The Guardian: Legend of Leo

The Guardian: Legend of Leo
Ch.23 Mysterious Cave

Leo continued his attack on the Ashura and did not give the slightest pause for them to retaliate against the young man's attack.

The flames came back to light and grew even more burning as the young man slashed his sword back towards the Ashura.

Others who watched the young man could only be stunned to see his movements that looked like people were dancing amidst the flames.

Leo continued to move on with his attacks and finished off one by one Ashura in front of him.

In a moment, the entire area of the place became brightly lit due to the blaze created by the young man.

A few breaths later, there was no more Ashura left in that place. They have been exhausted along with the extinguishing of the fire in that place.

The brownish-black-haired youth wanted to express his gratitude, before he realized that the young man who danced within the flames earlier, had already disappeared from the place.

The young man only smiled as he looked at the rest of the flames present in the place.

"Thank you brother, I won't forget your services"

The young man smiled for a moment before he decided to return to take the residents to a safer place.

They quickly left the place and headed to the top of the mountain to evacuate.

Leo ran back to comb the village, after saving the previous entourage, he rushed to find other residents who might still be left in the village.

In a short period of time dozens of people were rescued by him, while he continued combing the village looking for residents who were still trying to evacuate.

Leo ran quickly to the inner part of the village, where he and Ariel bought chicken noodles earlier, and, he could feel that the air from Ashura was still not disappearing and felt there were still very many in the place.

And sure enough, almost along the way Leo finished off every Ashura he saw, not a single one came off after the young man saw it. This action made the path he was walking through filled with Ashura's corpse which was covered with burns and sword cuts on his body.

This makes them the most avoidable people by the Ashura, they are smart enough to realize that they will only take their lives if faced with the young man.

***

While on the mountain, some people were gathering to evacuate along with Ariel, they were initially frightened when they saw the Leo Lion Beast in the area, but after Ariel convinced them, they were scared, these people eventually took refuge there with him.

Ariel looked at the situation that was happening on the mountain. Previously only he and the two girls they saved were there, but now, it looks like dozens or even hundreds of people are gathering there to evacuate and treat the injuries they experienced.

The situation there was quite crowded with a mighty Lion Beast guarding them.

***

Returning to the village, Leo is now exploring deeper into the village. The more he went inside, the more Ashura was visible to his eyes.

Because of this, he assumed that there might be something going on inside the village.

Realizing this, he sped up his pace and entered the deeper parts of the village.

Upon arriving at the deepest part of the village, Leo could clearly see what was happening inside the village.

Many human bodies were seen throwing bodies along the village road. Even each body looks incomplete and always has the same wound on his body. Predictably, there is a more dangerous Ashura hiding here.

Seeing this, Leo immediately went around looking for the source of the incident.

Leo was surprised when he found out the inside of the cave was quite large and large than seen from the outside.

He rushed around the cave before accidentally arriving at the treasure warehouse, he chose to stop and see what things were in the warehouse.

There were many high-level martial arts books neatly arranged on the right side of the warehouse, while on the left side of the warehouse there were various heirlooms and a large number of resources.

"I need this to fight against these cave dwellers..."

Leo thinks with the books and heirlooms that are there he can fight or at least hold the occupants in the cave.

Leo quickly checked the books in the warehouse,

"The Fire Book of the Dragon God, the Book of Unrivaled Celestial Swords..."

Leo looked and picked out some martial books that he felt suited him. But tucked away in confusion at the young man's head he had never heard of a cave like this in the kingdom of Euthorea.

After finishing choosing and storing some objects, he decided to go back down the cave.

There are carvings in the form of human images and painted warfare on the walls of the cave. This makes Leo continue to pay attention to the cave wall.

"That's a story about Immortals, they've been around long before you, the Guardians. Oh, and for the ones there, it is their Celestials are also much stronger than you guys. Any one of them can flatten the world you live in right now"

The voice of an authoritative man suddenly startled Leo, the young man immediately picked up the horses to attack the man.

His attack was quickly broken with just one finger by the man.

"There is no need to be on standby like that, I am not interested in your disputes. I just want to keep this place, because that's exactly why I can be in this place."

Leo frowned, not knowing what the man meant. He himself entered here because he wanted to find the cause of the situation in the interior of the village he was visiting at this time.

The man laughed for a moment looking at Leo's puzzled expression.

"You must have never heard of this cave before, right? That's natural, because the existence of this cave is not the knowledge of your world"

Leo frowned increasingly confused.

"Now it's not time for you to find out, you're looking for the creature that caused the village's destruction, right? It's right there."

Leo turned his face towards the man and quickly the place behind him turned into a forest filled with air that was much more concentrated than he had felt before.

Leo, who was confused, turned his head back to the starting position and found that he had moved completely to a forest in the village.

Leo who was still confused by the previous incident was surprised by a dangerous air that was far greater than before.

A chunk of ice floated quickly towards Leo and was successfully avoided by the young man.

He who is still confused about the previous incident, is now faced with a large Ashura that looks like a Tiger that has fangs and blue eyes with cold air spreading from his body.
