Chapter 91

4 Months earlier, Hospital.

"Pig!" Rashaad who was standing at the end of the operating room door immediately ran over when he saw Anggi fall unconscious.

"Doctor! Doctor!" Shouted Rashaad in panic as he lifted Anggi's body into his sling.

Some doctors who were waiting in the next room then deftly approached Rashaad and directed the man to the next room where there were 1 empty gurney.

Rashaad immediately laid Anggi down slowly and let the doctor take over afterwards. Suddenly from the operating room where Reynald's body was still lying there was a sound of something.

Tit.. Tit.. Tit..

A nurse ran over a monitor that was still connected to Reynad's body. It looks like a chart that moves up although not significant. The nurse was immediately moved to run to the doctor who was examining Anggi.

"Doc! The patient's heart rate is detected again!". Shouted the sister.

"Come in touch with another doctor! Hurry along!" The doctor immediately left Anggi who was indicated to have fainted from shock and will regain consciousness within the next few hours.

Renata and Andre who had been standing outside were surprised not to play when they saw some doctors re-enter the operating room.

"What is this sus?" Renata asked stopping a nurse's steps.

"The patient's heart is back beating, sorry I'm sorry" said the nurse walked quickly to leave Renata shocked.

"Andre.. You hear that? Reynald, ndre.. Reynald's... My cousin... Returning.. You heard, right? Damnit. He's a tough guy!" Said Renata while sobbing haru.

Andre patted Renata on the shoulder with his mouth closed, unable to answer anything. But the famous cold man was secretly shedding tears. It's a miracle. Reynald, his little friend back is a miracle to him. Andre knows.. Reynald would never give up on life!

Rashaad who is still accompanying Anggi in the next room can be seen peering from behind the glass that shows directly the activities of the team of doctors who are trying. He turned to look at Anggi who was still lying unconscious, then Rashaad turned back to look at Reynald's body.

Rashaad sighed softly. He lifted his head up and looked at the ceiling. Lord... Let them both be together and happy. After the grievous things that they pass apart, allow these two human beings to unite in happiness.

"How long has my heart stopped?" Ask one of the doctors.

"About 8 minutes since CPR was stopped and pronounced dead, doc". An anesthesiologist answers from behind the monitor.

One doctor gave the heart a low-strength shock, and the other put oxygen on Reynald's face.

I heard a few breaths from the doctor team. Some of them seemed to be rubbing their faces slowly. Rashaad peeked out from behind the glass and moved right to left trying to peek. He tried to see Reynald who was blocked by some body doctor who just kept silent did nothing.

With curiosity and worry, Rashaad finally ventured to open the door that connects directly to the operating room.

A team of doctors approached Rashaad. "Mr Reynald is back. Now we have to do a thorough examination of his neurological system".

Rashaad sighs in relief. He's happy. Of course he sincerely felt happy.

"What really happened to the doctor?" Ask Rashaad.

The doctor immediately directed Rashaad to get out of the operating room, because after all the operating room should be a sterile room.

"Mr Reynald suffered a traumatic cardiac arrest. Trauma that causes a person's heart to stop beating due to blunt or puncture trauma. In the case of patients, I can estimate this blunt trauma caused by a very hard impact on the chest. We had done CPR before at the time when his heart stopped while sewing a torn wound to his head, but it didn't work and in the end we declared the patient dead".

Rashaad frowned in confusion. "How can his heart beat again? Don't you say it's God's power. Because if you don't even put in more effort, my friend might not be saved. So I need a reasonable explanation other than the power of God". Rashaad looked at the doctor very seriously.

The doctor also chuckled a little. "I, as a doctor, have seen much of God's power in the patients I have been caring for".

"A doctor can sentence the age of the patient, but if the will of God is different then it does not mean the doctor is wrong. We are only trying, but what determines remains the Owner of Life, right?"

