Ch.30 Heritage

Leo still stands in his own solitude, he keeps seeing memories after memories he has experienced before.

After seeing her happy times, her bitter memories as a child began to reappear.

Fire was seen blazing in the building that was none other than the house that Leo and his father lived in, while they both seemed to be running away at that time.

A cynical smile was seen on the face of the man who called Leo's father the Heavenly Lion King.

The man averted his eyes and stared furiously at everyone who was surrounding him and his son. A feeling of anger and resentment filled him and made his body emit a thin, golden-colored Qi.

He shifted his gaze and looked back at his son gently,

"Son, I'll give you two inheritances. First I'll give you my father's Heavenly Lion Aura, you can change it yourself later"

The man kissed his son's forehead, knowing this might be the last time they met.

"Secondly, I will give you my father's Fire and Qi. Remember son, you should only use father's Qi when you have reached a level equivalent to the Qi Foundation level. Don't use it if you're under it! I'll see you later"

The man let go of his embrace, he could not delay any further since one of the people who surrounded them had already started attacking them.

He stared furiously at everyone who was there, looking angry and his emotions had reached their peak.

"The Heavenly Lion Aura"

The man said flatly, but the visible Qi in his body overflowed fiercely to the point of suppressing everyone around him.

His golden Qi overflowed and exerted a tremendous pressure onto the bodies of his enemies, not even a little fell to the ground and instantly knelt before him.

"God! You guys are still below me but already dare to offend me like this? You're looking for dead!"

He quickly opened the golden-yellow portal.

"Leo, I'm sorry. I'll send you far into the future and far away so they can't chase you, I'm sorry I had to lie to you before. I love you"

The man smiled warmly at his son, before throwing the boy into the golden portal he had made.

After throwing his son and closing his portal, the man showed his cruel gaze.

All those who were there looked terrified, because they realized that they were no match for the man before them at this moment, they dared to chase after the man actually not because of their own will, either, but there is a much greater power than the man who is threatening them to buy time so that he can come and finish the man.

The man pulled the gun, though,

Seen, a long golden sword with a handle shaped lion head is in the grasp of the man.

He quickly swung his sword towards one of the people who surrounded him.

A huge golden-coloured energy seemed to float about swiftly after the man swung his sword and struck the person.

The blast left only dust and no sign of anyone being hit before.

Everyone who was there now held their breath, they realized they had made a mistake and only brought their lives to the man.

As everyone was staring in fear at him, Theo, nicknamed the Heavenly Lion King, raised his sword again, intending to swing it at the others, before a huge black-colored energy quickly approached towards him.

The man changed the direction of his attack towards the black energy.

The energy emanating from the Man produced an extremely violent explosion as it collided with the black energy heading towards him and destroyed everything within the scope of his explosion.

Not long after, an old man with gray hair floated slowly towards Theo, with white Qi overflowing out from his body, Theo looked down on him.

"Heh, not bad. Being able to withstand my attack like that, means that you are indeed worthy enough to bear that title of yours."

The old man turned his distance closer while looking down at Theo.

"But unfortunately, it's still not enough to fight me!"

He quickly lashed a hard blow at Theo, and was quickly pushed aside by the man.

The two again exchanged attacks and destroyed the land where they were fighting back then.

The adult Leo now noticed a small version of himself that slowly opened his eyes.

Leo's small body felt very sick and his head felt spinning because of dizziness.

He tried to scream, but no sound came out of his throat.

Not out of reason, little Leo is now trying to overthrow his body hoping that someone will realize his existence and will help him.

A short time later, a girl his age approached slowly.

The girl has a pretty face for a girl her age.

He continued to look curiously at little Leo before opening his voice.

"uh? What are you doing there? Are you playing?"

The girl's innocent question managed to make the adult Leo smile, she remembered this clearly.

The girl who was in front of him at that time was none other than the girl who until now still left space in his heart.

The adult Leo sighed, and muttered

"If time could be repeated..."

The adult Leo immediately shook his head, he realized there was no point regretting it now, it was already his destiny, and he recalled his current goal.

All he had to do now was keep what he could still take care of, there was no need to regret the past, because it had already passed.

Leo sighed, feeling that he had stayed long enough in his solitude, now it was time for him to come out.
