The Happy Ending Love Story

The Happy Ending Love Story
Tipping the World Jessy #5

Linger in Jakarta is not the type of Kent. Almost all of his work is in Bali. After returning from Singapore, Kent decided to visit the Royal Corp branch of Jakarta. They are preparing for the construction of a shopping mall so there is no harm in reviewing the project.

Upon hearing Jayanegara Group's name as a partner, Kent was shocked. He pensively long. He had not been in direct contact with them for a long time. They used to be very close before they got as far now.

Kent therefore decided to engage in the presentation of the first draft. He knows the owner of Jayanegara Group, Arjuna Jayanegara. They were friends in college.

There was something between them that wasn't well resolved four years ago. Their relationship was broken after the event. They no longer communicate with each other. Kent immersed himself in work in Bali, refusing to get in touch with the Jayanegara family.

She's mistaken. They're both wrong. Kent remembers Jessica Jayanegara, the sister of his best friend. His ex-wife and the man made a huge explosion four years ago. Their families were united by marriage and their families were estranged due to divorce.

Kent still remembers how his ex-wife featured when they officially parted ways. Very tricky. Divorced is not good. Family relationships are ruined because of them. Kent pondered for a long time. Unconsciously four years have passed. He did nothing during that time and now suddenly met his ex-wife, Jessica Jayanegara.

He was observing someone who was late to enter with round eyes. His eyes did not look wrong. Although he sat far behind, Kent knew him specifically. His appearance did change, but Kent still knew him. Where he might have forgotten. He would never forget his pale, tired face and blank stare. His black eyeballs were dull every time he saw them.

Kent never thought that they would meet again. Kent thought she wouldn't be in a place like this, she was a free-spirited woman. Wildly. I have big dreams and don't like being locked up.

The glint of light in his eyeballs shocked Kent. The woman was chatting with a friend beside her. The look in his eyes was different as what Kent had often seen five years ago. The light is alive. When their sight met and he realized Kent's whereabouts, the woman's eyes were strange. Not like before. It was as if he had just seen a ghost. The black eyeballs darkened.

'Jessy's'.

When his name was called, Kent's body was jolted just like him.

Jessy's ex-wife introduces herself with confidence. Kent's gaze was empty. Complicated feeling. The Jessy she knew back then wasn't like that. That woman was a rebel. Time seems to have changed it.

His face was no longer pale with tired eyes. He looks fresh and charming. Beautiful young lady's appearance. Kent laughed at himself. When they got married, she didn't see that at all with Jessy. But now, Jessy's charm shook her heart.

A wry smile returned to his lips. Until the meeting was over they did not greet each other. Kent saw that Jessy was avoiding his eyes. Jessy doesn't treat him like someone she's ever known. Kent was secretly disappointed. He also did not greet Jessy until the woman left and the room was completely empty. Kent's memory goes back five years. When they got married.

"The project is a deal." Juna said as he sipped the americano ice.

They were having lunch together at a cafe not far from the office. Juna asks Jessy to eat together because there is something she wants to convey. Jessy deliberately chose this place because her team-mates have no lunch plans here. Jessy had heard they were going to eat at a rice stall. So secure.

"Seriously mas?" Jessy's eyebrows shot up. But he is pessimistic. He honestly did not want the project to continue. Even though he knew the risks were great for the company.

"Yes. I told you today the signing of his cooperation." Answer Juna.

"Mas see him?"

Juna nodded. He took his fork and took a fettucini carbonara on Jessy's plate.

"He asked about Jessy didn't?"

Juna nodded back.

After returning from Royal Corp Jessy went straight to the apartment and did not return to the office. She's tired. Jessy goes to bed early and she doesn't meet Juna. The next morning Juna left early so he didn't meet Jessy. They practically don't tell each other.

"I swear?" Jessy's body jerks. He put down his fork.

"You didn't talk to him yesterday?" Tanya Juna who still enjoys Jessy's food, even though the food is still intact, grilled tuna with mushroom.

"Not at all." Jessy replied firmly. "What did he ask?"

"Honestly, I haven't seen Kent in a while since you got divorced. He was long in Bali and rarely went to Jakarta. Yes he asked about you who turned out to have just returned from the UK and he also asked you how could be an employee of Jayanegara Group. That's not much. The rest we talk about the others." Obviously Juna is back to eating his food.

"What's the answer?" Jessy folded her hands on her chest. The food on his plate was no longer interesting.

"Jess' honest answer will be asked."

"Well, how did she answer?"

Juna took off his spoon then raised his head.

"Mas said that if you stay in England after divorce, you continue to study art design there. Two weeks ago you came home and agreed to work at the mas office, that's it."

"If you're not Jess, he's more private to the mas, news mama papa and our family."

"Keep answering? Don't hate that same thing as him?" Ask Jessy with a sloppy tone.

"Jess, what happened four years ago is your business. Our relationship is fine, I've known Kent for a long time."

"But this mas brother was hurt the same way he was." Jessy doesn't accept Juna for Kent.

"Yes they know. That was a long time ago, Jess. Are you sorry about him too?"

Jessy was in disbelief. Her brother cared or not for her sister. He had absolutely no sense of vengeance ever been hurt.

"Ah, my mom, she keeps talking about it. Jessy doesn't want to be sick anymore. Pretty yeah Jessy used to get hurt, now Jessy doesn't even want to see him anymore."

Juna was indifferent. It's Jessy's personal business and she won't interfere.

"Oh yes Jess, because cooperation has been made and development is also starting soon, so your team must be ready to jump into the field."

"Yes? Mean mas?"

"As long as the project goes on you should be there."

"At Royal?"

Juna nodded.

"What?"

"Maybe you can start working there?"

"Huh?"

"Take it easy, Kent went back to Bali this afternoon. You won't meet him. He was discharged yesterday from Singapore so stop by Jakarta. A CEO class person is unlikely to jump into the project. Every day his report would've been on his desk." Juna Timpal.

"Oh okay." Jessy breathes a sigh of relief. He couldn't imagine seeing that person every day. 'But males.' Jessy in her heart.

"Jessy!"

Just as Jessy was about to continue eating suddenly a very familiar voice sounded. He looked at Juna.

His head looked up to find the source of the voice, it turned out to be Yola. All of his co-workers are no exception to enter the cafe. Jessy gurgling.

"Hei Jess said she wanted to meet, so here she met. Where's your temen?" Yola ran towards Jessy's seat with a cheerful face. When he saw the person sitting in front of Jessy, Yola's face paled.

"Good day, Mr. Juna."

Jessy's other friends follow Yola, and they are shocked to see Juna holding a spoon by eating one plate with Jessy.

Jessy just stood up.

"Sir Juna. So, you're Jessy's friend." Yola.

The indifferent Juna raised his gaze.

"Oh hi, I'm not Jessy's friend. I'm Jessy's sister. You guys want lunch, right? Come join." Juna answered honestly.

Everyone gasped and Jessy was no exception. He had difficulty concealing his identity for these two weeks. Everything is in vain.

They look at each other between Jessy and Juna.
