Ch.14 The King Has Arrived

Taurus and the others were still astonished to see their attacks being broken with just one flick of a hand.

Desperation permeates Taurus and others. They could see trying to fight like anything was useless now, before the actual power they just looked like a bunch of little kids playing around with danger.

"We can't keep quiet like this, we have to strike back! No matter if it's useless at least we won't lose without a fight!"

Taurus exclaimed loudly to his comrades, there was no spirit left on the soldiers after seeing the attacks of the Guardians broken that easily.

"Alright if you don't want to move, then go home! You still have family to look after!"

The Taurus sentence made the remaining Soldiers feel ashamed of themselves, but they realized they were not opponents before the seven Men who stood firm and were looking down on them.

Taurus tries to attack again aided by Scorpio and Aries, seen their attacks again broken by the same middle-aged man as the previous one.

"Finnwood, you're too hard on them, let me have fun replacing you, it's been a while since I last played against a croco like this."

Another man who was among the seven of them opened his voice, out of the seven men who were there he was the one who had underestimated the Guardians the most.

Taurus who heard this became angry and tried to attack the man.

"Heh, you're still like a kid in my eyes! No one's stopping me! I'll fight him"

This time it was the Man who advanced against Taurus, the two of them clashed physically and caused a shockwave that shook his surroundings.

"Let the Forest fight that guy! I'll face the archer!"

This time it was Kai's turn to jump up against Scorpio who was still dumbfounded to see the strength of the enemy side.

Left alone Aries who is keeping Virgo with him, he struggles to think of a way to save Virgo.

Until it crossed his head to throw Virgo through space and time right into the Hall of Elders.

A bright light shone from the Aries wand, this light then slowly enveloped Virgo's entire body and carried the girl through space and time before finally delivering her in front of the Gate of the Hall of Elders.

Meanwhile, the five Men who had noticed Aries were a little surprised because they thought Aries would attack with high-level magic, because his staff suddenly emitted such a bright light.

The middle-aged man referred to as Finnwood saw the power displayed by Aries and realized it was a high level of Space and time Magic.

"I'll fight him, leave him to me."

Finnwood suddenly moved right in front of Aries, while the blonde-haired young man was now exhausted after moving Virgo at the expense of most of his Auraan strength.

"Son, I see you have a talent for magic, are you interested in joining us?"

Aries chuckled, he saw what the group had caused to this city, the impact of the battle that was originally only at the Pier now extended all the way to the entire city, many buildings were destroyed and collapsed, flames were raging everywhere, and corpses were lying almost all over the place around them.

There is no need for Aries to think twice about rejecting the offer.

"Then, who asked for it! Left unchecked, you might be a threat to the Great Phoenix Alliance!"

The battle resumed again for the Guardians and the remaining City Soldiers against the Night Fox who were trying to take over Breatanea City.

A few hours earlier, though,

Leo was already halfway to Breatanea City, with a speed that was 4 times faster than the Taurus troupe should he reach the city about 45 minutes ahead, but a voice suddenly sounded inside his head.

"Hey... Can you come here..." A heavy sounding voice entered Leo's head.

Leo stopped his steps trying to find the source of the voice.

Leo turned his gaze towards the direction that the voice mentioned and saw the bushes and trees that were seen had just been breached by something very large.

"Get In..."

Leo stepped into the bushes and into the rows of trees inside.

After tracing deeply enough, Leo was surprised by the sighting of an enormous Lion Beast lying with a chunk of ice in the shape of a thorn stuck in his stomach.

"Hehehe... Not that You Can Be Quiet When You See Me, Your Strength Must Be So Great That You Can Be Relaxed Like This Before Me..."

The beast let out a small laugh seeing Leo's pretty interesting reaction in his opinion. Because from his experience only two people including Leo behaved like that in front of him.

"alright.. I'm Not Wasting Time Again, Can You Help Me..? You've Seen My Situation, So I'm Asking You.. Can You Help Me?"

Leo frowned, he seemed to think of something inside his head.

"Then? What's in it for me if I help you? Who knew you'd eat me after I helped you?"

Leo stared at the Lion Beast, though,

"Hehehe.. You Don't Have to Worry, I'm Not That Low To Put A Help to Me. I'm The Lion Is Not A Cunning And Unguessable Fox. I Have High Self-Esteem To Keep"

The beast tried to convince Leo.

"I'll Serve You Your Whole Life If You Can Save Me, I Also Have Knowledge And How To Break The Spirit Aura Stage, If You Save Me I'll Give My Life With My Knowledge To You.."

The beast smiled proudly in front of Leo, but Leo just kept silent as if thinking of something.

The beast closed his eyes and expected nothing more when Leo just stood still and gave him no answer.

The beast rose before a loud roar signifying he was serious about his vow to Leo.

The battle situation looked unfavorable to the Guardians, Seen on one side Taurus was already in a state of kneeling before the Man called by the name of Forest, while Aries who is almost out of his aura lies limp in front of Finnwood, and lastly Scorpio is already in Kai's grip.

"Gather them together in one place! We're taking them out at the same time!"

Finnwood instructs his partner to gather the Guardians in one place.

Quickly the three of them threw the Guardians and gathered them in one place.

"I'll finish them off!"

Finnwood made a pointed wind knife and pointed it at the Guardians. Shortly before the blade touched them, a blaze burned and destroyed the wind blade.

"One more step and you'll die."

A young man who was seen riding the Lion Beast said coldly to Finnwood and the other six Men.
