My Lovely Cousin's

My Lovely Cousin's
Chapter 58: Something Will Change

Time passed so fast that it did not feel like night had come. In Zara's room there is only one sofa, so Ran decides to stay guard Zara and expel the three creatures who had accompanied them. Tahira actually disagrees when Ran tells them to leave but Saga whispers into Tahira's ear so as not to interfere with Ran and Zara's togetherness. Tahira finally resigned, but he planned to keep Zara as his guilt and apology.

"Okay, we go first. If there is anything quickly contact Saga. Understood?" tahira said a little tart.

"Without you telling me, I will indeed contact Saga" replied Ran who successfully made Tahira scoffed.

"Hm." Tahira shifted his eyes.

"Hey, hey.. Never mind. Let's go home." said Saga.

Now that Ran and Tahira's relationship looks like a brother and sister who never get along, they often argue and talk to each other. And most importantly, they would never assume their marriage took place despite evidence of divorce. They agreed not to discuss or remember the incident.

"All right, you. We go first, if you need anything then call me quickly." said Saga.

Ran nodded and Saga, Tahira and Raka left the room. Ran sat back in the chair next to the bed, looking at Zara's sleeping face. Thirty minutes ago the girl fell asleep due to the medicine given by the doctor. Ran smiled with immeasurable gratitude. He felt so lucky to be able to hold Zara back.

Now they are both orphans, even they are both only children, and that means they no longer have a family except Saga. Therefore Ran promised himself to take care and spend his life which is arguably still long with Zara. And to reinforce their relationship, Ran plans to marry Zara soon. He did not want to make the girl vacillate, so tying her to marriage was the best path for them to take. Even if Zara seems to be refusing. But Ran has a way for the girl to accept their marriage.

The last two pages of Zara's father's will have been read by her. In the will, Zara's father insists that Ran must marry Zara and hold her company. And the statement was written in bold, meaning they had to do it without rejection. Of course Ran strongly agreed, because now he only has Zara as the only source of happiness.

Ran laid her body on the sofa then slowly closed her eyes. Hopefully tomorrow Zara's situation will improve and they will go home together to the apartment. Tonight is a meaningful night for Ran. After finding Zara, there was no longer any reason for her to continue to nurture the grief in her heart. How grateful and happy he is now. Not long after, the dream world greeted him.

...*****...

Two days passed and finally Zara was able to return home to Ran's apartment. The girl misses the apartment and the room. Zara entered the room with a purple pastel. Pay attention to every angle that does not change at all. Zara turned her head towards Ran who was walking tail behind her. The girl threw the sweetest smile she ever had. Ran gobsmacked.

"What does that smile mean?" ran asked and started to step closer towards Zara.

"I'm so grateful that you're willing to take me back, and not change this place one bit either."

"I know you're coming back, and there's no reason I won't accept you. That's why I didn't change anything from this room. Besides I can remember you here, I'm also sure you'll be back. And that day has come."

They stared at each other with admiration, how sweet life they were currently feeling.

Ran led the girl to a mirror located on Zara's dresser. Looking over with a bewildered face, Zara wondered in her heart why Ran was bringing herself to the mirror. Ran directed Zara's gaze to look back at the mirror, Zara turned around.

"What's wrong?" tanyakanya.

"I want you back to what you used to be. It's time you changed." replied Ran.

Zara noticed his appearance. Sure enough, now the style looks like a half man. Zara was embarrassed. Ran quickly stroked the girl's hair.

"Be the old you" said Ran.

Zara looked into the man's eyes from the mirror reflection as if to tell him that she was comfortable with such a style. Ran understood that gaze, the look of rejection. Ran quickly shook his head in a sign he disagreed.

"But this is hard to change" said Zara Lirih.

"It's hard doesn't mean it can't, right?" tepis Ran's.

"But I love this hairstyle." again Zara looked down.

Ran sighed. "I'm not telling you to change your hairstyle if you're comfortable with it, it's just that I like your hair long. And also you just have to change your style to be a little graceful like you used to be. Okay?" Ran smiled as he kissed the girl's head.

"Mm, okay. Take me to the salon." said Zara who successfully made the inner Ran scream with excitement.

...*****...

Today the office looks so relaxed. The myriad of jobs that yesterday occupied the employees have finally ended. Surya felt able to breathe again because all the work that Ran gave him had reached the final. And soon lunch time will come. Staring at the wall clock of his room, Surya stood up and stepped out of the white room.

