Chapter 99: Nothing Last Forever

News of Bara's accident has reached Saga and Ran's ears. Soon they leave for the hospital after they will return to the main office. Saga has contacted Issaura and Noah to get to the hospital. Ran is also reporting on Zara and Naura.

With a worried heart Saga continued to calm down in the middle of the speed of the vehicle that Ran drove. His mind was only on the boy whom he had always regarded as his own biological son. However, Bara is a figure that is a reason for him not to despair in fulfilling his dark life in the past.

When they arrived at the hospital parking lot, they both darted out of the car to the emergency. Saga approached the reception desk and asked Bara where she was.

"On behalf of Maesabara, the car accident this afternoon." Saga is half dead.

His breath made him breathless. Shortly after, someone behind the reception desk told the location of the patient's room named Maesabara. After that Saga immediately invited Ran to step into the ICU room.

Arriving there they met the figure of a man who is Bara's biological father. Saga's eyes were rounded. He immediately walked over to the man who had changed position from sitting to standing.

"Mr Runda, right?" Ask Saga for the first time.

The man looked down for a moment, "True." Answer slowly. "Please sit down Sir, it seems we need to talk."

Finally Saga and the man named Runda sat in the waiting room. While Ran stood in a distant place to give them space.

"Maybe you don't know yet if I'm Bara's biological father." Reveal Runda in a bitter tone.

"I already know that." Quick reply Saga.

"There's something you need to know behind this statement. It might hurt a little bit but here's the truth." For a moment Runda paused her speech to make sure that Saga did not mind hearing the explanation.

"Please continue" said Saga coldly.

Runda finally continued, "That day when I just got a job at the Rayla Hotel I came home drunk. Then I saw Tahira coming out of your unit. Because the alcohol's influence is pretty bad without thinking I pulled it into your unit and raped it." Runda looked down, maybe he regretted his actions.

"Then?" Sahut Saga tried to calm down.

"A few weeks later I heard about her pregnancy. At that time I thought it was all my fault. When you left for work in the morning, I met him but he didn't want to talk to me. I insisted that we could talk, and finally there was only one word that he said and that was the last one before you got married and moved out of that unit, he said 'Forget all that stuff'. After you got married I kept finding out. So I could meet him and talk to him in a hotel. I kept asking him to talk about finding a way out of this. But Tahira said he didn't want to uncover this truth and would only keep it forever. Because she's happy with you."

Fifteen minutes passed, and Zara and Naura were there. They all sat waiting for the doctor to come out of the ICU. The atmosphere is so tense. They are immersed in each other's thoughts.

In that second, Saga who was holding her sobs turned her back towards the next corridor. There a woman is seen walking towards them. When he realized that the woman was Tahira, Saga immediately threw away her face while stroking her chest that was getting claustrophobic.

The woman came up to him while throwing such a helpless look and such great regret. Tahira cupped his hands in front of the man. Ran, Zara, Naura, Issaura, and Noah were all turned toward them.

"If Sister Saga has heard all the truth, please forgive me brother." Tahira.

Saga still threw away his face because he could not see the face of the woman. The tightness he felt was due to Tahira's stupidity.

"Sorrying can't bring back the grim past." Saga muttered which Tahira could still hear.

Tahira shed tears. Again the woman apologized. But Saga could not look at him.

"I'm doing all that just to keep your feelings down." Tahira.

"Because I feel unworthy to be by your side. I've been tainted by others, how can you love someone like me? That's why I gave up and walked out of your life."

Now Saga turned to look at Tahira with all his strength. "If you can be straightforward, I won't mind. The problem is that you never express your heart at all. You're always prejudiced by your exaggerated thoughts. Do you think that since you've been tainted by someone else, I'll throw you away?" Saga Paused.

"No Tahira, no nooo! I love you so much that I even take care of Bara when she is not my flesh and blood. Aahkkhh, I almost feel crazy because of all this." Saga grabbed her hair.

Issaura looked worried about her husband. The woman moves to calm Saga but Noah prevents her.

"No mom! Let me finish the past." Noah said. Finally Issaura.

Saga was crying facing a wall. Back shaken. His breath sounds are clear. Tahira was the same, the woman gripped regret in her heart. He felt very useless.

Amidst their bitter cries, the ICU room opened. A gurney was seen being pushed out by several nurses. Punti cloth with blood spots on his head is seen covering a person. Saga and Tahira's gaze was fixed on that thing. The vault moves towards both. Still glued, a doctor approached.

"Family patient?" Ask doctor. Both nod.

"The patient had his last breath about 15 minutes ago. The time of death of the patient on behalf of Maesabara, 18.33." Continue doctor.

I don't know what other feelings that perched on Saga's chest. The man immediately lost his direction. He stepped back and sat down on Kusri with a blank look towards the gurney. "Mara."

Everything in that place shed tears. Tahira finally sobbed when the woman half-dead fingered a situation like cyberspace. His only child, who was the reason he and Saga divorced, had left him.

'Then why do I survive.' Tahira collapsed onto the floor blankly like Saga.

Not staying silent, Zara immediately approached while supporting Tahira's body with both hands.

"Take yourself, Ra." Zara said as she hugged the woman.

Tahira cried in Zara's arms. "Aaaaa, I'm sorry Zan. Forgive me for doing this to you."

The doctor and Bara's gurney driven by the nurse had passed towards the morgue. Leaving the sobs of several people in the corridor of the ICU room.

In the end, the most tormented figure in the household tempest of Saga and Tahira picks up his fate of death when he just finds out who his real father really is. Bara left in a state of hating his own biological father. And left a wound for Saga, who was his adoptive father. Regret also hit Tahira's feelings. The biggest mistake is not telling them about the real events.

The man then stood up then stepped into the middle of the highway which was crowded with motorists. A few steps towards the middle of the road, Runda stopped as a truck drove towards him. Seconds that could not be prevented, Runda crashed himself until bounced far and fell on a sidewalk.

The man stared at the black cloud that was struggling up there. Then forced a streak of smile engraved on his lips then his eyes turned closed.