Rashaad was silent trying to digest the doctor's explanation. "Then can this suri death have an adverse effect on the patient? His heart stopped, all his organs stopped. Will he be okay after he wakes up? Can he live a normal life again?"

"We'll find out in a minute because the team of doctors is observing".

Yep. Reynald was in intensive care for 4 months. Because the man had experienced temporary paralysis on his left body which did get the biggest impact during the accident.

For 4 months Anggi took care of Reynald wholeheartedly. He hoped Reynald could return to his old life. Reynald who is handsome and charming in his eyes. 4 months Anggi always cry alone because of a heartache. He was very happy to see Reynald back, but he was also not until the heart saw Reynald who was helpless.

Rose, Reynald's mother accompanied Anggi while taking care of her son. During the 4 months they also know each other because every day spent together in the hospital until finally the happy day came.

Today is where Anggi's day will be Reynald's mistress. The man who made her fall in love for the first time.

Anggi looked at Reynald with her eyes open and commented on the sweet smile.

"I promise to love you until the end of my life, to accompany you in joy and sorrow, to love you, to guide you, to protect you with all my soul, I will always stay by your side no matter what happens, I will not leave you, I will be the light of your life, even if we are in darkness, I will hold your hand and will never let go, trust me. I won't tarnish the holy love we have." Reynald stared softly right at Anggi's bead of eyes.

The man rubbed the tears that fell onto Anggi's cheek and commented a smile. "Thank you for sticking by my side and keeping me company when I'm going through a tough time"

Anggi was crying. This was truly the day she dreamed of. The day that never thought would happen but fate says something else.

Reynald drew his face closer to Anggi. The man's breath felt warm on Anggi's cheeks to cause a reddish tinge.

Anggi then closed his eyes and felt Reynald's soft lips kiss his lips long enough to finally hear the sound of applause from all the guests present.

Reynald took off the link of their lips and smiled looking at Anggi who blushed in embarrassment. Reynald spread his gaze in all directions. See one by one the people present. He threw a sincere smile from the bottom of his heart. Reynald and Anggi chose to hold a private party that was only attended by family and relatives and relations are very familiar one of them like Rashaad.

"Mama?" There was a voice interrupting Reynald and Anggi. The two then looked down at Jessy who was staring at Anggi with a difficult look.

"I have to call Aunty Anggi with mama now, Dad?" Jessy turned to look at Reynald.

Reynald stood on his knees to align himself with Jessy. He stroked his daughter's hair lovingly. "Yes. You can call her Mama"

"Mama's like Mommy? Why not just call Mommy?"

"Mommy stays for Mommy Clara. She gave birth to you. She's still your mother. So for Aunty Anggi, you have to differentiate. Whether it's Mama or Mama, it's up to you, baby. Now Aunty Anggi is your Mama"

Jessy then looked at Anggi closely. The little girl who will soon turn 7 years old. "Mama! It's Mama Anggi and it's Mommy Clara!" Jessy said with a big smile and turned to look at Clara who was standing not far from them.

Reynald stood up and looked at Clara. The woman stepped closer and stopped right in front of Reynald. He extended his hand to Reynald.

"Congratulations Rey... I hope this time you're really happy" Clara said sincerely. Reynald nodded and shook hands with Clara.

"Thank you Clara. To... Everything". Said Reynald who was influenced by Clara.

Clara then turned to Anggi. "May I hug you?" Clara asked with a smile. Anggi nodded and the two embraced.

"I'm sorry for my attitude. Be happy. Love Reynald with all your heart. He's a good guy. And.... I'm leaving my daughter to you.. I can't always accompany him. I don't mind you giving her a mother figure... Jessy loves you too..." Said Clara slowly from behind Anggi's body.

Clara extended her embrace and looked at Anggi with teary eyes. He smiled as he walked away from Reynald and Anggi.

"Bro.. Is your body really strong enough to split something tonight?" Gavin's whisper was suddenly behind Reynald's body.
