Reynald the CEO

Reynald the CEO
Chapter 84

Three Months Later...

Since that night when Anggi read an email from Rashaad, it was the last time they never communicated again. Rashaad hasn't called her since that night. Not tomorrow, not any other day. It finally didn't feel like 3 months.

There was a time when Anggi felt like calling Rashaad and asking for his news, but then the anger and disappointment in the man prevented him. Anggi also has a principle, he thinks Rashaad is the one who should call him and fight for it.

But there was a time when Anggi felt very fragile and unstable. To this day he convinced himself to meet Rashaad.

Anggi grabbed his phone that was on the table and immediately pressed Rashaad's number. Sounding continuous but not lifted. Anggi turned off his phone connection and stared at his phone screen for a moment until he tried again calling Rashaad a second time, not picked up and a third time also not.

Anggi sighed and felt stupid. What did he expect? Rashaad may have moved on. Moreover, Anggi did not hear the news for three months.

Anggi then immediately took his handbag as well as the car keys. He doesn't care! Today he must meet Rashaad!

It only takes about 45 minutes to Rashaad's office from his office. Anggi then immediately entered and asked the receptionist to convey a message that he came to see Rashaad. But maybe today is not Anggi's lucky day because it turns out Rashaad is meeting outside the office.

Anggi walked slowly to return to the parking lot and I don't know if the goddess forortuna was accompanying him, Anggi saw a car commonly used by Rashaad was seen just parked his car in a special area where the area was only intended for company officials.

Anggi then stepped quickly towards Rashaad's car and as expected, Rashaad got out of the car.

"Rashade..." Anggi called out slowly.

Rashaad turned his body and looked surprised. His expression was like seeing a ghost in broad daylight. But Rashaad quickly changed his expression and looked at Anggi with a difficult expression.

"People.."

"Why didn't you say you were coming here?". Ask Rashaad.

Anggi put on a small smile. "So I called you, but I wasn't picked up" Sahut Anggi tried to be normal.

Rashaad quickly reached into his cell phone from inside his suit pocket. "Ah Geez.. I'm sorry I forgot, it's been meeting with my relationship and my phone is silent".

Anggi smiled hearing that. "I want to talk to you if possible now" Anggi said to the point.

Rashaad then looked at the bodyguard and the driver. "You go first. I'm going back to the car"

"Come in. Do you mind if we chat in the car? Because if you go to my room it will take time, while I see you are impatient" said Rashaad trying to throw a joke.

Anggi stared at Rashaad for a moment and nodded his head. "No problem. Your car is very comfortable" Sahut Anggi while getting into the car.

A few minutes there was only silence in the car until Anggi felt very upset.

"Rashaad, I came here just to ask you a few things" Anggi said, breaking the silence.

"Ask..."

"First, what is our current status? I'm tired of Rashaad. You seem to just disappear from me or maybe dodge? I don't know.. Only you know for sure. I want to move on when it turns out everything is clear. I'm tired of unclear situations like this...."

"Figures.. Everything has changed". Speak carefully Rashaad.

"You're with someone else?"

"Oh..No. gabe.. It's not like that." Rashaad's refutation is quick. "You know that I'm not easy to fall in love with... And I still love you so much"

"But?" Anggi interrupted impatiently.

Rashaad sighed before continuing.

"Not that I don't want to tell you anything or anything, but ever since I decided to postpone our wedding plans, I've been thinking more. About ours... And honestly I don't know how to start again either"

Anggi increasingly frowned deeply. "I don't understand what you're talking about Rashaad".

"The situation is different. I'm transformed. Be honest... Since that night I worked like a horse. I need an escape. None of this is easy for me either".

"Figures.. I'm mistaken.. I'm a coward and I'm ashamed that you came to see me for our problems. Should've...But you know what? Actually, it's not that I don't want to call you, but I'm too scared to know how you're doing. Afraid that what I thought was really happening and I wasn't ready to figure it out". Rashaad said with a very serious expression and a sad look.

"Did you think when you left, I immediately turned to chase after Reynald? You're wrong Rashaad. You don't know me at all..."

"I don't seem to know you either. The Rashaad I know can't possibly think that way" Anggi said with a disappointed look.

"I knew.. I-i know.. I'm a fool, right? I feel blinded by my own fears because of my feelings for you" Rashaad said slowly.

"I met Reynald last week. We're both not talking about personal matters. But honest... I can't..."

"I haven't changed Rashaad".

"But I changed..." Typal Rashaad fast. "My feelings for you haven't changed one bit... I don't want to go that way anymore".

Anggi. Trying to digest Rashaad's words.

"Ah.. I understand" Anggi said slowly.

"You're right. Maybe we don't have to go that way anymore. Reynald's name is still in the corner of my heart. But do you also know that I learned Rashaad. When I learned to love you, you did all the silly things that you do now".

Somehow Anggi described his current feelings. But Anggi feels that his story with Rashaad is over here.

But Anggi did not regret coming to see Rashaad today. At least he tried and he didn't expect more. Anggi will be very sorry if he does not do so and continues to wonder about Rashaad. At least now He began to walk again, even with just one small step.

"People.." Call Rashaad quietly.

Anggi looked at Rashaad with a smile. "I understand".

Rashaad hugged Anggi's body tightly for a long time. Anggi knew that he would feel very lost to Rashaad but the next three months were preparation. Anggi is getting used to it.

Rashaad stared intently at the bead of Anggi's eyes. Rashaad's gaze said many things.. Anggi knows that. Both of them knew it was time. Time for the two to let go of each other. Completely take off each other and return to each other's walks.
