Reynald the CEO

Chapter 10

"Where are you going Reynald?! Soon you'll have to attend a meeting with investors!". Renata reminded when he saw Reynald was about to leave after receiving a phone from whom.

"It's more important than that meeting. Move over!". Reynald.

Renata spread her arms in front of Reynald. His gaze drew sharp as if emitting a laser beam right towards his arbitrary cousin.

"No! You're not gonna let me just walk away and take your responsibility off!". Renata was upset.

"You!". Reynald glared furiously.

"What?!". Renata no less glared at Reynald. Now he was shaking his waist while still staring intently at Reynald.

"You've changed since the woman's departure! You're numbering your work. Remember Reynald, you're the CEO! The company depends on you! Do you want to go now with that woman?!". Renata.

Reynald let out a rough sigh and looked at Renata. "The detective I hired said that there was activity from my Black Card at a hospital in Lombok. The Black Card I gave to Clara from the beginning. Who else would have used that card if it wasn't him?". Reynald.

"This time it's Ren.. This time I promise you. If he doesn't find me there, I'll stop looking for him". Reynald continued with a pleading look at his cousin.

Renata stared intensely at Reynald. He was sick of seeing his cousin look weak because of a woman.

"You're sure this info is valid? The detective I hired for 5 months hasn't given me any info yet!". Renata.

"This is the latest news 10 minutes ago! You just wait a minute someone's gonna report to you".

And sure enough, not long Renata's phone rang. Renata then picked up the phone and listened to someone who spoke to him through the phone connection. His eyes immediately stared at Reynald and the handsome man simply raised his eyebrows while smiling sideways.

Renata then ended the phone connection and sighed harshly. "All right.. You gotta keep your word, Rey. Only this time. If you fail to find him, stop looking for him or I'll report to Uncle Dave that you abandoned the company for months!". Renata Threat.

Dave is the father of Reynald who lives in Germany and always asks Renata for news of his son like a spy. But all this time Renata always kindly covered Reynald's behavior and did not say a word about Reynald who has a lover or even as it is today.

Reynald clasped Renata's shoulders with a happy face. "Thank you, Ren! I'll make sure you get a reward for this".

Renata turned the ball into a puff of an eye. "Yes.. Yep.. It's up to you..."

Reynald immediately left while calling someone to prepare his jet. He thought it would be faster to use a private jet than a commercial plane when rushed in urgent circumstances like now.

Reynald stepped in the lobby quickly. The employees who are aware that their CEO is around then just try to say hello and bow a little. But Reynald did not give everyone a greeting and just passed towards his car with the driver who was standing waiting.

"Sir, we're going to the airport. Hurry up sir!". Reynald said when he got into the car and gave instructions to his driver.

"Good, Sir".

The car also split the streets of the capital. During the day as it is now the traffic is quite quiet and smooth so that makes Reynald can get to the airport quickly as he wants.

Reynald hired Pilot and also a reliable and best flight attendant to serve him when he was traveling. Only selected and trusted people can serve a Reynald directly.

"Is there a car waiting for us?". Reynald asked, breaking the silence.

"Yes. I've arranged it". Andre said briefly.

Andre, a 28-year-old man who is the second assistant after Renata and Reynald's little friend. If Renata takes care of Reynald's personal matters more, Andre is hired to take care of Reynald's needs in the office. But this time Andre was asked by Renata to accompany Reynald to go on guard if Reynald was crazy when he did not find Clara in Lombok.

"You just go straight to the hotel and you don't have to follow me to the hospital". Reynald.

"No. I'm going to the hospital". Andre said while leaning his back to the back.

"I'm not a child to be followed" Reynald grumbled in disbelief.

"But you're like a child when it comes to Clara. You don't remember what you've done in these 5 months?". Andre.

Reynald shrugged his shoulders indifferently. He doesn't care. Other people do not even care and feel empathy for him when he feels lost and desperate in looking for his lover.

"Who is the boss here? You or me?". Reynald was upset.

"You're the boss. But I also wouldn't lose my job if the company I worked for suddenly went bankrupt because its CEO wasn't good at leading the company just because of women". Obviously Andre was straightforward.

"My company won't be that easy to go bankrupt!". Reynald said, throwing 1 almond in the direction of Andre.

"It can happen if you keep going like this".

"Or maybe worse you'll be deposed by your own father if you know everything". Andre is scaring Reynald.

"That's it! Okay, you can follow me to the hospital. Satisfied? You and Renata are the same. There is no empathy at all with my circumstances. Fucking singles!". Umpar Reynald is upset.

Reynald then turned to look out the window at the white cloud like cotton. If there is a doraemon, the taste is interesting if it can turn a beautiful cloud into a large bed and lie on it without burden.

Hope I find you this time, Clara. Please lah.. This is my last chance to find you.

Reynald sat there while enjoying the view of the clouds from the window of his private jet.
