Our Barrier Fort

Our Barrier Fort
Has Ganesh Surrender?

I finally decided to take some time off work in the next few days. I cut off communication with Ganesh. Right now I just want to calm myself down with the reality that I have to accept going forward. I disabled the phone so Ganesh wouldn't call. It is time to think about what will be done in the future.

Mom and Dad also quite understood my situation. They didn't ask me much. It really made my life not the same anymore. Makes everything feel empty and do not know the direction of the destination anymore.

Sitting on the sofa facing the window of the room which is directly directed to the swimming pool. The pool water is calm, I can only look up there.

"What is he doing now?"

Despite breaking off communication with Ganesh for a while, it was still in my mind that there was always that man. The man I loved and accompanied me for three years.

"Bec.."

Mom opened my bedroom door after knocking on it a few times. I didn't even take my eyes off the pool water out there. Mom came in and approached me. He sat on the bedside.

"Outside there's someone who's looking for you" Mother said

Ganesh...

I turned to Mom "Who's Mom?"

Ganesh is definitely coming, who else is looking for me. Ganesh must be worried about not being able to contact me and get word from me. He must be worried about me.

"You see for yourself, yuk" said Mother as she extended her hand, inviting me to immediately move from sitting and go out to meet the guests who came.

I exited the room excitedly, how I missed Ganesh after a few days I did not meet even communicate with him.

I saw someone talking to Dad in the living room. The man only had his back, but I was sure it was Ganesh. I walked quickly towards him, Dad smiled at me.

"Gaaa..."

My words stopped as the man turned to look at me. The man smiled kindly at me who was still silently pecking. He's not Ganesh. Not the man I expected to come.

"A-Alex" smirked in a disappointed tone, I was so disappointed by this. Why not Ganesh? What I expected was Ganesh. Not Alex. Did Ganesh not miss me at all and had no intention of seeing me first? Ganesh.. You where? Why didn't you come see me?

"Ha Ra, how are you?" Alex stood up and greeted

I tried to smile, although it was hard to do that "I-iya Lex, I was good. How's yours?"

"It's good enough" Alex replied

I don't know why Alex always answers like that every time I ask him. I don't understand what that means.

"Judah you guys just talk, I'll make you a drink for Alex's son first" Mother said

"Thank you, Alex" said

Mum?..

Even Ganesh still calls Mother Aunt. Then why would Alex dare to call him that. And since when they're so familiar, yes, although I know that Alex used to come home a lot.

I sat next to Alex at a safe distance, my feelings were still not good. My relationship with Ganesh has no idea how it will go.

"Dad didn't expect Ra, if Nak Alex was the main director at the headquarters where Dad worked" said Dad who looked so proud of what he just knew.

I just smiled because I knew about it. Since high school, Alex is indeed the most student among the others. Even though it belongs to his parents, but still he will inherit it considering he is the same as me. Just an only child.

"Yes, yeah, I know. Alex and GE's companies are engaged in cooperation"

Dad nodded in understanding, GE is still on top of Alex's company. However, that does not mean Alex's company is not big and famous. The company is also quite famous and large. It's just that the connection is not as wide as GE.

"That's why I live first, son Alex. You guys talk first" Dad said

"Yes Dad"

After Dad left, there was only silence between us. I am still in a bad mood, it feels lazy to talk a lot at this time. My thoughts are only with Ganesh and our relationship ahead.

"Jalan yuk Ra, you don't work anymore, do you?" said Alex

I looked at Alex, and I was lazy to go anywhere. But, it seems like this is effective enough to slightly shift my muddled mind.

"Well, where's the road?"

"Yes, where have you been. It's up to you"

I nodded, "Jude, I'm ready first"

"okay"

I immediately prepared, although my thoughts were still on Ganesh and our relationship in the future would be how. But, right now I just want a moment to forget about that matter.

"We're leaving first, Mom, Dad. Pinjem first Seira, I will not be anything. Hehe" Alex said with a small ruckus at the end of his sentence.

"You're Lex, you haven't changed a lot in the past" Mother said, hitting the man's shoulder slowly

Alex just grinned at hearing Mom's words. I say goodbye and kiss the back of Mom and Dad's hand before leaving Alex.

In the car, I stared out the window. Tired of all this, my mind was completely screwed up. I took my phone inside a small sling bag, I reactivated my phone and the notification sound kept ringing up a few times.

**ganeshku

Ra, where are you?

You take a leave, right?

Ra replied, why can't I call your phone?

Where are you going Ra? I'm concerned.

Ra, sorry. I can't refuse Grandpa's request.

Can we meet? We should talk about all this.

Alex

Hi, Ra how are you?

How inactive is Ra? You why?

You're doing all right?

Ra, I'm going to your house now. I'm really worried about you**.

Some messages came in from coworkers as well, but most were from Ganesh and Alex. I read all those messages, and I felt disappointed with Ganesh for the first time. Why is that guy not like Alex. If he was worried about me, why didn't he come to my house and see me like Alex did.

Has Ganesh given up on everything?

I decided to reply to a message from Ganesh. Maybe we shouldn't have kept going like this. The cold war will not solve the problem. We better get all these problems straightened out and find a solution. Although I'm not sure there will be a right solution for our relationship.

Later in the afternoon we meet at the usual place.

Send.. I sent a reply to Ganesh, after which I put my phone back in my bag.

Dong's support.. Like which comment? Huhh.. Lack of spirit if you look at gini. But, Judah, I've already made this story public, so I have to finish everything I started.
