Ch.20 Loa Village

Leo and Ariel were already in front of the Hall of Elders when Taurus came and shouted calling their names.

The man's breathing was interrupted and it was seen that he had run long enough before reaching the two young women.

"Here, take this money.I'm sure you'll need it later"

Taurus manages his breath while handing over a large bag of gold pennies carved in rice and cotton to Leo.

"Thank you Senior, we will definitely use this money well into the future."

Leo happily accepted the man's gift before calling his lion Beast to come pick them up.

The man stared intently at the person kneeling before him. He was furious that their plan had failed just because of a young man who he thought was nothing compared to him.

The person's head left where it should be, and made fresh blood rush from his neck.

"Tell all the members of the Great Phoenix Alliance, that the Alliance did not accept the slightest failure!"

The atmosphere became gripping, not wanting to add to the man's anger, they rushed to convey the message spoken by the man.

"A young man, huh?"

The man seemed to be thinking about something inside his head.

It was getting dark when Leo and Ariel arrived at a peasant village that looked prosperous. Although it is almost dark, but the atmosphere in the village still looks very crowded.

This village itself is more willing to civilization than other villages around it, this is seen from the magnificent and sturdy buildings that have stood in the village.

Leo and Ariel chose to walk on foot when entering the village. They did not want to make a fuss by bringing the lion Beast into an advanced village like this.

The glittering scenery of village lights adorned the vision of the two young women. Amidst the glitter of the lights, there are many people who are dancing and some are seen using strange masks according to Leo and Ariel.

They continued their steps while looking for an inn for them to occupy tonight.

After wandering around the village for a long time, Leo saw an inn that was not too big but enough for them to rest tonight.

"Ah, I found it. Ariel, let's go in"

Leo led Ariel into the inn. Inside the inn, there were two girls who worked as servants at the inn.

The two girls approached Leo and put a friendly smile on their faces.

"Sir, do you want to rent a room here?"

Another girl suddenly appears asking Leo, the young man just nods slowly while explaining that he needs a room with a separate bed.

After successfully getting the room he wanted Leo only realized that Ariel had been silent since then and put a pouting face on him.

"Ariel? Anything with you?"

Leo's question is only answered by a rude gust by Ariel,

"Humph!"

Leo felt increasingly confused about the attitude of the girl, before she was like rice attached to Leo's body, but now she suddenly lost her adhesion.

The girl just kept quiet while puffing her cheeks at Leo, clearly Leo seemed to make a mistake but was not aware of him.

"You keep staring at others like that, but behind you you have me with you..."

The girl finally opened her voice, the girl's voice sounded like a child sulking as she said it.

Leo who saw this just laughed in response to the girl's sentence. For the first time in a long time, laughter and warm feelings are again felt by Leo.

"What do you think you're mad at"

Leo stopped his laughter.

"You know, I looked at them because I had to do that. Can I speak without looking at the person's face? Especially when renting a room like this"

Leo brought the girl closer to him. Quickly a sweet smile was re-engraved on the girl's face.

Ariel lightly hit the young man's body, and an amused smile was seen on his face.

"I saw you, but you just didn't notice"

Leo's words successfully made the girl's face reddened with embarrassment, he quickly pressed his face into the young man's body.

"Leo, you're a fool..."

Leo did not listen too much to the girl's words and asked the girl what she said.

"No, you don't need to know"

A sweet smile was again etched gently on the girl's face she quickly left Leo and dropped herself into her soft bed.

"Leo, you're stupid"

A feeling of happiness quickly flowed in the girl's mind as she recalled Leo's sentence.

Not long after that he closed his eyes and fell asleep with a happy feeling that was now overflowing in his chest.

In the plantation forest of Loa village,

An old man and his son are still eager to work and continue to harvest the fruits of their plants.

Their garden is indeed very large and quite large than other residents in this village, so it takes more time to harvest the fruits.

The two continued to move into the garden and continued to harvest.

As he went deeper into his garden, the old man sensed that something was lurking from within the darkness.

With a lantern in his hand he directed the lighting towards something that loved him.

The moment the atmosphere became silent without any sound, that was when he felt something was wrong.

The old man was frantically looking for his son.

He kept looking and screaming for his name.

"Creshes! Son!"

When the old man called out his son's name, he again felt the same air as before.

Droplets of warm liquid fell from above his head and hit the old man's face. He touched the liquid with his finger and only then did a dark red color appear on the liquid.

The man's heart was pounding, he lost his strength to stand up and fell to his knees.

When he pointed his light up. It is clear that his son, Cresh, was on top of the fruit tree with a terrible situation.

The man again felt a goosebumping feeling before a black shadow quickly charged at him.

A moment heard the scream of an old man in the forest without anyone being able to hear it.
