The bell of the penthouse sounded loud. Reynald glanced at the clock on the wall and the time showed it at 2 p.m. Today is the end of the week. Of course he didn't go to work in the office. Reynald usually goes to Anggi's house from morning if he is off and spends time with the girl until night.

But today Reynald just want to be alone in his penthouse not disturbed by anyone.

Reynald then walked open the door and bruukk! Gavin just hit the penthouse without permission. The surprised Reynald quickly closed the door.

"You're like a thief!". Reynald dongkol.

Gavin turned to look at Reynald with a waist-rigged trace.

"Why is your phone dead?".

"I turned it off intentionally". Reynald said as he sat down on the sofa.

"Since when have you been a coward, bro?". Gavin squinted his eyes at Reynald.

"What do you mean?". Reynald's question doesn't understand.

"I heard it from Andre and Renata..."

Reynald sighed softly and shook his head. Yep. Those two people are incomplete without Gavin. They're three solid musketeers.

"You turned off the phone to avoid Clara or Anggi?". Ask Gavin.

"I'm not avoiding anyone. I just need to think clearly without any interference from anyone". Kill Reynald.

Gavin stepped closer and sat down beside Reynald.

"How are you feeling?".

"It's hard to explain". Reynald.

"No.. I mean, how did you feel about Clara after she came back?". Gavin Sahut.

"Is your old feeling still there for her?".

Reynald rubbed his face rough. He raised his head and exhaled.

"I'm not sure myself..."

"I'm surprised of course. There was a lot of longing, hate that he left me, anger, but there was also a pain in my heart when I said rudely and was cold to him". Reynald explains how raging the feeling inside him was when Clara returned.

"Then what about your boyfriend? That sweet girl?".

"What are you gonna do about him?". Ask Gavin again.

"I love him and don't want to let go". Reynald is putting on his rough hair.

I heard the breath of Gavin. "You have to choose one".

Reynald shook his head slowly. "I can't choose between them".

"The more I try to compare which one I better choose, the more I can't do it". Reynald.

"Hm.. As your best friend, I want you to live happily. Ask who is your happiness to?".

"You had a 3-year relationship with Clara and during that time you two never had any complicated problems I guess..."

"And you had a 3-month relationship with Anggi and I admit he gave you positive energy in the process of forgetting Clara".

Gavin corrected his seat facing Reynald.

"But you know bro? This situation is not about your feelings. There's one little life you have to think about. That little life comes from your own seed". Gavin said at length.

Reynald looked at Gavin with a frown. "Are you eating wrong?".

"Why are you suddenly so wise today?".

Reynald laughed a little. "I'm just amazed by all of your words".

"You're right. It's not my feelings that matter. But that baby". Reynald smiles.

"So what are you gonna do? Think very well, bro. Don't take the wrong steps and regret later in life". Gavin patted Reynald's shoulder cheered.

One Week Later

The door to Reynald's office workspace opened to the surprise of Reynald, who was focused on work.

"Uncle wait, let me explain..." Renata wanders off into the middle-aged man and woman who just walk into Reynald's room.

A surprised Reynald quickly takes control of himself and asks Renata to come out. Renata threw an apologetic look at Reynald and immediately left Reynald with the middle-aged couple.

"Explain to me what this is, Reynald!". Said the middle-aged man while throwing a file on the table.

Reynald immediately opened the file and his face was shocked when he saw every photo. He drew a paper that he knew very well what it was.

"You intend to hide this from us, huh?!". Smash that guy.

Reynald rubbed his face rough. He shook his head slowly staring at the alternating middle-aged couple before him.

"No.. I didn't mean to hide it, Dad". Reynald said slowly.

"If you don't want to hide it, how can you not tell us that you already have a child, huh?".

"God.. So it's true I have a grandchild". Said the middle-aged woman with a teary look.

"I only found out a week ago too, Dad! My lover... No, not a lover anymore. Aah fuck.. I mean, the mother of the kid left me since she found out she was pregnant. I've been looking for it as much as I can and I can't find it! Until he finally came back to me with a baby!".

"It's not my fault if I don't know?". Reynald defended himself.

"Then why didn't you tell us when your woman came back? You intend to hide it from us?". Cecar Dave, Reynald's father.

"But wait, Dad knows where all this is? Did Renata or Andre tell you?". Reynald asked, staring at his parents.

"Where is my grandson?". Ask Rose, Mama Reynald.

"Of course he's with his mom, Mom". Reynald.

"Hurry and marry that woman. Your son needs the power of the law. If it's like this, he doesn't have any identity. Didn't you think about it?". Dave Sahut.

Reynald was surprised not to hear Dave's words. He just stood up.

"Whenever I think about that option, I can't do it Dad". Reynald looked at his father.

Dave, the middle-aged man who still clearly saw his handsome streak when he was young sighed.

"I know you love a girl, right?".

Reynald.

Yep. He did not deny his steps back and forth for Clara, the main reason being the girl.

"I don't care about your love life. I never forbid you to get in touch with anyone. And I'm with your mother never seen anyone's caste. Whoever is the woman who can conquer your heart and be good to you, we will accept it".

"But the situation is different now.. You must have realized that".

"So quickly marry your ex or your lover or the mother of the child.. I don't know what's right for him. Make your son clear".

Dave said at length while looking at his son sharply.
