The Guardian: Legend of Leo

The Guardian: Legend of Leo
Ch.27 Training the Fire Dragon God

In the dark of the night in the ruins of the city of Breatanea, an old man was seen stepping his feet towards the ruins of a former library.

"The book is still here, isn't it?"

The grandfather circulated his gaze looking for a small book in the ruins.

After surrounding the ruins while circulating his gaze, the Grandfather found what he was looking for.

"Ah, I finally found you too!"

The grandfather lifted the book, a title in the book is seen.

"The Book of a Thousand Sciences"

A satisfied smile was plastered on the grandfather's face, clearly he had been searching for the book for a very long time and had ventured for a very long time just to find it.

The grandfather fused the book with a carefree face, occasionally looking around with a cynical smile.

"You think I didn't know you were going to hunt me down? You're too naive"

Grandpa stopped his steps. A cynical smile adorned the old man's lips.

According to him, the group before him was too low-value, and only drove the weak to him.

"We knew you'd be here, after what you did we couldn't let you live"

A masked man was seen coming out from within the darkness of the shadows of the city ruins.

Not long after, more than ten people caught up with the man and surrounded the grandfather.

"Give me that book in your hand! Maybe we'll give you a painless death if you do"

The man standing near the shadow of the city ruins exclaimed loudly in a high tone at the grandfather.

The grandfather just kept quiet and looked around.

"One, two, three, four..."

Everyone who stood near the grandfather was shocked, they thought the grandfather would attack them, instead of counting it as obscure as that.

"Old grandfather! Do you think we can't beat you?! How dare you humble us like this!"

The grandfather simply smiled faintly in response to the man's sentence.

He looked at everyone there with a condescending look.

"You guys are obviously underestimating me here! You think just a bunch of clowns can stop me? I'll show you what strength is!"

"Aura Dragons!"

A silver-colored aura quickly overflowed from Grandpa's body, now his eyes were also shining a silvery bright color.

The people surrounding the grandfather held their breaths as a powerful Aura exploded from the grandfather. Now they realize that grandfather is not as simple as they think.

Without thinking any longer one of them tried to attack the Grandfather, but he had not had time to get close to the Grandfather, he had already lost his life first.

No one could see what the grandfather was doing, and they only caught a glimpse of a silver light moving very quickly past the person who was trying to attack the grandfather.

"How dare you kill one of us! You will definitely face the rampage of the entire Black Centipede later!"

The man standing near the rubble continued to utter a sentence that the grandfather considered unimportant. Of course, Grandpa did not listen to him.

Quickly the silver light passed through the man's body and separated his head from his body.

"Too much talk, not much effort. Is this what I should be afraid of from the Black Centipede? No kidding!"

Quickly the eleven people there tried to run after the leader was completed by the Grandfather.

"After offending me you tried to get away from me? How dare you!"

"Dragon Roar! Heaven's Cutter roar!"

Dozens of wind blades scattered along with the loud Auman sound of the grandfather and hunted down all the remaining people.

In one breath, none of them were alive, while the grandfather himself was still standing firmly with a broken sword in his right hand.

The grandfather glanced at the broken sword in his hand, looking a sad expression on his face.

After feeling quite safe, the grandfather continued on his way.

With his staggering steps and his carefree face always on his face, he stepped away towards the east and disappeared into the darkness of night

The wind blows in the village of Loa,

It seems Leo has just finished helping the people there rebuild the village, although it takes a long time, with the help of everyone there, the village has stood back.

"Congratulations, you've worked hard"

A girl came to give a cup of tea to the young man, Leo immediately received the tea and took a sip.

"You look tired today, don't you want to rest? You rebuilt this village in just a week, it's hard to believe you're still okay after working that hard"

The girl looked at Leo worriedly, she did not want the young man to push himself too much until he lost his consciousness again.

Leo looked softly at the girl, he did feel quite tired, but it did not bother him and was still within his natural limits.

The girl gently touched the young man's face, before placing the young man's head on his lap.

He tidied up the young man's hair which now looked a little messy. The young man was just quietly enjoying his rest time, it had been quite a while since he last felt the warmth in his chest.

Not long after, the young man fell asleep with a happy looking face on the lap of the girl.

***

Morning again welcomed the village, while the young man was asleep in the bed of the inn he had rebuilt earlier. The girl who had put the young man to bed earlier, was now falling asleep beside him.

In the silence a small lion entered into the room of the young man. A wide smile was engraved on his lips and sharp claws slowly shot out from his tiny fingers.

Evil laughter rang out to fill the space.

After a while, a loud scream echoed from inside the room.

***

Leo walked with the Little Lion to the hill behind the village.

Seen on the young man's face crossed three long scars that adorned his face perfectly.

"So what are we doing here?"

Leo who continued to follow the Little Lion came to the top of the hill they were heading to, only a field was visible there.

The little lion beast smiled broadly towards the young man,

"Of course we're here to learn the Fire Dragon God, is there any other reason for that?"

Leo gasped in shock, he had not told anyone about what he had gotten in the mysterious cave before, even he chose to keep it a secret along with other secrets he had hidden.

"Not to be surprised, did you forget I saved you before? I'm not from this world, so I know about a lot of things in it"

The Beast sentence made Leo aware, before he was quite astonished about the way the Beast saved him from death.

The beast smiled faintly at Leo,

"Because you already know the Sword of Heaven Without Match, surely you also know Science who is the partner, right?"

Once again Leo gasped in shock at the little Lion's sentence. According to him, it is useless to hide the facts about him who has both high-level Books of Science.

Without hiding anything else, Leo told him everything he could and experienced during the raid on the village, and began to train together with the little Lion.
