Reynald the CEO

Chapter 6

At 5:30 a.m., Reynald had changed from a pajama to a training suit. He was ready to go for a run this morning alone. This is what he always did after his lover, Clara left him suddenly.

He did not choose to run away from frustration with liquor or visit entertainment every night. He actually chose to exhaust his body through exercising with high intensity. Reynald, not a plain man.

With his position as a CEO, Of course he knows liquor and occasionally drink it only when a certain moment with business colleagues. He also sometimes gathers with friends in an elite club. But his logic still goes on and says, He is not stupid enough to ruin himself by drunk every day because he lives a lover.

Reynald then left his penthouse and headed straight for the elevator. Security who saw Reynald greeted reluctantly when the owner of the only penthouse in the building passed by. Reynald just nodded thinly.

Outside the building, with a light that is still quite dim but is enough to illuminate. Reynald stretched out his arms and inhaled as much morning air as he could.

Ah.. I need air like this every day!

Reynald turned his head up and breathed as much morning air.

Reynald immediately ran small towards the sidewalk. He really enjoyed his own moments like this without anyone accompanying him, without the burdensome work and without the frustrating thought of Clara, the lover.

1 Hour he ran around the Central Business District. He never ran away from the apartment building because he was worried that someone would recognize him.

Reynald then returned to the penthouse and immediately opened the training T-shirt that wrapped his burly body. He took off his pants and immediately threw the two into the laundry basket. Only wearing a tight boxer he went up to the second floor of the penthouse to go to a private room and immediately took a shower.

Shortly thereafter, he descended back into the pantry area to make a cappucino. He grabbed the cell phone he put on the table and pressed someone's number.

"Ndre, can you replace me for today's meeting with the Marick Company?". Reynald said after the phone was connected.

"..................."

"No.. No. gabe.. You just need to review the progress of the project. You don't have to make any decisions, just calm down". Reynald said again.

"............."

"Ok.Thank you!". Reynald immediately terminated the phone call.

One problem solved.then now.

Inner Reynald continued to contact someone again.

Reynald stepped towards the balcony of his penthouse while carrying a cup of cappucino that had been made earlier and his left hand was holding a cellphone attached to the ear waiting for someone unfuk to lift his call.

"How long have you been answering the phone??". Reynald was upset after the call connected.

"................."

"An hour to come to my penthouse! I'm lazy to come to the office today".

"..................."

"Don't forget you brought the documents I had to sign!".

Click! Reynald just hung up the phone. In save his cell phone to the round table and he sipped slowly cappucino while looking as far as he could see.

Flashbacks

"Rey.. What do I mean to you?". Ask Carla when they are done with hot activities at night.

Reynald frowned not understanding Clara's question. "Of course you're my lover. What are you asking her for?".

The smile Clara saw in Reynald's eyes was the sweetest smile she had ever seen from a woman.

"Are you going to marry me?". Ask Clara again.

"I love you..." Clara said as she sank her head into Reynald's chest.

Reynald rubbed his lover's head gently. "I love you many times..."

Flasback Off

Aggggp!!!

The sound of a glass clashing against a wall and breaking was quite deafening. Reynald stared at the innocent shard of glass. His heart is really not because if he recalls the glimpses of the past with Clara.

It hard....

5 Months had passed and all the efforts he had tried. But still he has not found a bright spot where the woman is.

"REYNALD! Oh my gosh, you really are!". Renata who had just come and saw broken glass scattered also the white wall which is now patterned brown because the cappucino really shook his head.

"How many dozen more glasses and plates are your victims?". Ask Renata again.

He reached into the phone from his bag and called a personal cleaning service who always cleaned Reno's penthouse every day but when the host was not in place.

"Come to the penthouse". Renata said briefly and immediately ended the phone call.

"Are there any updates on Clara?". Reynald asked without looking at his cousin.

Renata sat down next to Reynald and exhaled. "There's not".

"Where is he going, Ren? I've thought of a lot of places she might come to calm herself down from her routine, but there's not a single trace of her in all those places". Reynald turned his head and looked at Renata dimly.

"It's been 5 months, Rey. Just let her go. That way your life will be calmer".

"How is biss that easy..." Reynald grumbled.

"You never know what it's like to fall in love because you're single. Clara was the first woman to make me fall in love and we have been together 3 years. No other woman can match my many memories with him". Reynald.

"I am single. But I'm not stupid. The woman who loves you will not be able to just leave you alone!" .Said Renata angrily to her cousin..

"Ahh! If I'm asked to come here just to see you lament fate, I'd rather go". Renata got up from his seat.

"wait". Reynald.

"What else? Oh yeah I forgot the paperwork you had to sign...." Renata handed Reynald a black map.

"Is it done with my job? There will be a cleaning service coming soon to clean up this act of yours".Renata.

"Please arrange 1 additional meeting on my schedule". Reynald said suddenly.

"1 meeting with whom do you mean?".

"Figures.. Yep... Called Anggi". Reynald nodded as he tried to remember a name.

Renata frowned. "Pig? Which one do you mean?".

"Figures.. The pathetic girl. The student who came to my office".