"Good day Mr. Surya." said his secretary.

"Good day." replied Surya so kindly.

He stepped towards the cafeteria located on the third floor. Today his younger brother asked for lunch together, because he did not want to bother him so the younger brother said he would come to see him in the office and have lunch there. Surya approves.

He arrived at the cafeteria and then stepped towards the table where he was already sitting handsome young man with a sweet smile that he always emanated. His sister was 19 years old and attended Emperor Univercity. Surya sat right in front of the young man.

"It's been a while?" surya asked his sister.

"Not yet, about 5 minutes." replied the young man.

"I want to tell you a little story."

For a moment their conversation stopped when the waiter came to bring the order. Surya stared at the food ordered by his sister. Phantastic. His sister is so understanding, she just sat down but the order has been presented and the important point is that the food ordered by her sister is the food that comes to her mind when she goes to the cafeteria.

"Wow, your nature never changes. You're a test." praise Surya.

"Ah, not like that. You could have. I just don't want to bother you." she said humbly.

Surya smiled proudly because he could have a sister as good as that. "Then tell me now, Satria."

"Look.." Satria gathered her courage first then continued. "There's a girl I like. She's two years older than me. She is beautiful and also comes from a good family. I stopped by his house and it was like his mommy liked me. Last time I visited there, her mom asked me to marry the girl. Then what do you think?"

Surya was stunned to hear his sister's words. It turned out that as long as they did not live together a lot was experienced by the young man.

"Is this girl any different than you've ever told me before?" surya just made sure. Because Satria used to only tell his figure without mentioning the name of the girl he liked.

"Obviously different. I used to love Zara but it turns out she has a boyfriend and now I like Aya." she said a little embarrassed.

"What's? Wh who? Zara's? You said Zara?" Surya was surprised to hear Zara's name called.

"Yes Zara. Wh why? Does your sister know him?" Satria.

"Zara's.. He's the son of the dead boss' brother. And now he is the lover and cousin of the current boss" explained Surya.

"A.what? Boss brother? So, Ran is your boss? God, why does it feel like the world is so narrow?" Satria scratched her head.

'Funny, Zara used to like me. And now my sister has a crush on Zara. Why does life look like a joke?' inner Solar.

"Then have you asked mom and dad?" surya continues.

"It has. They agreed. Even Dad said he would give some of his property to me in order to marry Aya." Satria looks lethargic.

"Then what's your problem? If Mom and Dad have agreed why do you still look troubled?"

"I'm not actually getting married. You know I'm still in college. I just got into an even semester and Aya is almost done. I don't think we fit. I still can't be categorized as an adult sis." that Satria sounded bitter.

"Haha you are. If indeed you feel you have not been able to inhabit, then tell the girl's parents. I think you can give them reassurance by showing your seriousness to the feelings you have for the girl. And you must certainly strengthen yourself." said Surya.

"Isn't that the name of refusing?"

"Oh Satria, refusing means you're just as sorry you don't want to marry that girl. But if delaying as I explained earlier means you accept the request it's just time to be stretched on the grounds that you're not ready. Sounds different, right? Refuse and stall. Understand no?"

"Oh that? I just get it now. So I had to tell Mommy Aya that I wasn't ready, was I?"

"More or less."

"What if he's disappointed?" ask Satria again.

"He will be more disappointed if he knows you have not been able to accept it" replied Surya.

"You're right. All right I'll tell you everything." closed Satria.

They finally continued the rare lunch. Because after this Satria will go directly to Aya's house and convey his uneg-uneg.

"Thank you, brother. You are the best. Next time I'll take you to lunch again." said Satira saying goodbye.

"No need. I'll go home. After my boss comes back in, I'll ask for a leave of absence. Give my longing greetings to Father and Mother." Surya replied.

Satria nodded and finally left. Satria and Surya are baradic sisters who are so harmonious. Their relationship is different from that of siblings in general because they rarely quarrel. Surya loves his sister and vice versa. Not infrequently they give each other advice for the problems they are experiencing. Because their parents taught kindness, they were well printed. Both their behavior and speech, arguably very good.

After Satria's departure, Surya returned to his room. Today might be the last day he works. Seeing Satria made him instantly miss his little family. So he decided he would resign soon and probably work at his father's agency. And one more thing, he'll be looking for a life partner.
