Reynald whistled while tidying his hair with a pomade in front of the mirror. His dashing body was already wrapped in a navy-colored tuxedo suit with a white shirt inside. Reynald turned to the door of his room. "Come in, Jes!"

"Dad, Mom just called me. She said Mom would pick me up from school!"

"Mommy asked me to stay at her apartment. Can you, Dad?"

Instead of answering, Jessy hugged Reynald's body. "Is Daddy okay I'm living alone?"

Reynald chuckled amusedly at the sad tone of his daughter. "I'm fine. Go to Mommy's. He must have missed you so much too". Reynald said, holding Jessy's tiny body back.

Arriving at the office, Reynald immediately headed for his study. Just now that he had entered, Renata and Andre had already followed him from behind. Reynald sat down in his great chair and looked back at the two people standing at his desk.

"What else?"

Renata placed a stack of files on Reynald's desk. "This is all you have to check today".

Andre also put an iPad with a screen that lights up towards Reynald. "And this... You should check the email from the branch company that is in Dubai".

Reynald frowned at Andre. "Is there a problem there?".

"No.. No. gabe. That's good news. You check it yourself". Said Andre while raising his chin towards the iPad lying on the table.

"alright.. You guys can go".

"Oh yeah Rey, don't forget you'll have a meeting with the Maverick Company". Sahut Renata reminded.

"Yes.. Yep.. I recall. So come out first you two so I can check this out immediately" Reynald put both his hands on the stack of files and iPad while his eyes stared intently at Renata and Andre.

"Are you going straight to Maverick Company now?". Renata asked who approached him.

"Yes. Have lunch together"

"OKAY. Are you going straight back to the penthouse when you're done from there or back at the office?" Ask Renata again.

"Hm.. I don't know yet. Jessy wasn't in the penthouse for a few days. So I feel lonely if I go home quickly" Reynald replied chuckling.

"Is Clara coming home?"

Reynald nodded. "Yes. Clara asked my permission to take Jessy"

Renata fizzed back at his cousin. "Basic widower sucks!" Aspersion.

The Maverick Company

"Let's take Mr. Reynald upstairs". Said one of the assistant CEOs of the company he was visiting at this time.

Reynald said nothing and only followed the assistant of a young woman he knew named Beautiful. Both of them entered the special elevator of the directors.

Shortly after, the elevator doors opened on the top floor. Lovely immediately stepped towards the CEO's room and knocked on the door that looked sturdy before opening it.

"Sir, your guest has arrived". Lovely words stepped in followed by Reynald.

"You're! You can just go straight to my floor, why bother my assistant to keep picking you up downstairs?" A middle-aged man who is none other than Hendra Wibrata.

"I'm lazy to the receptionist" Reynald said indifferently, sitting himself on the couch.

"Go Beautiful.. Don't forget to order lunch" Hendra told his assistant.

"I thought lunch was there, knew I didn't have to come here this fast" Reynald grumbled.

Hendra crossed his legs while chuckling amusedly. "So I had an important meeting. You know I just got into a partnership with your best friend Gavin's company. Thank you for giving that big project to my company instead of your company".

Reynald raised his shoulders. "My company is tired of doing fantastic projects. So I'm being kind to give it to you"

Really, anyone who sees the look on Reynald's face right now may be eager to hit Reynald with something so haughty that man. Hendra laughed softly. The middle-aged man had known Reynald well during his company's years of cooperation.

"Are we going to talk about business first before the food comes?" Ask Hendra.

"Better so. I want to offer you a new project that some other company might follow. But I'm sure you'll be very enthusiastic and will try to win the tender for this project"

Hendra leaned his body towards Reynald feeling interested. "How much is the project worth?"

"Around.........."

"Yeahahhh!" The voice of a call from a woman along with the sound of an open door interrupting the two.

Hendra raised his head and smiled broadly when he saw who had come. Hendra stood up to.

"Good God.. When did you come to Jakarta? Why didn't you tell me?". Hendra asked with a happy face.

"Sorry Dad.. I want to surprise you hehehehe".

"I just got there at 7am and went home to rest for a while". Said Anggi while chuckling slowly.

Anggi turned to look at a man who was sitting on the sofa with his back. "Ah.. Sorry Dad I'm not very polite.. I didn't know you had a guest. It wasn't beautiful outside, so I just went in". Said Anggi while scratching his nape feeling unwell.

Hendra smiled knotfully and held his daughter's hand. "No problem..."

"Then I go first, I'll come back later. I'll go to the restaurant next door for lunch".

Hendra quickly prevented Anggi. "Lunch here. I haven't had lunch either".

"But Dad.. Her guests...."

"It's okay if my daughter joins lunch here, Reynald?". Timpal Hendra turned to look at Reynald who was still quietly sitting on his back to them.

Suddenly hearing the word Reynald from the lips of the Father made Anggi's heart just melt. He looked at a man who had been silent since his arrival. Increasingly surprised again when Anggi's eyes saw the movement of the man's body that stood and turned to face towards him.

"Of course it doesn't matter". Said Reynald while opposing views with Anggi.
