Reynald the CEO

Reynald the CEO
Chapter 90

Anggi stood on the edge of the cliff watching the sunset behind the dancing waves and always amazed him. Sunset is Reynald's favorite. The man always stared at the sunset from his penthouse balcony as well as from behind his office window.

Anggi raised his head upwards staring at the clouds with a deep reddish tinge. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He stared at a diamond ring on his ring finger. Unknowingly her tears trickled down her cheeks. Anggi immediately rubbed it and smiled faintly.

He stared back at the golden-coloured circle that descended bit by bit as if disappearing away leaving it for darkness. Anggi squeezed his chest as if the pain was very real hitting him.

What does it mean to lose, if it is unable to awaken consciousness? Anggi was slapped so hard he saw Reynald's body lying on the operating table. As loud as he shouted, the man's eyes remained closed until a blow in his heart just burst out. Anggi realized he did not want to lose Reynald. He could not live without that man.

Anggi realized in life surely everyone will experience loss be it because of separation, not mate or die. The only way to survive is to let go. But no.... Anggi could never afford to lose Reynald.

Anggi's thoughts glared back to a while ago when he received Reynald for the second time. The man was so happy that he hugged and kissed her repeatedly. Again Anggi's heart as in crumbs.

"I never knew the love I felt for you would be this deep. You taught me how to respect women, there's nothing else I'm going to hide from you... Clara and I used to be a free-dating style until Jessy was born accidentally. But after I got to know you, I realized what holy love means. Love does not always have to be expressed in bed, especially if we are not married. I also really want to take care of you. trying hard not to touch you even though I really want to hehehehee"

"I've been drowning for a long time.. Probably since the last time I stepped out of your house that night. The night I was honest about what happened to me, about Clara and Jessy. From that night on, I knew I wasn't the Reynald I used to be. But circumstances led me to stay away from you, to release you even if it didn't fit my conscience. I lost myself that night. I don't know if there's enough time for me to be myself? To be a man, do I have to sacrifice my own feelings?"

Anggi squeezed his chest when he remembered Reynald's words that always ringed in his mind. Anggi regretted not treating Reynald with all his heart when the two of them got back together. Anggi fortified himself for fear that he would be disappointed again. Although Reynald spent months showering him with all the love he had, Anggi only opened his heart a little.

Marriage, affairs feelings, love, hatred... It's not all that simple as it looks. Sometimes it can not be explained, sometimes filled with misunderstandings, sometimes filled with sadness and misfortune.

Anggi loves Reynald. I love that guy so much. Now he is more vocal about his feelings. Is it too late? Anggi doesn't care.

The atmosphere was already quite dim because the sun had sunk perfectly. Anggi closed his eyes feeling the gusts of wind that hit him incessantly. Impregnate and listen to the sound of the waves hitting the rock. It was like therapy for him. From that day on, the sea was his escape. Reynald loved the ocean.

"People..." Call someone from behind.

Anggi opened his eyes and turned his head. Her lips covered a faint smile seeing Rashaad step over to her.

The man took off the suit he was wearing and attached it to Anggi's shoulder. "You can catch a cold".

"Since when did the term wind in known by foreigners?" Ask Anggi chuckles.

"Since I've been hanging out with Andre and Renata. They are both poison to me" Rashaad laughed at Anggi who was throwing his gaze towards the sea.

"When are you going back to Abu Dhabi? You've been leaving your company long enough". Anggi turned to look at Rashaad.

"You've also left your company there long enough. Don't you feel sorry for Mila?"

Anggi bowed lethargic. "I don't have any reason to go back there, Rashaad. I used to work hard there to run from Reynald... But now......" Anggi hangs his words.

"I plan to ask Mila to continue my company. I don't know.. I can't think about it any deeper at the moment" Anggi continued.

Rashaad nodded his head in understanding. "For your company there you don't have to worry. I'll put my confidant there. Right now what matters is you... I can't go home to my country until I make sure you're okay".

Anggi smile. "Of course I'm fine, Rashaad".

Anggi threw his gaze towards the ocean. "I'm.happy....."

"I'm looking for you everywhere Anggi! It turns out you're here". Someone interrupted Anggi and Rashaad's conversation.

Renata looked at Anggi's face carefully. Scrutinizing inch by inch Anggi's face until finally the woman exhaled softly. "You crying again?"

"I told you not to cry.. Look at your eyes! For months you're like an undead. Life is dying don't want to!" Omel Renata's.

"Don't be too hard on him. You should always be alone. Where there is a man who can stand your mouth is Renata" Cibir Rashaad.

Renata glared towards Rashaad. "Shut up! I'm upset with you too! Instead of bringing Anggi inside, you're accompanying him here"

Rashaad chuckled softly. "Surrender..." Rashaad said as he stepped away leaving Anggi and Renata together.

Renata then looked at Anggi with sharp eyes. "When are you like this?"

Anggi smiled sweetly. "I promise today is my last day like this. I promise..." Anggi raised his little finger to Renata to make the woman chuckle softly.

"Let's go in" Invite Renata while pulling slowly Anggi, hugging Anggi's shoulder with one hand.

Anggi stepped in while circulating his gaze around. He sighed softly and raised his head back up trying to hold back the tears to go down his face.

Renata checked at a glance Anggi's face and pressed the end of the tissue at the corner of Anggi's eye so that the tears that pooled disappeared.

"Smile Anggi.. Don't let your tears out again. You've been crying for months. Okay?"

Anggi nodded slowly and threw a smile at Renata. Renata opened a large door full of wood.

Anggi stepped in slowly. All eyes looked towards him. Anggi tried to calm himself by taking a breath and as much as possible threw a best smile on his lips.

Until a big hand grips his hand gently. Warm hands to be able to channel a sense of calm on him. Anggi looked at the owner of the hand. His eyes glazed over until unknowingly tears escaped wetting his cheeks.

The man rubbed the side of Anggi's face with gentleness. "I told you not to cry anymore, baby"

Hearing the man's words instead of making Anggi stop. He even cried even harder to make everyone in the room giggle amused.

"I told you this is my happy cry.." Sahut Anggi while wiping his cheeks original.

"When do I make a sacred promise if the bride cries like this?"

Anggi. Yep. Is correct. He had to stop crying so that his wedding to Reynald could be held soon.
