The Guardian: Legend of Leo

The Guardian: Legend of Leo
Ch.76 Farewell

Leo spent a few minutes chatting with Lily, from the explanation of the little girl, her age was not as young as the face she showed.

"As I explained before, I'm 35 now. Even so, I cannot age or age any more than this. Literally, I'm dead." Lily explained with a relaxed face.

The remark made Leo frown, "If you're dead then what's speaking before me right now?" said Leo with a slightly raised tone.

When the two were joking, the atmosphere suddenly became a little gripping.

Leo who realized this immediately tried to get up from his seat, his energy was still not fully filled and his aura was still very thin.

"The battle is still not over, the last wave is finally coming." Myrthe who had previously only focused on recovering his body and aura finally opened his mouth.

The gazes of the three people were fully focused on the black cloud clumps that had suddenly formed above their heads.

Not long after, a large white object fell from the height of the cloud.

Boom!

Clumps of dust and strong gusts of wind occur when the object is fully touching the ground.

After the wisp of dust disappeared, the figure that was seen shocked Leo and the two people nearby.

"Lion Small!"

The white lion's gaze was faint, visible from his eyes, he could fall asleep at any time with his condition.

The still surprised Leo immediately looked up as a powerful energy he had never felt gathered above his head.

"What is this?!" Myrthe who was still recovering from his injuries immediately tried to get up, but, as far as he tried, he could only stagger with great difficulty before then falling back to his previous position.

Thicker dark clouds were seen piling up on top of their heads.

In the middle of it a human-like silhouette figure was seen floating down towards the three of them.

"Is this what has taken out those forces? Not bad." The figure of the man who resembles the people in Leo's childhood memories appears.

His hair was long white to the waist with a white beard that was no less long than his hair.

The figure of the man was extremely domineering and suppressing whatever was standing beneath him.

Lily who from the beginning froze silently opened her mouth, "Old man, what do you want? Don't we have rules and ownership?" Lily said in a trembling voice. He realized that his strength would not be enough to face one on one or with the help of Leo and Myrthe though.

"Huh? I didn't hear wrong? Why would I care about the laws of this mortal world? The immortal? It's just your name for the ordinary people of my country.

You guys want to compare this tall figure with them? So arrogant!" The figure looked at Lily with a condescending look while massaging her beard.

"I won't say much, I'll end this quickly, I'll kill the young man, as long as you don't bother me I won't make things difficult for you" the old man with the white beard said of his threat. As an Immortal he knew that Immortals could not be killed as long as his Immortal was still left in the world.

"I'm sorry, old man. But killing him also complicates me! Face me right now!" Lily leaped forward towards the old man, the dark shadow that had previously disappeared back around the little girl's body.

His dark, black eyes re-embarked with greenish glow and the movements he displayed were beyond the human level.

The old man just stared flatly, uninterested in the trouble the little girl had caused and immediately swung his right hand.

"You're not my opponent, I told you I won't make things difficult for you, but you still insist. Now accept the reality and realize the difference between us." said the old man casually.

Lily who was still half a step towards the old man immediately jolted backwards after an invisible energy hit his body.

As if being hit so hard, Lily bounced to the ground below. The dense dust and loud noise greeted Lily after hitting the ground.

Leo and Myrthe who were still on standby immediately, although a little distress both could maintain their balance well.

"Young man, you have the same eyes as your parents and I hate that!" The old man pulled out a spear from empty space.

Both Leo and Myrthe both lost their minds for a moment before finally trying to dodge the spear.

Myrthe who had been looking for the gap of the old man immediately jumped forward after seeing the gap that the old man had pointed out.

"A bug like you can't hurt me!" The old grandfather raised his hand, this time a stick shot towards Myrthe and hit the old man very hard.

Myrthe who immediately lost his consciousness shortly after the impact of the stick spewed blood from his mouth.

Only Leo was left now and he was in a bad state, the Aura he had was so thin that it could no longer be converted into Qi. The power for him to swing the sword was not left even to dodge even though he was already severely tormented.

Looking at the helpless Leo, the old man sneered at Leo with a very condescending look, "Look at you. So pitiful that even facing such a lowly creature was already hardship. Half-breeds like you only ruin our honor, now atone for your parents' mistakes and die in my hands!" A spear again appeared in the old man's hand.

As Leo ran out of sense to dodge the attack, a young blonde-haired girl stood before him right after the spear was unleashed.

Time that seemed to stop freezing Leo's gaze and heart like it would scream right then and there.

In such a time as it stopped, a familiar soft voice in Leo's ears buzzed in his head.

"Goodbye" That was the speech that came from that voice.

Boom!
