Wedding Day
The atmosphere in a Grand Ballroom of a well-known hotel in the Capital City is really busy. Beautiful flower arrangements dotted around every corner. The vibe of luxury is very pronounced for anyone who sees it.
The buffet table looks tempting which is arranged in such a way by the waitresses in black and white uniforms. There are already some complementary foods that are beautifully arranged.
The nuances of the Grand Ballroom were conjured into golden brown. Clara's favorite color, the queen on this day.
While on the other hand, in a main dressing room special family. Reynald was sitting staring at himself who was being made up by a makeup artist. His face was given a little foundation and powder. Not to forget the natural color lip tint.
"Please make her face not look pale". Rose said to the fairy.
"You too! Already know want to get married this morning, why not sleep all night?!". Rose turned to nagging her son.
"See face! So it's like an undead!".
Dave walked over to the angry Rose. "That's dear. What matters is that he's here, isn't he?". Dave calmed his wife down and immediately patted the son on the shoulder.
Reynald glanced at Dave from the mirror and saw Dave throw a warm smile while nodding thinly as if implying what his son had done was the right thing.
Minutes passed until Reynald was as handsome as ever. His sturdy and tall body was wrapped in a pitch-black tuxedo suit. A bow tie wrapped around his neck behind the shirt.
Rose slipped a short-cut white rose into her tuxedo pocket. Rose combed her son's appearance from top to bottom and unconsciously shed tears.
"Oh my goodness my son is getting married..."
"I'm so happy".
Rose hugged Reynald tightly and patted his son's back gently.
"I know your heart is hurting, son. Don't you think I don't know... It's just... I want you to take responsibility for what you did. I'm a woman. I know your position is very difficult. But I'm sure the woman you're forced to let go of for this marriage will understand your decision".
Rose held out her embrace and looked at the son with warmth. Reynald smiled faintly. He realized that there was no way for his relationship with Anggi.
An hour later...
The Grand Ballroom has been seen filled by invited guests. The round table spread out on two sides was already filled.
Before long the ballroom lights were turned off to highlight to one side right in the middle of the stage. The piano sounds so beautiful and soothing. The classic wedding day-themed notes are played very nicely.
A main door was opened and all eyes were turned in that direction. It was there that Clara stood in her elegant white dress wrapped around her slender body.
Slowly Clara walked up to the small black carpeted stage. The floodlight moved in his footsteps.
"He's so pretty".
"He deserves that young CEO".
"God... Clara's lucky!".
"Say they got married secretly a year ago and actually had a baby".
There are whispers present in Renata's sense of hearing. He opened his mouth. You're all fooled! Renata muttered in his heart. He did not expect an end like this that his cousin had to live. Is this the end? Renata wondered inwardly as he looked at Reynald and Clara who were already standing side by side.
Time passed so quickly that it arrived at the end of the event. Dave has instructed an old friend who is the head of the largest media company in the country to send some of his best employees to cover the event of the introduction of the grandson to the public.
Reynald, Clara, Dave, Rose and not to forget Jessy, the granddaughter who was in Clara's arms, all stood side by side in front of some reporters who were preparing to do an interview. The blitz lamp was very felt to highlight the eyes making Reynald puffed. It was different with Clara. The woman's face looked very happy. This is the moment where he can plunge back into the world of entertainment.
Journalists ask questions after questions about the relationship between the two that is not at all sniffed by the media.
"How long have you been dating?".
"Why has your relationship been covered up all this time?".
"Where was your marriage last year?".
"Are you going to be active again in the entertainment world?".
"Please show us your daughter's face".
Inexhaustibly the reporters flocked them with all the questions and were answered well by Clara and Reynald.
On the other hand, in the most remote corner of the ballroom, Anggi was standing staring at Reynald who was holding a press conference. Sometimes he wipes away his tears that just come down.
Anggi wiped his tears and a smile was etched on his lips.
"I don't deserve to stand between them all. Look at that woman... I didn't expect that famous artist to be his ex. I'm nothing more than a speck of dust compared to him...."
Anggi monologues with himself while continuing to wipe his tears that wet his face.
"Goodbye, Rey... May you be happy with your new family".
Anggi stared intensely at Reynald who seemed to have just finished his press conference. Anggi then immediately turned around and stepped slowly leaving the ballroom with a broken heart.

"Dam.. I'm so tired". Reynald said as he had just entered the dressing room and sat himself on a sofa.
Suddenly the door to the dressing room again opened violently until Reynald cursed. Andre entered in a hurry and immediately gave Reynald a small box.
Reynald stared at the little box. "What'sthis? You gave me a wedding present?". Reynald asked frowned.
"Hurry open it".
Reynald grabbed the box from Andre's hand and opened it immediately. A second later Reynald froze. His gaze was locked when he saw the contents of the box.
"So there was a servant who came up to me and said there was a woman who put this on him to give it to you". Andre explained to Reynald.
With trembling hands Reynald grabbed a car key, a black card and two necklaces. Necklace shaped small pendant. Reynald hapal it was all his gift to Anggi. But Reynald frowned when he saw one other necklace. He never gave the necklace to the girl.
Reynald noticed the round pendant necklace was quite large. He turned the locket and tried to open it. Reynald was shocked by a small photo in the necklace. The photo with Anggi who was laughing in a wet shirt while playing in a waterfall.
Reynald saw a small piece of paper and read it immediately.
Please throw that necklace away for me. I can't afford to throw it away. May you be happy and goodbye, Rey.
Reynald squeezed the little paper and restored his coarse hair. He raised his head with his reddened eyes holding back the searing emotional turmoil within him.
"Damn it!!!!". Reynald shouted as he stood up and ran out of the dressing room.
Andre who saw his best friend like that could only shut up. He also felt sorry for Reynald but he was also confused what to do. Andre immediately grabbed the items left behind by Anggi and put them back in the box. He then put the box in his pocket to give back to Reynald after the man was calm.
Meanwhile Reynald ran small down the ballroom area and did not get the figure of the woman he was looking for.
Reynald then the road was scattered leaving the hotel lobby area. He then immediately went to one side of the hotel which included the exit but not the main exit of the hotel.
Reynald's gaze ran around and there hoping to find Anggi. Until accidentally the corner of his eye caught a body silhouette. Reynald stepped quickly with a pounding heart. The longer the figure looked real in his eyes.
Reynald swiftly pulled Anggi's arm from behind to almost make the girl fall but soon Reynald put up with his body.
Anggi who was surprised because his body was just pulled back, was even more surprised to see who was behind him.
The two looked at each other deeply. As if only through the radiance of the eyes is enough to convey all the flavors that exist between them.
Anggi severed the gaze between them and sighed slowly.
"Why are you here?".
Reynald looked at Anggi with a scarred look.
"I can't Anggi..." Reynald said in a sad tone.
Anggi then grabbed Reynald's hands and looked at the man right into his bead.
"You can do it.."
"I'll live as well as you want. I will reach my dreams as high as you want. I'm gonna do it".
Anggi commented a warm smile on his lips. His eyes were teary but with all his might Anggi held himself back from crying in front of Reynald. He wanted to give his last memories with a smile instead of a cry.
"Remember this smile of mine, Rey. I promise I'll always smile through my days after tonight".
Anggi carved out the sweetest smile Reynald had seen from a woman.
