The Guardian: Legend of Leo

The Guardian: Legend of Leo
Ch.01 Forecast And Acquaintance

Moments before the Forbidden Forest explosion,

In a room in a white building, a large man was seen talking to an elder.

"Master, Ashura's attacks are happening more and more, even places that are usually safe, have now been destroyed by them."

The atmosphere became silent, the person called Master seemed to be about to say something but he undoed his intentions.

"Is so. Haah.." the Master sighed heavily.

"So, it's already started, is it?" The man then looked up while complaining listlessly.

"What do you mean, sir?" his subordinates asked seriously

His name was Ares. His stature was like that of a priest, even so, he was not part of a religious organization, let alone a priest.

Ares looked at the other man who was his subordinate, "Taurus, there's a story I want to tell you."

Ares approaches a crystal ball next to Taurus.

"This story is actually just a fairy tale. No matter how long it has been taken down, I take it that way." He rubbed the crystal, then continued his story.

"Far in the past, a legendary guardian once predicted the future. He is said to have the power to change destiny, even several times he proved it by winning a war that should be impossible to win.

In his prediction, the world will be in chaos, many strong people will appear and the balance will no longer be balanced because of these people."

Ares turned away from the crystal ball and went towards the bookshelf behind Taurus, and turned his back.

"At that time they will be led by a Guardians, who are mentioned as Lions who bring peace, if the time has come, the crystal will shine golden."

Not long after, Taurus narrowed his eyes, "Is his light colored like a blazing fire?"

Ares replied calmly, "Right, then there will be events that shake the entire Euthorea Kingdom."

"Will the light get brighter? until it cracks the crystal?"

"Yes, how do you know? I haven't even explained?" Ares raised his eyebrows, he had not explained anything but the man knew it first.

"Will it continue to do so until it shatters the crystal?"

"... " There was no answer, he was just silently confused by his subordinate's question.

"Then turn around" said Taurus with a slight tremble

"This ... " Ares is out of words,

"This is really happening!?"

The man watched the crystal closely, until it finally broke and lost its light slowly.

"We must immediately tell this to the other higher-ups! Taurus quickly prepare your soldiers, we'll have a big battle."

After giving instructions, a great tremor was felt throughout the Euthorea Kingdom, making the kingdom feel like it was experiencing a great earthquake

Taurus and the Elder immediately left the Hall of Elders, as the position of the Hall of Elders was made facing exactly into the Forbidden Forest they could clearly see a huge explosion burning the forest quickly.

"I'll check it out myself, please tell the others to discuss our preparations for the big problem to come."

Taurus immediately jumped up and ran towards the source of the explosion.

Because the Forbidden Forest was quite far away from the city of Tresch, Taurus was much longer than he had anticipated.

Upon the arrival of the Taurus in the Forbidden Forest he saw clearly the remnants of the blaze burning down almost half of the Forbidden Forest along with its contents and leaving only a small amount of burnt tree remains.

"What the fuck?"

Taurus circulated his gaze looking for something that might have caused the explosion.

"There's almost nothing left here, something that caused this explosion must be very dangerous I myself might not be able to fight it."

Taurus gulped his saliva, he realized that if the thing that caused all this was his enemy, then he couldn't possibly have a chance to come back alive.

"It looks like there's still others here." Taurus turned his face from left to right to search.

Shortly after, he sees a young man lying limp, but that is not what makes Taurus realize his existence, A golden aura similar to that in a crystal ball was seen shining on his body despite the dimness but it was clear that his strength was at a level that Taurus could not handle.

"So you're the cause of all this? Your horrible aura makes me believe you were the cause of the explosion just now."

Taurus smiled faintly, before burying the girl's body properly and taking the young man with her.

"Rose..."

Leo opened his eyes, his body ached and his head seemed to rotate in a moment.

After his head did not feel spinning again then he realized that he was in an unknown place.

"You're up, get some rest. Don't force your body to move, that much strength won't be able to be held back by your body, you need to adjust first."

Leo watched the big man standing at the door of the room.

"I'm sorry, but how did I end up here?"

The man smiled at Leo.

"Before answering your question can you tell me what happened while you were in the Forbidden Forest?"

Leo was silent for a moment, his heartbeat stopped for a moment.

"That's very hard to explain..."

The man looked at Leo's expression and withdrew his words.

"Ah, forget. You ended up here because of me. I brought you here, I found you unconscious on the edge of the Forbidden Forest."

Leo simply kept quiet, enduring the pain that suddenly appeared as he recalled Rose.

"For the girl, I'm sorry. I couldn't save her, but I gave her a proper funeral."

"What's wrong, after all I'm wrong for not being able to take good care of her."

The man just silently watched Leo's changed expression.

"My name is Taurus, you can come to me when you're back to health."

Taurus leaves Leo in the room.

Leo simply held himself back from shedding tears that felt like they had filled his eye bags. He simply closed his eyes and went back to resting to calm his feelings that were currently completely muddled

The Main Hall of the Building.

The higher-ups gathered to discuss their plans in the face of the great calamity that was coming to them.

The atmosphere of the storm suddenly became silent as a middle-aged man with an aura of authority walked into the Main Hall.

"Honor the Great Leader"

"Welcome to the Great Leader"

The man called the Great Leader raised his hand and gestured to the other Elders.

"As you have heard, we are already in the time of the Prophecy, one by one the prophecy is proven and true. Now that we have to discuss and plan the steps to deal with the disaster that is coming to us, without saying much more, let's just start the Meeting of the Elders."

After giving instructions, the Meeting of the Elders officially began. Without many realizing that the real disaster was already in front of them.
