Chapter 28

"Did you have a boyfriend before?". Anggi asked with a serious look at Reynald.

Reynald was silent. Her face is hard to understand. There was a sense of surprise that could be seen from the look of his face but he managed to neutralize it back in an instant.

Reynald leaned forward and linked his fingers on the table.

"Is my past important?". Reynald said as he lifted up next to his eyebrows staring right into the bead of the girl's eyes before him.

Anggi who felt an aura of intimidation from Reynald kept trying to control his courage. Of course he should know. He was quite confused by the situation he was facing right now. Although He did not refuse if his heart was excited instead of playing listening to a man who without He realized had taken his heart now even asked Him to be a lover.

Anggi nodded slowly.

"I need to know. This situation is confusing for me. You suddenly asked me to be your lover, of course I was afraid if only made escape material from your past". Anggi.

Reynald took a breath.

"Don't you know that I'm famous for being single?".

Anggi frowned. "That's I know.. But...."

"But I'm not really a man who's never been in love with a woman". Reynald cut Anggi's speech.

Reynald leaned his body into the chair. Anggi tried to digest Reynald's words and a second later the girl gaped.

"So you've had a boyfriend, right?". Anggi.

Reynald nodded with a faint smile.

"of course. I'm a normal guy you know hehehe". Reynald chuckles amusedly.

Anggi nodded in embarrassment. He felt stupid to have to make sure something that already had an answer.

"And I've been single for 7 months". Reynald.

Anggi then looked at Reynald with a serious face.

"Your love must be so pretty".

Reynald mangosteen looks to think. "Hm.. I don't deny it". Reynald said that certainly makes Anggi's heart melt.

It turns out Reynald is not the type to pretend. He always said what was there.

"But like I said, I've been single for 7 months. That means don't call anyone my lover..."

"Except tonight you accept me.. Then you're the only one who's my lover". Reynald smiled in a slant.

It is only this first time Anggi is faced with an awkward situation related to romance between two people. He never had any experience to behave how or respond to what.

"I'm just an ordinary girl... Why are you suddenly saying all this to me?". Anggi.

Reynald grabbed Anggi's 1 hand and clasped it. The man's eyes stared deeply at Anggi who was staring at their two hands holding each other.

"Over the past week of not seeing you, I've always been reminded of the various expressions of smile, sadness, frown that you displayed for 2 months I know you. It's freaky.. Of course it makes me weird.."

"I thought you were a sad girl the first time we met. As time goes on and intensity we meet in person even though for mentoring unconsciously I feel comfortable around you.."

Reynald explained slowly as he stared into Anggi's bead of eyes. Scrutinized the look on the girl's face at every utterance.

"only comfortable? It means you don't really like me.. Then why ask me to be your lover.."

Anggi pulled the hand held by Reynald but Reynald even more tightly grasped the girl's hand.

"Do you know that comfort is more important? You can like something but if it doesn't make you comfortable, you'll feel uncomfortable. But if you're comfortable with something, that includes you liking it. Don't you know about something as basic as that?". Reynald.

Anggi digested word by word that he heard and shook his head.

Reynald leaned back into the chair laughing softly.

"Oh God.. You're so innocent.. How can I like a girl like you hahaha". Reynald laughed at himself.

"Then don't like me. I'm the one who's innocent this doesn't suit you". Anggi

"Hey.. Oye. Not like that either.."

"OKs.. Be good.. Forgetit. Now is the time you answer my question.. Do you want to be my girlfriend?". Ask Reynald.

But before Anggi answered, a waitress came carrying a trolley containing food that was his second message.

"I'll answer after eating". Anggi said and responded with a Reynald nod.

During the meal, the two did not talk much. Only occasionally did Reynald explain the food menu on Anggi's plate.

Both eat quietly. Time which of course has entered the night makes the atmosphere more romantic but stressful for Anggi.

He thought about whether to accept Reynald or reject the man. Of course He was more inclined to accept, but on the side of his little heart He was afraid. I don't know for what but he was afraid to be in a relationship with Reynald the CEO.

After eating, the two of them immediately decided to go home. Reynald decides to drive Anggi to his tiny house without having to ask the girl.

After almost 2 hours of travel due to traffic jams at every point of the streets of the Capital, they finally reached the small house Anggi is not fenced.

"Where'd you put my bike?" Anggi asked when he saw his garage empty from inside the car.

"There's in my office. You take it easy". Reynald.

Reynald then opened the seatbelt and shifted the position of his body tilted facing Anggi.

"You haven't answered my question". Reynald reminded with a serious look.

Anggi bit his lips nervously. Of course the girl actually remembered but did not know what kind of conversation to open.

"You accept me or you reject me?". Ask Reynald again.

Anggi looked at Reynald. "You're not playing around with me, are you?".

Reynald shook his head while smiling. "I've never played around with someone's heart". Her speech.

Long enough Anggi silently looked at Reynald. The girl poked her lips while taking a slow breath.

"I accept you". Anggi's words are short but have a hiroshima bomb-like effect on his heart.

Reynald clasped Anggi's hand and smiled broadly.

"Thank you for believing in me". Said Reynald who was influenced by Anggi.

Reynald approached slowly towards Anggi making his heart beat faster than before. The girl closed her eyes.

But for a few seconds he waited not in the taste there was a kiss on his lips. Only a warm breath felt on the skin of his cheeks. Anggi opened his eyes peeking slightly and saw Reynald stalling a smile.

One kiss landed on Anggi's forehead leaving the girl stunned at Reynald.

"What did you think of that? Gee.. You're a real perverted girl". Said Reynald while pinching small cheeks Anggi until met red.
