Chapter 12

Along the way back to the airport, Reynald silenced a thousand languages after he was satisfied to issue all the insults and oaths to Andre, both bodyguard and detective in his lease.

Reynald had intended to search the entire area of the Hospital if he did not find Clara in the Dental Police. He was sure Clara was there but the unlucky people who were with him at this time actually brought her just like that out of Melrose Hospital.

The gripping aura was very clearly felt in the car. Only Andre could afford to be relaxed. He's used to facing Reynald like this. What's the matter if he doesn't take Reynald away right away? Surely at this time rumors about Reynald the CEO who is famous cool and charismatic will be the subject of public conversation.

Andre is very concerned about the privacy built by Reynald himself although sometimes Reynald sometimes not aware that his frustrating and arrogant behavior when looking for Clara can be a boomerang for himself.

"You remember your promise, right?". Andre said while taking a quick look at Reynald.

"What's?". Reynald asked ketus.

"Should I report all this to your father now?".

Bugh!

Reynald punched the headrest of the chair in front of him, causing the head of a bodyguard sitting on the chair to bounce forward.

"Damn! I knew! I knew! No need to remind! Why is everyone threatening me with my dad, huh?". Maki Reynald with a fury.

"Because only your father can stop this ridiculous behavior of yours. You can ruin your own reputation if you leave it like this". Andre was patient.

"I don't know what it's like to lose someone I love. I've never felt it and hopefully never felt it. It's not that I don't have empathy for you. But you've wasted enough time! If Clara is destined for you, she'll bring you a thousand excuses!". Andre looked at Reynald, who had a chest.

Reynald was just silently staring out through the window of his car.

Andre patted a friend's shoulder as a child and his boss. "From now on, live your new life without Clara. I'm sure you can!".Andre smiled faintly.

Jakarta, three hours later.

Reynald Penthouse.

Ting.. Vat..

Ting.. Vat..

A penthouse bell rang and someone entered the password in Reynald's penthouse smart lock.

That someone was Renata who had deliberately come to see the condition of her cousin. He was told by Andre that they failed to find Clara. Although Renata does not like it much if Reynald is in a relationship with Clara and chooses not to care, but Renata still worries about Reynald's current situation.

Renata spread his gaze in all directions. He entered one room at a time inside the two-story penthouse. On the ground floor he didn't find Reynald. Then Renata immediately climbed the stairs to the second floor.

Renata opened the workspace and was empty of no one. He opened the reading room as well as Reynald's mini library, as well as the nil invisible nose of his cousin. Renata stared at the last door he had not yet opened, which was Reynald's private room.

Slowly Renata opened the door and circulated his gaze to the room that was shades of white ash. Very masculine. Renata gaped for a moment when he saw how messy the room was. Clothes were strewn on the bed, on the floor. A few suitcases just lay on the floor. Renata took a slow step and stopped when he saw a lot of broken picture frames on the floor. Renata crouches down and takes a picture of Reynald and Clara smiling sweetly embracing. He then circulated his gaze to some of his other photos. All are photos of Reynald and Clara.

"You came apparently". Said Reynald who had stood up to calm himself on the penthouse balcony.

Renata raised his head and immediately stood up.

Reynald raised his shoulders. "Do I look good at the moment?". Reynald asked back.

"If you come just to confirm my promise, you have nothing to fear. I always keep my promises". Reynald.

Renata shook his head slowly. "I'm just here to see how you are. Andre told me everything just now".

Reynald smiled in anguish. 'Want to see my miserable state?".

"Aisshh you are such a bitch! I'm really worried about you!". Renata.

Reynald shook his hands and immediately sat down on the sofa. "Just calm. I'm still alive. I was thinking about jumping from the balcony but I had goosebumps first to see the height".

Renata grabbed a pillow from the bed and threw it at Reynald. "You're crazy!". Renata Umpat.

Reynald laughed out loud at Renata's annoyance.

"As long as you're here, help me clean up this mess". Reynald.

Renata glares. "What's? Why should I?!".

"Because you're here". Reynald said straightforwardly.

"You can call the cleaning service that always cleans this penthouse". Reply Renata.

Reynald was silent for a moment and looked at Renata. "It's all Clara's personal belongings she put in the wardrobe. As long as I'm gone, the wardrobe always locks me up until the cleaning service never enters the room. If I call her right now and see all this, what do you think will happen?".

"You must not pretend to be innocent and holy. You just give him the money to keep his mouth shut like you used to do to a lot of people". Renata rolled her eyes irritated.

"This time I won't bribe her. Don't talk much. Help me!". Reynald stood up from the sofa.

"But this is a lot of Rey!". Renata Protest.

"Why did that woman even leave still bother people!". Renata continued to grumble but his hands began to take one by one the photos of Reynald and Clara were scattered.

"You want to get these photos?!". Asked Renata in a slightly high tone.

"As far as you. You're torn into small pieces or you just burn it". Reynald was busy stuffing Clara's clothes in the suitcase.

Renata pensively stared for a moment at the photo sheet in his hand and then looked towards Reynald. "You sure?".

Reynald stopped his activity and looked at Renata, sighing slowly. "Did I have another choice?".

"All I'm doing now is throwing away all my memories and Clara's. Then after this my next job is to bury my memories and Clara in my mind". Reynald smiled.
