questions she wanted to ask. But he gave up. It seems like their agreement will not work. If in this week the situation remains the same Seokyung will cancel their agreement and instead he has to slam the bones to return the money that Sora has given.
Imagining working without rest in plain sight made Seokyung shudder in horror. Or he could sell his body to someone else.
'Oh my God what I think.' Shouts in the heart.
Everything was wrong from the beginning. That crazy deal. Sora and Hwan are both crazy for making that idea. It was even crazier that Seokyung accepted their crazy idea. After all he and Sora were family. Wrongfully. Everything's wrong. Before it was too late, Seokyung wanted to end their agreement.
"Sir Kang have you been avoiding me for one week?" Seokyung asked open.
Hwan gasp. It was like he was captured alive.
"I don't think all this is gonna work. I want to break that deal. I will contact Sora immediately to cancel. I agree with you if all this is not worth doing. You are my brother-in-law."
Seokyung tried to stand up after speaking and her body was limp. His feet hurt when he touched the floor.
"Let me help you." Hwan immediately raised Seokyung's body. "Let's talk." Further.
Hwan lowered Seokyung's body carefully. He took a chair not far from her and sat down. They are facing each other now. Seokyung sat on the bedside while Hwan was in front of her.
"I'm sorry." Chief Hwan bowed.
Seokyung's heart was pinched. He should have apologized. Hwan is not entirely wrong. Sora should be responsible for everything. She must have involved her husband in this crazy thing. Seeing such Hwan Seokyung understood. Hwan must be just as confused as him. Confused what to do or confused where to start.
"I didn't mean to avoid you. I. I'm very confused. I need some time to think."
Hwan raised his head and looked straight at Seokyung's face.
Seokyung's faint smile rose.
"Where have you lived?"
"I had a business trip to Jeju and I just arrived in Seoul this morning."
That's right what aunt said. Kang Inhwan is a busy man. Seokyung felt sorry to think so much about him.
"You must be a busy man." Seokyung. A faint smile still adorned his face.
His presence in this house seemed to burden Hwan. He became the reason Hwan sneaked into his own house. Seokyung was increasingly convinced to withdraw from this agreement.
"I've already made Mr. Kang's decision. I'm going to back off. I will refund Sora anyhow, even if I have to work without sleep. I will be responsible. Sorry for burdening you."
Hwan's forehead shriveled.
"Then about the child?"
"There won't be."
"But I promised Sora."
"You can find someone else."
"It would be very risky. No. gabe. People will be suspicious of the child later. I think Sora's decision is right. That kid should look like me or Sora."
'You crazy couple.' Shouted Seokyung in heart.
"Don't go. Don't cancel that deal. I want Sora to come back to me. He promised to come back soon if we succeed. So please help me."
'O Lord Sora, how can you play with the heart of someone who loves you so much.' Seokyung IBA.
Pause of silence for a moment.
"Master Kang let's be friends." Seokyung's voice broke the silence.
"Yes?" Hwan stutters.
"Don't we need to be close to succeed? Let's start making friends and getting to know each other."
Hwan gasp. His mouth was stiff to answer.
"You don't have to treat me like Sora. We'll have an intimate relationship anyway." Seokyung was suddenly embarrassed by her own words. "How's it?" Soekyung continued to straighten his view again.
Bright sparkles were seen on Hwan's face. The stifling air that had originally surrounded him evaporated.
"You're not gonna cancel this deal, are you?" Hwan reiterated. He's afraid of the truth. If this agreement doesn't work Sora won't return. The thought of Sora's abandonment haunts him.
Seokyung nodded with a bitter smile. Seeing Hwan made her heart ache. This man in front of him must have suffered more heavily than him. Seokyung sighed harshly thinking about the fate that surrounded him.
"Well, let's befriend Seokyung. Call me Hwan, and you don't have to use formal language." Hwan said happily.
Seokyung's feelings were mixed. Her chest tightened to see Hwan. He smiled to suppress his emotions.
'Sora you should see your husband, look at him well. You are very lucky.'
After the declaration of friendship, Hwan started to relax. His face was not as tense as before. They had also used the room together despite each sleeping on the side of the bed. For the reason of familiarizing yourself. There has been no development of relations between them.
Morning and night change. Know it's been two weeks. Although they had not slept together, their closeness was getting better.
"What do you want to eat for breakfast?" Seokyung asked when she saw Hwan enter the kitchen.
Seokyung wakes up first to help her aunt in the kitchen.
"Anything." Hwan pulled up the chair then sat down. He took a glass and filled it with water. Today was Saturday so he was more relaxed.
"The coffee is coming." Celoteh Seokyung put down a glass filled with coffee. "I made kimchi fried rice and mackerel. That okay?" Ask Seokyung.
"Yes. Whatever it is from your hands is good." Hwan replied as he sipped his coffee.
"Okay, I'll serve you immediately." Timpal Seokyung who returned struggling with his fried rice.
The fragrant smell of fried mackerel filled the kitchen. Seokyung loves fish, especially sea fish. So fish became a mandatory menu at their dining table. Hwan who does not choose his food always likes the choice of the menu at the table. Seokyung cuisine always matches her tongue.
"You got an event this morning?
Seokyung. During these two weeks he never went out of the house or did any meaningful activities. Life is monotonous, between the television and the kitchen.
"This morning I made an appointment with the doctor. How about we go see a doctor?" Hwan said without further ado.
Seokyung agrees. If they want to succeed, they have to make a plan. The steps Hwan took were precise. Seokyung needs to know his fertile period in order for their actions to be efficient. Seokyung's throat suddenly choked. Aversion dripped on his lips.
"OKAY. I'll be ready soon." Seokyung.
"No need to rush. Finish your breakfast." Hwan looks at Seokyung's plate which is still full.
"I'm done. Wait a minute I'll be right down."
Seokyung put down her plate then immediately returned to the room. As soon as possible get ready and get off. Hwan was already waiting for her in the living room in casual clothes. They left as soon as Seokyung was ready.
During the journey they were silent. Drowning in each other's minds.
