Ch.22 Village Attacked

Leo was taking Ariel away from the dangerous air he felt, the air suddenly felt very much around Leo and Ariel, so that Leo took the safe path by running away to bring Ariel with him.

In the middle of his escape, Leo could see a black smoke rising from the main part of the village.

"The village has been attacked..."

Leo gritted his teeth before moving his legs faster.

Not too long ago, he and Ariel saw two girls surrounded by Ashura.

One of the girls was even very desperate and resigned to accept the attacks of the Ashura around him.

"Ariel, hold on tight..."

Leo quickly changed positions and arrived in front of the desperate girl.

"Fire Pride! The Fire God's slash!"

Leo quickly slashed at Ashura's claws which were already very close to the girl. A very hot flame was seen following the sword's movements and a sickle-shaped flame was seen floating after Leo fired it.

The girl opened her eyes and saw Leo taking Ariel with her.

"Ariel, you better go with them to safety, I'll call my Beast Sing and you go with them."

"Don't..."

Ariel pressed her hold on Leo, heard from her voice, she was very worried about Leo.

Leo stroked the top of the girl's head,

"Hey, hurry up and bring them. I won't do anything, I'll come back after I finish saving this village. Don't forget the fact that I'm the Guardians..."

Leo smiled gently at the girl, while the girl just stared sadly at the young man without replying.

"Alright, but you have to promise to come back after you've finished saving this village. I won't forgive you if you don't come back after!"

Ariel's voice sounded a little hoarse and tears dripped from her eyes. Leo smiled gently before letting go of the girl's embrace and calling out his Beast.

As usual, the Beast quickly came after Leo called out to him.

"Son, What Happened To This Village? Why Do I Feel There's So Much Malice Here?"

The Beast's heavy voice managed to scare away the two girls they had found before.

Without pausing again Leo helped Ariel and the two girls up to his Beast's back.

"Well, he won't hurt you, I guarantee him"

Leo showed a pretty calming expression to the girl and managed to persuade them to go up.

After everything had successfully climbed onto the back of the Lion Beast, Leo rushed to finish off the remaining Ashura around them.

"I leave them to you, quickly go!"

Without delaying anything else, the Beast instantly moved away from the village and brought the three girls on top of it towards a safer place.

Leo moved quickly before slashing Ashura around him.

"Fire Pride! The Soul Withering Sickness!"

Quickly the sickle-shaped flames burned whatever was around.

Leo continued his attack, a variety of decisive and quick movements demonstrated by Leo. In no time was Ashura seen again.

Leo continued his movements and ran quickly to the main part of the village.

Leo's movement was so fast that in a short time he had reached the main part of the village.

When he got there, a terrifying sight immediately greeted him.

Seen various buildings that previously stood firm, now began to collapse because of burning fire.

Without delaying any longer he moved beside the man and slashed his sword at Ashura,

"Fire God of Heaven! Fire Wheel!"

A spinning wheel-shaped flame burned the Ashura and disappeared after turning it into ash.

"You all right?"

Leo looked at the person, and he realized that the person was a girl.

"Y—Ya, I'm fine..."

The girl's face was still in shock and her legs did not stop trembling. A moment later, he shed his tears.

Leo simply watched the surroundings looking for where the people were going before finally telling the girl to go to a safer place.

"Hey, go up there. There are three other girls waiting for you to take cover, hurry up, I'll guarantee your safety"

The girl simply obeyed Leo's words and quickly ran towards the mountain where Ariel and the other two girls were waiting.

After the girl disappeared due to the distance, Leo rushed around the village once again.

Leo continued to run while looking around looking for the villagers, but only a few bodies were seen that had been buried in the ruins of the village.

After running for quite a long time Leo saw a large group of people led by a young man.

The young man had brownish-black hair with eyes that were light brown.

Leo saw the young man come forward to attack Ashura in front of him to protect the villagers behind him.

"Wind Gold! Vortex of Holiness!"

The young man slashed a sword in his hand and made a very sharp golden-colored wind vortex.

The attack managed to finish off several Ashuras at once, this made Leo stop his steps, and he just continued to watch the incident from a distance.

As much as possible Leo wants to hide his strength, even he has not used his aura in the slightest from the beginning of his fight.

The young man continued to attack Ashura in front of him, but now he was seen starting to get cornered because not only did Ashura attack from in front of him and started attacking from behind the young man.

Seeing an Ashura trying to lunged at the citizens from behind him the young man jumped up and attacked the Ashura from the air.

"Wind Gold! Purification Spear!"

A taper-shaped wind energy pierced that Ashura and instantly killed him quickly.

The young man is now further cornered when he realizes that the Ashuras deliberately lured him away from the residents and tried to attack the remaining residents.

The young man gnashed his teeth before again trying to jump, but quickly tens of Ashura attacked him.

The young man reluctantly attacked the Ashura in front of him and looked at the residents with a guilty look.

Tears flowed when he saw Ashura who was there began to hit the villagers.

"I'm sorry..."

The young man's voice sounded hoarse and sadness overflowed in his chest.

The claws of Ashura were almost upon the inhabitants, but a great blaze stopped them and burned the front row of Ashura.

Seen another young man is now swinging his sword to help the villagers who have been at the end of the horn.
