The atmosphere of Hendra's workspace that was warm suddenly felt quiet. Hendra who insisted on inviting his daughter, Anggi to join lunch with Reynald would not agree. Reynald was just silent not much to talk to Anggi.
"So you haven't finished what you said about the new project you offered me" Sahut Hendra broke the silence.
"Later we'll talk. There's your daughter" Reynald said, grabbing a glass of mineral water on the table.
"Indeed why? Are you afraid that my daughter will be in the tender?"
Reynad laughed softly until the handsome face of the 1-child widower looked more beautiful.
"I'm not even thinking that way. Your daughter's company is in Abu Dhabi, and the business sector is very different from the business we run. You're just-just fine!"
"I'm just not comfortable talking business if there are others who have nothing to do. That's very disrespectful". Reynald stared at Anggi.
Anggi is seen to stop his eating activities and gently wipe his lips with a tissue. He glanced at the clock that was coiled around his right wrist.
"Dad, I better just go home now. Tomorrow I will come again if Dad is not busy" said Anggi while staring at Hendra.
"Why so fast?"
"I just don't want my sudden presence here to bother you" Sahut Anggi threw his gaze at Reynald who was staring back at him as well.
"Well if you want to go home. I'm going to your house tomorrow. What were you wearing here?"
"I take a taxi, Dad" Anggi said as he sat down.
"Wait a minute. I'm asking Indah to get the driver ready to take you home"
Anggi immediately held Hendra up from his place. "no need. I'll stop by somewhere from here" Anggi then slightly bent down and kissed the Father's hands and cheeks.
He then turned to Reynald who had just been silent. "I'll take my leave first". Anggi bowed his head slightly to Reynald. Before long Anggi soon passed out of the workspace Hendra Wibrata.
He walked pretty fast to the elevator. When the elevator door closed perfectly he breathed a sigh of relief while leaning against the elevator wall like a person who had just managed to avoid the pursuit of criminals.
The elevator door opened in the lobby. Anggi immediately stepped towards the exit.
"Pig!"
A cry was heard from the back of his body to make Anggi stop just like that but not turn around. He knew exactly who was calling him right now.
"Let me drive you home" Reynald exclaimed as he stood by Anggi's side.
Anggi looked up at Reynald. Ah.. This man is still handsome with a white bodyfit shirt and navy suit that is beside him on the left stocky arm.
"Didn't you hear above? I'll go somewhere first, not go home". Anggi tried to sound good.
Reynald smiled a faint smile. "I've heard it so I'm taking you"
Anggi then stepped again towards the exit. "I'd better take a taxi"
"Hey.. It's more convenient to use my car than you're in a taxi!". Reynald did not give up.
Anggi paused for a moment while frowning as he stared at Reynald. Those words.... Why like familiar? Anggi muttered in his heart.
"I don't want to, I'll just take a taxi. Thanks for your offer". Anggi turned his face and walked back.
Reynald slowly pulled Anggi's arm so inevitably the woman looked back at him. "Are you avoiding me?" Reynald asked with a very serious look.
Anggi glanced around him and got various eye gazes paying attention towards himself and Reynald.
"You're famous now? Look around us now...."
Reynald threw his gaze all over the Maverick Company lobby and saw many employees watching. Reynald breathed a rough sigh of annoyance as the effects of his divorce with Clara had not subsided completely.
Anggi approached a security officer asking for help to call a taxi that usually queues in the building area. When the security will call a taxi, a luxury sedan car stops right in front of Anggi. A special valet officer got off the luxury sedan.
Anggi's hand was pulled slowly by Reynald who quickly asked the valet officer to pick up his car in the parking area in front of the lobby. "Let's go inside". Reynald changed to holding both sides of Anggi's shoulder slightly forcing the stubborn woman to get into his car.
"Relys!" Anggi looked up at Reynald with a sharp look but certainly did not make the man tremble in the least.
"Come on.. Don't make this any harder. I just want to drive you" Reynald said, pleading.
He heard Anggi's breathing resigned and he then entered Reynald's car.
From a distance precisely from the front of the special elevator of the directors, Hendra saw everything. He immediately went down to the lobby when Reynald called him to silence the employees who saw the man with Anggi in the lobby. Reynald did not want the good name Anggi tarnished and reported with negative things.
The middle-aged man shook his head while smiling faintly. Somehow God will set your way with whom in the end, son...
Along the way Anggi folded his hands while bending the look of his face. He felt very upset at Reynald who always forced him. Reynald occasionally glanced at Anggi and held an amused smile.
"Are we just going around Jakarta? I don't mind anyway..." Reynald tried to open the conversation. Besides, he also does not know where Anggi's destination.
"Frog"
Reynald called Anggi but the woman kept silent. "Yes, we've gone to my penthouse" Reynald murmured as he glanced at Anggi and pressed the gas pedal deeper.
"No!" Anggi quickly glared at Reynald.
Reynald cheered triumphantly but tried to appear calm in his manner. "Where do you want to go? You haven't told me your purpose... Where should I take you..."
Anggi looks silent for a moment as if reluctant to tell.
"Mmmm... Can you just put me down here?"
Reynald hardened his jaw. "You just tell me where to go, I'll take you and I promise I'll go right after"
"But my goal is far from here. There's no way you're taking me there" Sahut Anggi insisted.
Reynald. He thought about where Anggi was headed.
"Are you going to your late mother's house in Bogor?"
"Because that's all I think about.or where else hmmm...." Reynald muttered as he thought looking straight ahead.
"I'm going there but not today. So your guess is wrong".
"If you keep stubbornly unwilling to tell me, I'm really going to take you around the city". Reynald.
"That's just my excuse..." Anggi muttered slowly.
"Huh? What did you say just now?" Reynald turned to Anggi repeatedly.
"I said it was just my excuse! I have no purpose anywhere! Satisfied you?"
Hearing the narration with the look of an upset face Anggi even made Reynald grinning widely. "I thought.."
"Why did you lie to your father?"
"Are you uncomfortable lingering close to me?" Reynald glanced at Anggi.
"You think?" Ask Anggi ketus.
Reynald nodded his head while tightly clenching his lips. "alright... I think I know a suitable place for us to have a private four-eye chat". Reynald smiled knot.
