Ch.55 War Crash

Myrthe slashed his sword quickly as the Devil inside the woman passed by him.

The demon stared intently at Myrthe with its black eyes, "Low-man, I will remember this!" he said before falling to his knees.

With a body full of wounds, the Devil and the Woman who became his host were finally uprooted.

A small smile was engraved on Myrthe's lips. Waving his sword to clear the remaining blood, Myrthe again saw if there were people left to finish off.

"It seems like there's no one else here—" Myrthe spewed blood from his mouth.

After wiping and clearing the remaining blood on his lips, he smiled again as he gazed towards the mountain path before him.

"I may fail to prevent them in other Cities, but this last City I won't let fall easily! I will not forgive what you have done to my teacher!" myrthe said before continuing his recovery.

The town of Burgeyns, a hot spring, moments before the battle of Myrthe ended.

Leo was getting ready to clean his body.
