Reynald the CEO

Reynald the CEO
Chapter 21

The next day...

Anggi who was in his tiny house was preparing to go to the main house where his father lived. Last night her father called himself to ask the girl to come to the main house.

Anggi mirrored her appearance that looks perfect. Skirts with a length of 7/8 in pairs with thin sweaters and sneakers. His long hair this time was free from the pigtails that bound and let it wedge beautifully just like that.

Anggi then exit the room which directly leads to the living room. The tiny house there are only 2 small rooms and 1 bathroom is also a kitchen. The living room and living room are one. Tiny but Anggi feels comfortable living in his own home.

Anggi opened the door and was stunned when he saw the sky was so dark. The black clouds scattered as if to say the rain was coming soon. The girl sighed softly and saw her motorbike parked in the garage without a canopy.

He sat down for a moment wondering if he should use a taxi or recklessly use a motorcycle that is likely to be caught in the rain in the middle of the road. Long thought, finally the girl grabbed her phone and ordered a taxi online.

About 10 minutes waiting for the end of his taxi order came. Along the way Anggi breathed a sigh of relief because his decision was right because the rain fell so heavily.

It took almost 1 hour to get to his father's house because the traffic was quite heavy in the rain and the road was a little flooded which caused the riders to slowly advance their vehicles.

Arriving in front of his father's main house, Anggi on a umbrella by a security and in between until the front door of the house.

Anggi immediately went inside and was greeted with a soothing view of the eyes. Undeniably, his father's house is so big and luxurious. Anggi was greeted by a servant and invited him to sit in the middle room.

Anggi sat staring one by one at a photo in the keemasana frame displayed along the beige wall. Anggi smiled thinly when he did not see a single photo of himself in his father's house.

"It's tea and the cake is non, please in enjoy. You'll be down in a minute". Said a waiter, putting a cup of warm tea and a couple of jars of cookies.

Anggi smiled sweetly. "Thank you, Bik".

Anggi immediately grabbed his teacup and sipped slowly.

Taps..

Taps..

Taps..

The clattering of steps from a distance made Anggi turn to the source of the voice and see his father walking towards his being.

Anggi stood up and reached out when the man was in front of him. He kissed his hands politely and sat back down after the man sat down.

"Dad, I'm glad you finally asked me to come home". Anggi said with a sparkling face.

"Where's mama Linda?". Anggi.

The old man who still looked fit at his age snorted.

"I'm asking you not to come here to mince words or to let go of longing". The man stared snidely.

Anggi suddenly looked down and squeezed her skirt nervously.

Relax Anggi.. Calm..

The girl was deep in heart to stay calm.

"Why did you come in the middle of the night to my house a few days ago?". Ask the man.

Anggi looked up at his father.

"That's.. I'm......."

"I.... I was just.... All I thought about was going home to Dad because my location was very close to home". Obviously Anggi stammered.

"This house is not your home. You have no right to come without me asking you to come!". Scold the man.

"Do you want to follow in your mother's footsteps, huh? Midnight is still with men!".

Anggi shook his head slowly while bowing his head not intending to refute a single word.

"When is your college over?".

"My description is not finished yet, Dad. Maybe a few more months". Anggi said slowly.

The man rubbed his face rough.

"Your mother's aunt is really very thick! There is nothing to be proud of you! I've been kind enough to finance your education to college level so at least you need to know yourself and prove it to me". Said his Father.

The spicy word after word that came out of his father's mouth was not foreign. Anggi was used to it, even he had prepared his heart before coming here. Yet still it pierced the recesses of his heart.

"I'm trying.Give me a few more months and I'll graduate with pride". Anggi.

"I'll give you 3 more months. After that my responsibility is done". Said the man while standing up stepping away leaving Anggi who could only stare at the middle-aged man's back.

Anggi took a breath and exhaled slowly. He tried to master a million turbulent emotions in his heart.

Anggi then stood up and stepped out of the house. He saw the rain that so heavily soaked the earth without mercy. He was not expected in this house. The house where his father was supposed to be his protective figure of a cruel world.

Anggi walked through the rain and a security man ran while carrying an umbrella.

"Non Anggi, it's still raining heavily. Why not wait for the rain to stop?". Said the security while watching Anggi who continued to walk towards the fence.

"It's okay, sir. I want to go home quickly". Anggi said slowly.

"If so I order a taxi, it's 'Non". Said the security.

Anggi nodded slowly. "Necessary. Let me alone. I'm gonna walk for a second. It's been a long time since it's rained like this". Anggi said, smiling thinly.

Security was the end of it let Anggi walk out the fence while wearing the umbrella that was given earlier.

Anggi not walking direction. The sneakers and skirts she wears are wet. The rain fell very heavily and lightning struck each other unpretently. The umbrella he was wearing seemed unable to protect himself from the splashing water from the sky.

Anggi stopped his steps. He inhales as much air as he can to neutralize a heavy burden that feels very disturbing himself. He just crouched down and hugged himself. His umbrella was released just from his grasp to make the girl's body in a moment was soaked.

"Hiks... Hix.. What's my fault? I am not asking to be born into this world.. But why do my own parents hate me.. Hix.. Hicks.."

Anggi's final defense collapsed. He was sobbing under the rain. Anggi increasingly tightly hugged himself while crouching. No one's looking. Nobody cares either. Anggi let go of all his anxiety alone.

Suddenly a burly hand pulled himself up just like that and carried him into a hug. Anggi stunned never had to think anything or rebel.

He raised his head and his eyes rounded in surprise when he saw Reynald hugging himself. The handsome man looked at her sharply.

"Are you a kid playing in the rain?".
