In the afternoon, Ganesh came to pick me up. We're leaving soon. My mood is not good. This conversation really made my mood worse.
"Have not been too thought of, we just follow the flow of how. Although I also know what the problem is"
I know that Ganesh feels the same way. How we love each other so much. But reality seems to prevent us from coming together.
"Why should we be different?"
Ganesh turned his head when he heard my question "We are all created with all the advantages and disadvantages of each. Including this difference. Everything is destiny"
I looked down at Ganesh's explanation. Is correct.. Our different destinies make it harder for us to come together.
"That's it, there's no need to talk about it anymore. Now we're going for the holidays, we're going to have fun. So, be happy. Don't show your sad face like that"
I exhaled heavily, turned to Ganesh and smiled even a little at the force. All right, it's time to have fun and for a moment forget the reality.
"I love you"
Ganesh smiled at the expression of my love that I had often spoken to him.
"Me too"
The time-consuming journey made me feel tired and eventually fell asleep in the car until I felt something pricking my cheek.
"Wake up, baby, we're here"
I felt something stabbing my cheek again, I opened my eyes. Ganesh smiled at me. The smile that always makes me so sad.
I turned towards the car window, we have reached the villa grounds. On the side courtyard looks very crowded with the Ganesh family.
"Yes, I slept for a long time"
Ganesh smiled as he rubbed my head "Here, come down"
I nodded then opened my seat belt and got out of the car immediately. Ganesh took my hand, walking up to his family who were gathered in the side yard with a view of the calm lake water and some trees that were refreshing to the eye that was looking.
I breathed this fresh air, really the air here is very far away with the air in the city that has been polluted. It is still so cool and refreshing.
"Bah... You just came, so long ago" said Aunt Syifa, Ganesh's aunt
Me and Ganesh took turns kissing the back of Aunt Syifa's hand "Iya Tan, sorry to be late"
"How are you doing Ra?" Tanya Om Erwin, her husband Aunt Syifa
I switched to kissing the back of Om Erwin's hand "Good Om. What about Om himself?"
Om Erwin smiled thinly "Om also good"
Aunt Syifa stroked my back with her friendly smile "Here you go, let's join in. You meet Grandpa and Papa first, Mama there"
I smiled, how kind and family-friendly this was. There is no arrogant or arrogant word. They are really kind and sincere.
"Alright, let's Aunt. Seira and Ganesh would like to say hello first"
"Yes yes, go" Aunt Syifa smiled as she moved her hand as if telling us to leave to greet the others immediately.
"Hai Ma, Pa, Grandpa" I said to the Ganesh family.
Mama Ganesh hugged me like a daughter. I am so happy to be accepted by the Ganesh family.
"How are you, Ra? I haven't been home in a long time"
"Yes Ma, again quite a lot of work is also hehe"
I switched to greeting Grandpa, kissing his hands politely "How are you doing?"
Even so I understand enough, if in the Ganesh family it is his grandfather who is the coldest to me.
"Your parents how's Ra?" Ask Papa
"Good Pa"
"Haii Kak Seira, just came too yes"
Ganesh's cousin came to greet me, Erland and Erlita were twin brothers. They're Aunt Syifa and Om Erwin.
Erlita and I hugged each other, and we were pretty close. Probably because they are both women. So sometimes if you meet like this me and Erlita often chat and share some things.
"How are you Lit?" I stroked her back, I already considered Erlita as my own sister.
"Okay, just another headache with the class"
I smiled at her complaints, let go of hugs and turned to greet her twin brother, Erland.
"How are you doing, Land?"
"Good"
Yep.. Erland is the cutest in the family. But, I think he has a high sense of caring for his family. It's just that he has his own way of showing that concern.
I began to gather with the women in the Ganesh family. While Ganesh is fishing in the lake with Papa, Om Erwin and Grandpa. It is not wrong of them also certainly while talking about work.
"How are you doing, Father and Mother Ra? Why don't they come here? It's getting rame" said Mama
"Father same busy mom Ma, they nitip greetings for everything"
"Ohh.. Greetings yes, thank goodness your Father and Mother are good news" Mama said with a friendly smile
I nodded "Yes Ma, they are good"
"Erland where's Lit?" Aunty Syifa asked when she did not see her son
Erlita shrugged both of her shoulders indifferently "I don't know, she's that way. I like to be alone. Strange indeed"
Aunt Syifa hit the thigh of her daughter who was sitting next to her "You are, so she is also your twin sister"
"Apasi Mam, just a few hands. Sick tofu" Erlita said as she stroked her thigh.
I smiled seeing this mood. This family is completely harmonious, there is no dispute between brothers like most other prominent families.
"Oh yes Ma, listen Gezia will be back soon huh?"
Gezia is Ganesh's only sister, he is finishing design school abroad. And I heard from Ganesh that Gezia would soon return to her homeland.
"Yes, he'll be back in two months" Mama replied
I nodded in understanding, it felt like I would feel awkward if I met Ganesh's sister again after two years since we last met.
Gezia is too perfect for a girl, she has just finished her design school and will soon open her own boutique here. He had a cold and flat aura. I really could never get close or talk much with Ganesh's sister. He's too cold.
Other than Grandpa and Erland, Gezia was also the one who had always been cold to me. But they still greeted me and received my greeting as they should.
Seriate
Hows it? Are you starting to know each other's characters?
For those who read some of my work must be strange. This is the first time I've written a novel with the female lead's point of view. Why am I making our Fortress Barrier novel like this? Because I want to try to string words with the viewpoint of the female lead.
