"Go dry your body.. Did you bring a change of clothes?". Anggi asked, handing Reynald a clean towel.
Reynald nodded. "There's in my car. I'll take it for a second". Reynald moved from the living room to the garage.
The little speck was still felt on his skin. Now the handsome man is in the tiny house of Anggi. He decided to take the girl home on appeal to bring her to the penthouse although of course he needed to travel traffic jams are unusually dense in the rain that flushed very heavy.
Reynald picked up a black polo shirt and knee-length jeans from the bag he always put in the trunk of the car.
Reynald stepped back into Anggi's house and headed for the bathroom that was only one of his in the house.
Soon after, Reynald changed into dry clothes and put his wet clothes into plastic.
Anggi gave the man a warm cup of tea while sitting on a small, elongated sofa that was only specific to two people. Inevitably they also sit next to each other even though they keep their distance.
"Ehm.. Thank you for driving me home". Said Anggi while smiling thinly.
"No problem. I'm just afraid you're being kidnapped". Said Reynald.
"Hehehe.. Who would kidnap me? There is no profit. I don't have anything worth hehe". Anggi chuckles to show his neat teeth.
Reynald silently did not respond and just stared intensely at Anggi. The man's gaze was not readable in the slightest to make Anggi misbehave.
"mmm.. Is there something on my face?". Said Anggi while groping his face.
Reynald turned his face away and grabbed a cup of warm tea made by Anggi earlier. He sipped her slowly.
"Why were you squatting on the side of the road like that? In the middle of the rain.. What's on your mind, huh?". Reynald asked the end of his removing the uneg-uneg from earlier held.
Anggi scratched his nape nervously. He doesn't know what to answer.
"Are you from your parents' house?".
"Why aren't you being driven by a driver or someone from that house?".
"If I hadn't seen you, how would your fate be? Next time you should pay more attention to yourself".
Reynald continued to talk until Anggi could only remain silent. The girl thought hard what reasonable reason to pass on to the man before her at this moment.
"That's.... I'm...."
"Why are you crying in the rain like that..." Reynald said quietly but could still be heard by Anggi.
"Who did I say I was crying?". Ask Anggi to pretend.
Reynald turned to Anggi. "When I pull you up and look at you, anyone will know you're crying. Your eyes were blood red earlier hehe". Reynald tried to joke around so that the atmosphere was quite relaxed between them.
"I'm not crying!". Anggi.
Reynald smiled slightly and shook his hands.
"Ah.. Already have! While I'm here, how about I just be your mentor?I want to see your thesis progress now". Reynald turned the conversation.
"really?".
"Then wait a minute!". Said Anggi with a sumringah tone and immediately rose towards the room.
Soon Anggi was out of the room with several modules and the results of the questionnaire that he did in accordance with Reynald's direction the other day.
"Look".
"Have your lecturers reviewed the results of this last revision?". Reynald said as he held up a thick pile of paper in his hand.
"Yet. The schedule is tomorrow I meet with the supervising lecturer". Anggi.
Reynald was silent for a moment thinking.
"Then you rework your revision results now before handing them over to the guidance counselor tomorrow".Reynald said at last.
Hearing that Anggi was gawking. His face was pale. Just be right! His darn in heart.
Reynald traced the gesture of objection from the girl before him at this moment.
"Why? You don't want to?". Ask Reynald.
"It's not.. But why do I have to rework it again? I'm sure it's perfect". Anggi.
Reynald threw the pile of paper on the table and stared intently at Anggi.
"Do you think I'm making things difficult for you?".
Anggi looked down afraid of not being able to answer. In an instant the atmosphere felt gripping for him.
"I know you've fixed that, but when I see that there's some obscurity in your delivery and it's still in the deep, you think I'm making things difficult for you".
"I give you constructive advice and criticism. But it seems like my criticism you take as insults and advice from me you consider my efforts to make it difficult for you".
"Do you think the thesis is up to you? No matter if it's good or not, no matter clearly or not, no matter what and the task of the lecturer is just to give an autograph?".
"If you can't align your ways with mine and object to my advice. I'd better end up here with this guidance".
Reynald spoke with a sharp gaze and arms crossed over his chest. Really in his heart actually the man could not say in such a way to the girl who considered her pathetic. Reynald wanted to help with all his heart. I don't know why.
"Hows it? I don't want to have a protege who can't go hand in hand with me".
Anggi nodded quickly. "No.. Don'tdon't.. I need you to be my mentor. I have to finish my thesis in 3 months". Said Anggi with an anxious face.
Reynald smiled faintly. "I assure you if you follow all my advice well, next month you'll have a hearing".
Reynald then patted his hand once and looked at Anggi. "Then you work fast! Wait what else?".
Anggi frowned not understanding. "Are you going to stay here as long as I revise it again?".
Reynald nodded. "of course. I don't have any activities in the penthouse either. So I better use my time to help guide you right away, right?".
Hearing that the look of Anggi's face sparkled. "Thank you!". Anggi said with a big smile.
Reynald suddenly raised his hand into the air.
"But before we start......."
Reynald paused his remark making Anggi frown.
"Wouldn't there be a fried rice man passing by in this house? My stomach is hungry!".
