Ch.73 Bond II

The silver and gold light shone brightly in the darkness of the forest.

This light could even be seen from in front of the City Gate, which was dubbed the holy city.

Meanwhile among the refugees Ariel stared worriedly towards the golden and silver light. He recognized the golden light and worried that the owner of the Aura was injured or even in danger.

As Ariel was deep in thought Lily who was under the girl stared at the city blankly. Foreign whispers were heard calling his name from a distance.

"Lilly ...."

"Bec .... "

"Lily ...!"

"Lilly?" Ariel's voice suddenly sounded in his ears. The little girl did not realize that she had set her little foot back before the empty City and Ariel was forced to chase after her because of it.

Lily looked confusedly at Ariel as if her mind had not returned completely and Ariel immediately hugged the girl.

"Lily, what are you looking for here? Come back, it's dangerous!" Ariel rubbed the little girl's head and tried to take her away from there.

As the two of them were about to step foot a human-like shadow was seen staring from a distance.

Ariel who caught a glimpse of the shadow stopped her steps and called out to the person.

"Hello? Excuse me, why don't you go out with us? It's dangerous here, come with us!" Ariel shouted out in the direction of the shadow.

There was no answer at all, there was only a strange mutter that sounded from a distance, Ariel started to feel strange about the situation and tried to lift Lily up.

It's just that something even stranger happened again.

Lily's small eyes that looked dark earlier started to glow. A bright green light that resembled leaves was seen shining in Lily's eyes.

Ariel who was shocked stopped all his movements.

He called the name of the little girl again.

The green light shining in his eyes gave a strange impression and sinister murmurs filled their surroundings.

Ariel started to get scared.

"Lilly. Let's go back I feel uncomfortable right now. Come on, let's go back." Ariel tried to speak softly to the little girl, but the answer she gave confused Ariel.

"Come home, I'll help you out for a second. Death approaches him, if he is not aided by another force Death will take him away." Lily covered her mouth and a faintly visible shadow gathered under her feet.

As Ariel was puzzled by the little girl's words, a black shadow covered her small body with a shape that resembled a budding Lily flower.

When the shadow had completely swallowed the little girl's body, it disappeared as if it had never been there before.

Heavy exhales alternated between Leo and Myrthe, both of whom were replenishing the strength they had used when attacking earlier.

Meanwhile, the ten people before them were also not in a good position. One of them even lost one of their arms after exchanging attacks with the two young men before them.

Leo took a deep breath before draining the Aura that had been converted into Qi into the white sword in his hand.

The sword came back to glow and instead the skin of Leo's white body slowly turned pale due to its lack of vitality after repeatedly exhausting the Aura in large quantities.

After solidifying his posture, he stepped forward to restart his beautiful sword dance.

The golden fire that had once extinguished was again blazing in the darkness of the night.
