Ch.79 The True Journey

Ariel ran towards the hole where Leo and the old man had fallen, but had yet to get close to the hole, a large explosion occurred and widened the diameter of the hole that was originally large enough.

Tears flowed more and more in the eyes of Ariel who fell due to the shock wave of the previous explosion, in her head, there was only one word that kept repeating, Leo.

"Leo! Leo! You can hear me, right? Leo!" Ariel stood around the hole as she shouted out the name of Leo who kept spinning on her head.

The Guardians and Knights who had previously followed Leo approached and one of them caught Ariel trying to get closer to the hole.

"How can there be a hole here? And how can it be this deep?" Confused Cancers stared at the focus of the hole, while Aquarius and Libra chose to be quiet because they lost a figure they admired since childhood.

"Ariel ...." Virgo approaches the crying Ariel, seeing the grieving girl, Virgo hugs her body tightly.

"I'm sorry, we can't protect her. We failed as Guardians and companions" Virgo shed her tears and tried to comfort Ariel even though she was also filled with guilt and helplessness.

Ariel was crying very loudly, while Virgo who was hugging her looked towards the hole below which looked very deep and no human would be able to survive after falling from that height.

That day, the Guardians were in mourning. They lost their leader for good and one of the most members they could hope for was yet unknown.

Aries approaches the seated Scorpio while bowing his head heavily. They were all in a difficult predicament, their leaders and associates left the world and disappeared without any clarity.

Of course it was natural to feel sad and depressed after what they had spent all this time. It is not known what would happen if there were no figures like Aries and Aquarius who were still able to maintain their rationality in the midst of this chaos.

"Scorpio, let's go home. We must hold a funeral and a final tribute to Taurus, besides this destruction we must also think about in the future.

In the end, this is not a victory." Aries turned his gaze towards the hill that became bare from the battle and chose to sit next to Scorpio.

Scorpio who was watching Aries just kept quiet and looked at the blond young man.

So get up, we still have a lot of work and tasks. After that, we can train to become stronger." Aries stood up and smiled confidently.

"Taurus definitely doesn't want to see us grieve, so I'll try not to grieve and will lead the Hall of Elders if you don't want to.

Until you want it, I'll replace you for a while."

Aries steps away and leaves Scorpio still shaken by himself.

Scorpio who lamented his weakness from earlier smiled bitterly, "In the end, it is because of my weakness that I cannot protect you.

I can't even sacrifice like that young man. When compared to him, I am not worthy of holding this position." Scorpio laughed for a while before sheds her tears that were kept stemming from earlier.

Losing the figure of a teacher and friend is quite burdensome to his heart. After what they had gone through this some time, it was impossible to just let go of it.

'I promise I will become stronger and guard the Hall of Elders from afar just like Leo did before!'

Scorpio promises and disappears from his place. It was the beginning of one of the Legends that would be told by later generations.
