Ch.39 Nostalgia

"City attacked! City attacked! Get to the evacuation portal!" Exclaimed a City Guard who was then followed by the other City Guards.

"Go to the evacuation portal immediately! Just bring something you think is important and don't panic!" The previous City Guards again loudly exclaimed.

After some time, the entire street in the city was immediately filled with people jostling for safety.

In the meantime, it's pretty far south of town,

A young man with a girl in his arms moved at high speed towards the city.

"Is the Little Lion really there?" Ariel looked at Leo with a curious look on her face,

They had been moving for several days without stopping to look for the little Lion, hearing the young man before him saying that the lion was not far north made him feel a little relieved.

"I'm not sure, but based on his aura, he shouldn't be too far ahead"

After hearing the young man's answer, Ariel chose to re-submerge his face in the young man's body, Ariel's habit is still a question for Leo, but he never disputed it even though.

As time went on, it did not feel like the two had arrived near the city gate.

For them, breaking through this crowd alone was already very difficult let alone doing the same thing as that young man did.

After some time, Leo stopped his steps right in front of a City Guard.

"Are there any children left?" Ask Leo to the City Guards.

The City Guards immediately turned their eyes away and recalled the place that might still be inhabited by children.

"ah! I remember! Actually there is still one place that may still be inhabited, but we cannot go there because it is very dangerous for us" The guard showed a guilty look.

He knew as the City Guard he was the one who had to guard his territory and secure his citizens, no matter what the risks were.

"No need to think about it any further, just let me know quickly" Leo read the person's mind,

But for him, there was no better time than to directly save them than to have to wait longer and further harm them.

"Before that what was going on? Why did the whole city panic?" Leo stopped his steps.

The guard looked at Leo in surprise, he did not expect that anyone would not know the current situation of Bargh City.

"I'm from out of town, so I don't know anything" Leo again guessed the Guard's thoughts.

The guard looked back at Leo in surprise, wondering how the young man before him had read his mind twice.

"Are you a fortune teller?" He said with a surprised face.

"There's no time to answer that, answer my question first" Leo cut back.

The guard then remembered and immediately told Leo what had happened, quickly Leo understood the situation and stepped foot rushing to help the children who were at the location mentioned City Guards.

Not long after, he arrived in front of the location and he understood what the City Guards meant dangerous.

Just with his arrival, everyone who was there felt a great pressure on their bodies. This made the man wary, for not everyone could suppress him as the grandfather did.

The grandfather carved his smile before answering the man.

"Dethyus, have you forgotten me? Aren't we great partners before? Have all our journeys been lost to you? Does being evil make you forget all our memories?" Grandpa's smile turned cold.

The man called as Dethyus frowned, should not be many who know him, especially with his current appearance, although once he admitted, the face of the grandfather was not unfamiliar in his mind.

"Dethyus? He was the former Second Strongest General? Dethyus the Snow Wolf God!?" General Darth could not hide his surprise, he knew that there were rumors saying that General Dethyus had come out of the Kingdom and formed his own military group to destroy the Kingdom, he himself did not believe this at first, until he saw for himself the person who was currently in front of him.

"If he is Dethyus, then this man!?" General Darth finally recognized the grandfather beside him, once again he put on a surprised face when he recognized the grandfather.

The grandfather looked at Darth for a moment before stroking the General's head, "Not bad Darth, you caught up with me" The grandfather carved his smile back.

Seeing this, Dethyus increasingly felt familiar with the grandfather.

"You, Myrthe!?" Dethyus exclaimed loudly at the grandfather, he only realized, there is only one person who has the Aura like the grandfather, he said, and most importantly there is only one person who can recognize it in one eye-to-eye.

Grandpa Myrthe laughed lightly in response to the man before him, although he looked young, the age of the two was actually not much different.

"So? Will you withdraw your troops for this old friend?" Myrthe's grandfather carved a warm smile on his lips, clearly having no intention of fighting at all on him.

Dethyus laughed out loud in response to the grandfather's remark, "Pulling all my troops? If I can do everything I want, what am I standing here for? You don't know anything Myrthe! Since you left, things have not gone better! It's even worse than before!" Dethyus snorted angrily, he recalled the thing he wanted to forget the most.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't do anything that time either, you know? I really wanted to go home back then, just like you, I couldn't." Myrthe lowered his head, he did not expect his past mistakes to end badly on that fellow.

"Have you been satisfied with words? If it had been let's continue our affairs, nothing could be solved with just words!" Dethyus raised his weapon,

It was seen that a very large and long sword was within his grasp.

"I've forgotten my past Myrthe, all I have in mind now is my future!" Dethyus spurred the Wolf on, not long after he advanced, the army behind him followed him and took up their weapons.

"Let's finish this once and for all!" Dethyus cried while swinging his great sword.

Grandpa Myrthe sighed, he knew all would not be possible to walk as he expected.

With a heavy heart, he took his gun, and,

A Dragon-carved sword was seen in his hand, after sighing deeply, he swung his sword.

"Aura Dragons! Dragon Soar To The Sky!"

Quickly his slash formed the Aura Waves and struck the enemy troops moving towards him.

Under the snow-covered moonlight, the battle in front of the City Gate had finally begun, within a short period of time great damage had occurred in the area.
