Chapter 37

On the same day, at night.

Dubai, UAE

Reynald and Andre, who had just arrived after taking an 8-hour flight from Jakarta, headed straight to the pick-up gate where a branch company envoy was waiting.

Andre sees a young man who is used to picking himself up if visiting this country.

"Thank you for waiting for us". Andre said representing Reynald who just silently did not say hello.

The young man nodded his head politely as he threw a smile at the two bosses before him at this moment.

The young man swiftly stuffed some of Reynald and Andre's luggage into the trunk. Reynald watched the car the young man was driving to the airport.

"Are you driving this car?". Reynald asked the young man.

"No, Mister. I was just assigned to pick you up at the airport. This car driver is going to the toilet for a while". Said the polite young man.

Reynald mangosteen heard the young man's words.

"Why are you asking such unimportant questions?". Andre asked, frowning confused.

"It doesn't matter what you said? I'm not sure I'd get in this car if he was driving..."

"You see...." Reynald flicked his chin towards the car.

"That's limousine. Not just anyone can drive a long car like that. Some are not used to it, are they?". Reynald.

Andre shook his head at the reason his best friend. Reynald got into the car shortly after the driver returned.

An hour later they arrived at the hotel. Burj Al Arab is the hotel of Reynald's choice to stay in Dubai. He likes the location of the hotel which is located next to the beach.

After entering the room and putting his suitcase on the side of the closet, Reynald just opened all the clothes that wrapped his body and went into the bathroom. He decided to soak warm water in a jacuzzi with aromatherapy oil available in his room. He was quite tired and wanted to flex his tense muscles for a moment.

Long enough Reynald soak while enjoying cable television broadcast on a screen available in the bathroom. He took a sip of the last liquid wine from his glass and just stood up naked and took a towel hanging near the washbasin and immediately dried his body.

Reynald then came out of the bathroom and opened his suitcase to pick up sleeping pajamas. He had no intention of having dinner. On the plane, he ate twice.

Reynald then lay down on a white mattress that had been tempting to sleep with him. He grabbed his phone and skimmed through emails and some work-related messages.

Reynald looked at the clock on his cell phone that had shown at 11 p.m. He thought for a moment and took a slow breath.

"Hm.. In Jakarta, it means it is 2 am. That girl must have slept..." Reynald.

He then abandoned his intention to call Anggi and decided to just send a message.

Reynald immediately pressed the send button and the message was sent. Reynald then put his phone on the nightstand and immediately pulled the blanket to sleep. He needs to recharge his energy well. Tomorrow morning until the next week he will really be busy in the branch company.

The next day...

The time has shown at 6 am, Anggi blinked his eyes adjust the light that entered into the bead of the eye. He stretched his body and slowly sat himself on the bed. He rubbed his eyes and grabbed the phone that was on the nightstand right beside the bed.

Anggi turns off the plane mode that he always activates if he wants to go to sleep. A message appeared shortly. A smile rose on his lips when he saw who was sending the message.

Anggi then tried calling but in a few calls, his phone was not answered at all. Anggi flicked his lips and put the origin of his phone on the mattress and immediately went to clean himself.

Today he needs to come to the University to take care of the graduation preparation. At the University where Anggi studied, graduation was carried out three times in one year. Lucky Anggi can follow the last graduation in this year which will be held in 2 months.

The whole day was well spent by Anggi. All the graduation preparations taken care of by him went smoothly but there was 1 thing that stuck in his heart. He could not have asked his father to come to accompany him on his big day. Again He imagined that He might pass the day alone.

Suddenly the phone sounded indicating there was a call coming from inside the bag. Anggi quickly reached into his phone hoping that the one calling him was Reynald. The man had not reported himself all day or even replied to messages.

Anggi was a little disappointed when he saw Caller Id showed that Renata was on the phone. Anggi then immediately received the call.

"Hello Anggi....."

"Yes, Miss Renata".

"Where is it now?"

"Now I'm in the city park, ma'am. This morning until noon I'm at college". Anggi.

"Oh.. That's so... Look, I want to remind you that tomorrow we have to take care of the SIM.. Come to the office at 9am".

Anggi nodded his head. "Good, Ma'am. Tomorrow I'll be on time". Anggi commented on the sweet smile on the lips even though she realized Renata would not see.

After Renata closes the phone, Anggi plays her phone opening a short message application with a paper airplane logo. He saw the message sent by him this morning had not even been read by Reynald. Anggi breathed a rough breath. He is used to being alone and doesn't expect anyone. But now that Reynald was by his side, the strange feeling within him was so disturbing.

Time passed by so quickly and it was already night. Exactly at 10 p.m. Anggi has done a routine of cleaning before getting into bed. He turned on a 32-inch TV that hung on the wall of the room right in front of the mattress.

He squeezed the TV remote looking for a good channel but in an instant he turned the TV back off with a pouting face. Ah.. The mood is not good!

A few minutes into the sudden silence he was startled by the ringtone of the cell phone. He nimbly grabbed his phone and suddenly his eyes bulged with a happy heart as Reynald's name was plastered on the screen.

But a second later he put his phone under the pillow and smashed his lips.

"Huh! Where did you just remember me!". Anggi grumbled without intending to pick up a phone from Reynald.
