Ch.46 The Great Alliance of Phoenix

In a building located near the valley of the Creasea Forest, 400 Miles from the Royal Capital.

The soldiers from the notorious criminal group met and gathered to discuss something there. Seen among the soldiers, an old man came in ahead of them.

From his appearance, it was predictable that he was the one who led the course of the meeting.

In his elegant and discreet style of speaking, wearing a robe and black armor on his body, the man then took a seat before everyone who followed him entered.

"What are you waiting for, sit down and report the results of your work" said the man, staring coldly at everyone there.

No one dared to refute, in a short time the leaders of the group had already taken a sitting position following the old man.

"Now tell me about your work? What about our plan?" the man asked for an explanation, and one of them finally got up and started to open his voice.

"We managed to obtain his Soul Stone, but for the most important part, it seemed to have disappeared in time, we couldn't find it anymore inside this Soul Stone" The person then handed him a chunk of crystal that gave off a bluish-white light.

The old man leading the meeting shook his head slowly, he knew it was not their fault.

What they meant by the most important part of the crystal chunk was the Soul Core that was inside the chunk of stone. If the Soul Core within the Soul Stone had been left for too long and not absorbed, that Soul Core would have disappeared and made the Soul Stone that was its shell, useless altogether.

The Soul Core itself is a material used to repair a person's soul, usually this is only used as a treatment for people who have suffered soul damage due to an attack or a certain disease.

The old man sighed before staring intently at everyone who was there.

Not long after, one by one the group leader conveyed the results of his work.

All the groups that were there successfully completed their tasks, there were no failures between them and there should be no failures between them.

After all the Leaders finished delivering the results of their work, the old man turned his gaze away like he was looking for something.

"Where's Dethyus? Why isn't he here?"

All who heard this instantly lowered their faces.

"Esteemed leader, about that ..." A female leader there opened her voice, after which she told him what had happened to Dethyus based on the news a few days ago.

"What's!? Who has defeated Dethyus!?" The old man stomped his hands at the table while putting a furious expression on his face.

A flash of black-colored light enveloped the man's body. They tried to calm the old man down.

"Esteemed leader, please calm yourself ..." The woman tried to persuade the old man to return to calm his mind.

After a while the old man lowered his anger and tried to calm himself down.

"Well, now where did the news come from and how could Dethyus who was my confidant be defeated like that?"

The woman sighed again, before continuing her explanation.

"Actually, we heard there was an unknown young man who managed to defeat him and managed to finish off his men. But, according to the news, now the young man was no longer found after disappearing from the battle." explained the woman while noticing the change in expression of the Man before her.

"I see, now there's only one thing we have to do." A cold smile was etched on the lips of the Man.

"Dear leader, you're not kidding, are you?"

One of the squad leaders there asked seriously, they knew for sure, there was one more asset the Great Phoenix Alliance had hidden all along.

Not because it was important or valuable, but they could not control it at all. The risk of using it is also very high.

Last time, the four strongest guards of the Great Phoenix Alliance were severely injured to lock him up, and that was done after the creature finished fighting with its fellows. And if they use it again no one knows what could happen then and there.

"Shut up, hurry up and leave this. I also feel that something is not right here." Reply one of the other soldiers.

They quickly tried to open the lock that was near the cage bars.

Right after the Key in the cage was opened, the sound of ear-shrinking laughter rang out from within.

"Hihihi, you foolish Men. Your instincts have told you to run, but you still insist on opening these bars, Hihihi!"

The voice was heard again. Not long after, a Fox covered in Ice came out and showed its form to the four people.

With a height that reached over 5 meters, along with the ice that enveloped his body, the Fox managed to frighten them.

"Now, you will be my snack before I look for the main course, Hihihi!" The fox then directly lunged and killed the four people.

In the next few breaths, no more sounds were heard from the direction of the cage.

I'm sorry that I've had a longer holiday than I should have, I got an extra rush a few days ago and ended up not having time to write a chapter for you guys, and when I tried to write the result was not comfortable to read.

I hope you can understand my situation, and once again I apologize to you.
