The Guardian: Legend of Leo

Ch.43 Pillar of Light

The glare-white light caused by the Aura explosion slowly faded away, leaving only a pillar of light towering into the sky.

This pillar of light certainly attracted the attention of everyone there, because, from within the pillar of light, there was a faint shadow of two humans who were close to each other.

Everyone who was there could clearly guess who the two people were, but what astonished them was only left on the towering pillar of light.

With a silvery-white color, the pillar of light slowly shrunk and finally showed one of the men who was previously inside the pillar of light.

Not long after, the pillar finally disappeared. A look of surprise was on the faces of everyone who was there.

Not because of seeing Dethyus who is now lying limp, lifeless. But, about something more confusing there.

"Where's Uncle Myrthe? And who are you?" General Darth finally opened his voice while pointing towards a young man who was now standing beside Dethyus.

"What do you mean Darth? Isn't it clear I'm here?" reply while tidying up his shabby clothes that felt enlarged suddenly.

Hearing the young man's reply, everyone who was there rubbed their eyes, while the enemy troops who had attacked the city earlier moved to escape.

"Before that chase them first, lest anyone escape from here!" The young man broke General Darth's daydream, and moved at high speed to finish off the rest of the fleeing enemy forces.

General Darth scratched his non-itchy head, he knew, based on the movements exhibited by the young man before, he was none other than Grandfather who saved them earlier, he knew, the same man who killed Dethyus.

It was just that he was still curious, what made the grandfather become younger and even become so handsome.

With white hair that was not much different as before, a slightly increased height, my eyes narrowed and his body became more powerful, Grandfather looked much younger now.

Dizzied at the change in Grandfather, General Darth chose to go to help and finish off any enemy troops who tried to escape from the snowy city.

After a while, Leo finally regained his sight and saw a little girl in his arms.

Leo woke up his body while combing around. Seen as concrete and stone debris scattered around them, just a few moments later Leo regained his memory.

Leo shook his head as a sudden pain pierced the young man's head.

The young man complained loudly as the pain hit his head again, "We should be not far from the ruins now.." muttered Leo as he held his still-painful head.

Every now and then he checked the state of the girl he had brought before, fortunately, the girl only had a small scratch wound near her forehead, with a little bit of care, such a wound would definitely heal without a trace later.

While carrying the little girl carefully, Leo moved away out of the rubble and rushed back at Ariel, remembering he had left the girl for too long.

Without delaying any longer Leo accelerated his steps back towards the blond girl.
